thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and
thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.

top of it, and the sides thereof round about,
and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.

04-33:55 But if ye will not drive out the
inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those
which ye let remain of them shall be pricks
in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and
shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
06-23:13 Know for a certainty that the LORD
your God will no more drive out any of these
nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and
scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes,
until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
07-2:3 Wherefore I also said, I will not
drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their
gods shall be a snare unto you.
07-5:30 Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a
damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of
divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of
needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them
that take the spoil?
09-24:3 And he came to the sheepcotes by the

reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come

of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I
will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.

the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides
of the north, the city of the great King.

of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
23-14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I
will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will
sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides
of the north:
23-14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to
hell, to the sides of the pit.
23-37:24 By thy servants hast thou reproached
the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the
height of the mountains, to the sides of
Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height
of his border, and the forest of his
Carmel.
23-66:12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I
will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a
flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
24-6:22 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a
people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from
the sides of the earth.
24-48:28 O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the
cities, and dwell in the rock, and be like the dove that maketh her nest in the sides of
the hole’s mouth.
24-49:32 And their camels shall be a booty,
and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds
them that are in the utmost corners;
and I will bring their calamity from all sides
thereof, saith the LORD.
26-1:8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
26-1:17 When they went, they went upon their
four sides: and
they turned not when they went.
26-10:11 When they went, they went upon their
four sides; they turned not as they went, but to
the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they
went.
26-32:23 Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her
grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land
of the living.
26-41:2 And the breadth of the door was ten cubits: and the sides of the door were
five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he
measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.
26-41:26 And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the
other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and
thick planks.
26-42:20 He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to
make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
26-46:19 After he brought me through the
entry, which was at the side of the
gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which looked toward the north:
and, behold, there was a place on the
two sides westward.
26-48:1 Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the
way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus
northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides
east and west; a portion for Dan.
30-6:10 And a man’s uncle shall take him up,
and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say
unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with
thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not
make mention of the name of the LORD.
32-1:5 Then the mariners were afraid, and
cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to
lighten it of them. But Jonah was
gone down into the sides of the ship; and he
lay, and was fast asleep.

01-10:15 And Canaan
begat Sidon his
firstborn, and Heth,
01-10:19 And the
border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest,
unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
40-11:21 Woe unto thee,
Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in
you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth
and ashes.
40-11:22 But I say
unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
40-15:21 Then Jesus
went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
41-3:8 And from
Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond
Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what
great things he did, came unto him.
41-7:24 And from
thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man
know it: but he could not be hid.
41-7:31 And
again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the
midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
42-4:26 But unto
none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto
a woman that was a widow.
42-6:17 And he
came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples,
and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the
sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which
came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
42-10:13 Woe unto
thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done
in Tyre and Sidon, which
have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in
sackcloth and ashes.
42-10:14 But it shall
be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
44-12:20 And Herod
was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and,

their country was nourished by the king’s country.
44-27:3 And the
next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously
entreated Paul, and gave him liberty
to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

05-3:9 (Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the
Amorites call it Shenir;)
06-13:4 From the
south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians
unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:
06-13:6 All the
inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the
children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an
inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
07-3:3 Namely, five lords of the Philistines,
and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon,
from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath.
11-5:6 Now
therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my
servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy
servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill
to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.

05-20:19 When thou shalt besiege a city a long
time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees
thereof by forcing an ax against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou
shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man’s life) to employ them in the siege:
05-28:53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine
own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God
hath given thee, in the siege, and in the
straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:
05-28:55 So that he will not give to any of
them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing
left him in the siege, and in the straitness,
wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.
05-28:57 And toward her young one that cometh
out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for
she shall eat them for want of all things
secretly in the siege and straitness,
wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.
11-15:27 And Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the
house of Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasha smote him at Gibbethon,
which belonged to the Philistines;
for Nadab and all Israel laid siege to
Gibbethon.
14-32:9 After this did Sennacherib king of
Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem, (but he himself laid siege against Lachish,
and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that
were at Jerusalem, saying,
14-32:10 Thus saith Sennacherib king of
Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye abide in the siege
in Jerusalem?
23-29:3 And I will camp against thee round
about, and will lay siege against thee with a
mount, and I will raise forts against thee.
24-19:9 And I will cause them to eat the
flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every
one the flesh of his friend in the siege and
straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall
straiten them.
26-4:2 And lay siege
against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the
camp also against it, and set battering rams
against it round about.
26-4:3 Moreover take thou unto thee an
iron pan, and set it for a wall of
iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be
besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it.
This shall be a sign to the house of
Israel.
26-4:7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face
toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt
prophesy against it.
26-4:8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon
thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast
ended the days of thy siege.
26-5:2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third
part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege
are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt
scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
33-5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O
daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against
us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
34-3:14 Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and
tread the morter, make strong the brickkiln.
38-12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup
of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

23-30:28 And his breath, as an overflowing
stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall
not the least grain fall upon the earth.

25-1:11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant
things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become
vile.
25-1:21 They have heard that I sigh: there is none
to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that
thou hast done it: thou wilt bring
the day that thou hast called, and
they shall be like unto me.
26-9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go
through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark
upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that
cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
26-21:6 Sigh
therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh
before their eyes.

weak as water: behold, it cometh, and
shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
