present to the king of Assyria, as he had
done year by year: therefore the king of Assyria shut him up, and bound him
in prison.

60-1:13 Wherefore

60-4:7 But the

01-10:19 And the
border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as
thou goest, unto Sodom, and
Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
01-13:10 And Lot lifted
up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the
land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
01-13:12 Abram
dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and
pitched his tent toward Sodom.
01-13:13 But the
men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD
exceedingly.
01-14:2 That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of
Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of
Bela, which is Zoar.
01-14:8 And there
went out the king of Sodom, and
the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the
king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and
they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;
01-14:10 And the
vale of Siddim was full of slimepits;
and the kings of Sodom and
Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.
01-14:11 And they
took all the goods of Sodom and
Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.
01-14:12 And they
took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
01-14:17 And the
king of Sodom went
out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the
kings that were with him, at the
valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s
dale.
01-14:21 And the
king of Sodom said
unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
01-14:22 And Abram
said to the king of Sodom, I
have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of
heaven and earth,
01-18:16 And the
men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the
way.
01-18:20 And the
LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is
very grievous;
01-18:22 And the
men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
01-18:26 And the
LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty
righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
01-19:1 And there
came two angels to Sodom at
even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face
toward the ground;
01-19:4 But
before they lay down, the men of the city, even
the men of Sodom,
compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every
quarter:
01-19:24 Then the
LORD rained upon Sodom and
upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
01-19:28 And he
looked toward Sodom and
Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke
of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
05-29:23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein,
like the overthrow of Sodom, and
Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his
wrath:
05-32:32 For their
vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of
Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of
gall, their clusters are bitter:
23-1:9 Except
the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as
Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
23-1:10 Hear
the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of
Gomorrah.
23-3:9 The
shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin
as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they
have rewarded evil unto themselves.
23-13:19 And
Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, shall
be as when God overthrew Sodom and
Gomorrah.
24-23:14 I
have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit
adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that
none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof
as Gomorrah.
24-49:18 As
in the overthrow of Sodom and
Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof,
saith the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in
it.
24-50:40 As
God overthrew Sodom and
Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof,
saith the LORD; so shall no man abide
there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.
25-4:6 For
the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the
punishment of the sin of Sodom, that
was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her.
26-16:46 And
thine elder sister is Samaria, she and
her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that
dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
26-16:48 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she
nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
26-16:49 Behold,
this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of
idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand
of the poor and needy.
26-16:53 When
I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria
and her daughters, then will I bring
again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:
26-16:55 When
thy sisters, Sodom and
her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her
daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall
return to your former estate.
26-16:56 For
thy sister Sodom was
not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,
30-4:11 I
have overthrown some of you, as God
overthrew Sodom and
Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye
not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
36-2:9 Therefore
as I live, saith the LORD of hosts,
the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and
saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil
them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
40-10:15 Verily I
say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of
judgment, than for that city.
40-11:23 And thou,
Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if
the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until
this day.
40-11:24 But I say
unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than
for thee.
41-6:11 And
whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off
the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you,
It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for
that city.
42-10:12 But I say
unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
42-17:29 But the
same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed
them all.
61-2:6 And
turning the cities of Sodom and
Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with
an overthrow, making them an ensample
unto those that after should live ungodly;
65-1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities
about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going
after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of
eternal fire.
66-11:8 And their
dead bodies shall lie in the street
of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

11-22:46 And

11-8:38 What
prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague

14-6:29 Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be
made of any man, or of all thy people Israel, when every one shall know his own

14-19:10 And
what cause soever shall come to you of your
brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and
commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass
not against the LORD, and so wrath
come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
41-3:28 Verily I
say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies
wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
41-6:10 And he
said unto them, In what place soever ye enter
into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.
41-11:24 Therefore
I say unto you, What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them.
43-5:19 Then
answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can
do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
43-20:23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever
sins ye retain, they are retained.
45-3:19 Now we
know that what things soever the law saith, it
saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all
the world may become guilty before God.

03-17:8 And thou shalt say unto them,
Whatsoever man there be of the house
of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn
among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,
03-17:10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of
the strangers that sojourn among you, that
eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that
eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
03-17:13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or
of the strangers that sojourn among you, which
hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour
out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
03-19:33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
03-20:2 Again, thou shalt say to the
children of Israel, Whosoever he be of
the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn
in Israel, that giveth any of his
seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall
stone him with stones.
03-25:45 Moreover of the children of the
strangers that do sojourn among you, of them
shall ye buy, and of their families that are
with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
04-9:14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the
LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner
thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger,
and for him that was born in the land.
04-15:14 And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made
by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.
07-17:8 And the man departed out of the city
from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could
find a place: and he came to mount
Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
07-17:9 And Micah said unto him, Whence
comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a
Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn
where I may find a place.
08-1:1 Now it came to pass in the days
when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man
of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country
of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.
11-17:20 And he cried unto the LORD, and said,
O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
12-8:1 Then spake Elisha unto the woman,
whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine
household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it
shall also come upon the land seven years.
19-120:5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that
I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
23-23:7 Is
this your joyous city, whose
antiquity is of ancient days? her own
feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn.
23-52:4 For thus saith the Lord GOD, My
people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn
there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
24-42:15 And now therefore hear the word of
the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there;
24-42:17 So shall it be with all the men that
set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn
there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and
none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.
24-42:22 Now therefore know certainly that ye
shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place
whither ye desire to go and to sojourn.
24-43:2 Then spake Azariah the son of
Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto
Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Go
not into Egypt to sojourn there:
24-44:12 And I will take the remnant of Judah,
that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they
shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from
the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they
shall be an execration, and an
astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
24-44:14 So that none of the remnant of Judah,
which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn
there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah,
to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return
but such as shall escape.
24-44:28 Yet a small number that escape the
sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the
remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand,
mine, or theirs.
25-4:15 They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch
not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall
no more sojourn there.
26-20:38 And I will purge out from among you
the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of
the country where they sojourn, and they shall
not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-47:22 And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an
inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn
among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as
born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance
with you among the tribes of Israel.
44-7:6 And God
spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn
in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

hast sojourned.

my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned

fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner;

as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile:

by thee, or to the stock of the stranger’s family:
04-35:15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for
the stranger, and for the sojourner among them:
that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.

unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a
sojourner, as all my fathers were.

03-17:12 Therefore I said unto the children of
Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

by myself:
