01-46:34 That ye
shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until
now, both we, and also our fathers:
that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an
abomination unto the Egyptians.
01-49:24 But his
bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands
of the mighty God of Jacob; (from
thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
04-27:17 Which may
go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out,
and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep
which have no shepherd.
11-22:17 And
he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These
have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
14-18:16 Then
he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have
no shepherd: and the LORD said, These
have no master; let them return therefore
every man to his house in peace.
19-23:1 The
LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
19-80:1 Give
ear, O Shepherd of
Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
21-12:11 The
words of the wise are as goads, and
as nails fastened by the masters of
assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
23-40:11 He
shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he
shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall
gently lead those that are with young.
23-44:28 That
saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my
pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy
foundation shall be laid.
23-63:11 Then
he remembered the days of old, Moses, and
his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the
sea with the shepherd of
his flock? where is he that put his
holy Spirit within him?
24-31:10 Hear
the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will
gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his
flock.
24-43:12 And
I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn
them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of
Egypt, as a shepherd
putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
24-49:19 Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation
of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
24-50:44 Behold,
he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of
the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
24-51:23 I
will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in
pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in
pieces captains and rulers.
26-34:5 And
they were scattered, because there is no
shepherd: and they became meat to
all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
26-34:8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely
because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the
field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds
search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
26-34:12 As
a shepherd seeketh out his flock in
the day that he is among his sheep that
are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of
all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
26-34:23 And
I will set up one shepherd
over them, and he shall feed them, even my
servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
26-37:24 And
David my servant shall be king over
them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and
observe my statutes, and do them.
30-3:12 Thus
saith the LORD; As the shepherd
taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall
the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a
bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
38-10:2 For
the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told
false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock,
they were troubled, because there was no
shepherd.
38-11:15 And
the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
38-11:16 For,
lo, I will raise up a shepherd in
the land, which shall not visit those
that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken,
nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and
tear their claws in pieces.
38-11:17 Woe
to the idol shepherd
that leaveth the flock! the sword shall
be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up,
and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
38-13:7 Awake,
O sword, against my shepherd,
and against the man that is my
fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will
turn mine hand upon the little ones.
40-9:36 But when
he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they
fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
40-25:32 And before
him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another,
as a shepherd
divideth his sheep from the goats:
40-26:31 Then saith
Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is
written, I will smite the shepherd,
and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
41-6:34 And
Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward
them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.
41-14:27 And Jesus
saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is
written, I will smite the shepherd,
and the sheep shall be scattered.
43-10:2 But he
that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
43-10:11 I am the
good shepherd:
the good shepherd
giveth his life for the sheep.
43-10:12 But he that
is an hireling, and not the shepherd,
whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and
fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
43-10:14 I am the
good shepherd,
and know my sheep, and am known of
mine.
43-10:16 And other
sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall
hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and
one shepherd.
58-13:20 Now the
God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the
blood of the everlasting covenant,
60-2:25 For ye were
as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
60-5:4 And when
the chief Shepherd
shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

09-17:40 And
he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the
brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he
had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in
his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
23-38:12 Mine
age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd’s
tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining
sickness: from day even to night wilt
thou make an end of me.

01-46:32 And the
men are shepherds,
for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks,
and their herds, and all that they have.
01-47:3 And
Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your
occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.
02-2:17 And the shepherds
came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their
flock.
02-2:19 And they said, An Egyptian delivered
us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also
drew water enough for us, and watered
the flock.
09-25:7 And
now I have heard that thou hast shearers: now thy shepherds
which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto
them, all the while they were in Carmel.
23-13:20 It
shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to
generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.
23-31:4 For
thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring
on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is
called forth against him, he will not
be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the
LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
23-56:11 Yea,
they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds
that cannot understand: they all look
to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
24-6:3 The
shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her;
they shall pitch their tents against
her round about; they shall feed every one in his place.
24-23:4 And
I will set up shepherds over them which shall
feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be
lacking, saith the LORD.
24-25:34 Howl,
ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock:
for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye
shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
24-25:35 And
the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the
principal of the flock to escape.
24-25:36 A
voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an
howling of the principal of the flock, shall
be heard: for the LORD hath spoiled their pasture.
24-33:12 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and
without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their
flocks to lie down.
24-50:6 My
people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds
have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have
forgotten their restingplace.
26-34:2 Son
of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them,
Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds
of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
26-34:7 Therefore,
ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
26-34:8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely
because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the
field, because there was no shepherd,
neither did my shepherds search for my flock,
but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
26-34:9 Therefore,
O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
26-34:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
the shepherds; and I will require my flock at
their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the
shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their
mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
30-1:2 And
he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and
the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn,
and the top of Carmel shall wither.
33-5:5 And
this man shall be the peace, when the
Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then
shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and
eight principal men.
34-3:18 Thy
shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria: thy nobles
shall dwell in the dust: thy people
is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them.
36-2:6 And
the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages
for shepherds, and folds for flocks.
38-10:3 Mine
anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I
punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of
Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
38-11:3 There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the
roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
38-11:5 Whose
possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them
say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am
rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
38-11:8 Three
shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul
loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
42-2:8 And
there were in the same country shepherds abiding
in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
42-2:15 And it
came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto
Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made
known unto us.
42-2:18 And all
they that heard it wondered at those
things which were told them by the shepherds.
42-2:20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for
all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

15-8:18 And
by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of
the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his

15-8:24 Then
I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with
