18-16:4 I also could speak as ye do: if your soul
were in my soul’s stead, I could heap up words
against you, and shake mine head at you.

01-12:5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and
Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went
forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.
01-46:15 These be the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padanaram, with
his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons
and his daughters were thirty and
three.
01-46:18 These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and
these she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen
souls.
01-46:22 These are the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls were fourteen.
01-46:25 These are the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter,
and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven.
01-46:26 All the souls
that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob’s
sons’ wives, all the souls were threescore and six;
01-46:27 And the sons of Joseph, which were
born him in Egypt, were two souls: all the souls of
the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were
threescore and ten.
02-1:5 And
all the souls that came out of the loins of
Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in
Egypt already.
02-12:4 And
if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next
unto his house take it according to
the number of the souls; every man according to
his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
02-30:15 The
rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel,
when they give an offering unto the
LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
02-30:16 And
thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt
appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may
be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement
for your souls.
03-16:29 And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls,
and do no work at all, whether it be one
of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
03-16:31 It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
03-17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to
you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls:
for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
03-18:29 For whosoever shall commit any of
these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their
people.
03-20:25 Ye shall therefore put difference
between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye
shall not make your souls abominable by beast,
or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which
I have separated from you as unclean.
03-23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it
shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the
LORD.
03-23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate
your sabbath.
04-16:38 The censers of these sinners against
their own souls, let them make them broad plates
for a covering of the altar: for they
offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a
sign unto the children of Israel.
04-29:7 And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy
convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye
shall not do any work therein:
04-30:9 But every vow of a widow, and of her
that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls,
shall stand against her.
04-31:50 We have therefore brought an oblation
for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and
bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.
06-10:28 And that day Joshua took Makkedah,
and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly
destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he
did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho.
06-10:30 And the LORD delivered it also, and
the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the
sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it;
but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.
06-10:32 And the LORD delivered Lachish into
the hand of Israel, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge
of the sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he
had done to Libnah.
06-10:35 And they took it on that day, and
smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls
that were therein he utterly
destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.
06-10:37 And they took it, and smote it with
the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and
all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had
done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls
that were therein.
06-10:39 And he took it, and the king thereof,
and all the cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and
utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as
he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had
done also to Libnah, and to her king.
06-11:11 And they smote all the souls that were therein
with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with
fire.
06-23:14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and
ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls,
that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God
spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
09-25:29 Yet a man is risen to pursue thee,
and to seek thy soul: but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of
life with the LORD thy God; and the souls of
thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as
out of the middle of a sling.
19-72:13 He shall spare the poor and needy,
and shall save the souls of the needy.
19-97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he
preserveth the souls of his saints; he
delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
20-11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
20-14:25 A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.
23-57:16 For I will not contend for ever,
neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I
have made.
24-2:34 Also in thy skirts is found the
blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have
not found it by secret search, but upon all these.
24-6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the
ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
24-26:19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all
Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD,
and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them?
Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.
24-44:7 Therefore now thus saith the LORD,
the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls,
to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave
you none to remain;
25-1:19 I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and
mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to
relieve their souls.
26-7:19 They shall cast their silver in the
streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not
be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not
satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels:
because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
26-13:18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe
to the women that sew pillows to all
armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls
of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
26-13:19 And will ye pollute me among my
people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my
people that hear your lies?
26-13:20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I am against your pillows,
wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your
arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls
that ye hunt to make them fly.
26-14:14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel,
and Job, were in it, they should deliver but
their own souls by their righteousness,
saith the Lord GOD.
26-14:20 Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor
daughter; they shall but deliver
their own souls by their righteousness.
26-18:4 Behold, all souls
are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the
soul that sinneth, it shall die.
26-22:25 There
is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion
ravening the prey; they have devoured souls;
they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many
widows in the midst thereof.
26-22:27 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to
shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
40-11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
42-21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
44-2:41 Then they that gladly received his
word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
44-7:14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father
Jacob to him, and all his kindred,
threescore and fifteen souls.
44-14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must
through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
44-15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that
certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye
must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
44-27:37 And we were in all in the ship two
hundred threescore and sixteen souls.
52-2:8 So being affectionately desirous of
you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but
also our own souls, because ye were dear unto
us.
58-13:17 Obey them that have the rule over
you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls,
as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with
grief: for that is unprofitable for
you.
59-1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness
and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word,
which is able to save your souls.
60-1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
60-1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto
unfeigned love of the brethren, see that
ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
60-2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray;
but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
60-3:20 Which sometime were disobedient,
when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark
was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls
were saved by water.
60-4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer
according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in
well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
61-2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and
that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls:
an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
66-6:9 And when
he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held:
66-18:13 And
cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and
fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and
slaves, and souls of men.
66-20:4 And I saw
thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls
of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received
his mark upon their foreheads, or in
their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

02-28:35 And
it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound
shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the LORD, and when he cometh out, that he die not.
03-25:9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of
the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement
shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all
your land.
03-26:36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness
into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they
shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.
04-10:7 But when the congregation is to be gathered
together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound
an alarm.
06-6:5 And it shall come to pass, that
when they make a long blast with the
ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with
a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people
shall ascend up every man straight before him.
06-6:20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and
it came to pass, when the people heard the sound
of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell
down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before
him, and they took the city.
10-5:24 And let it be, when thou hearest the
sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry
trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out
before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.
10-6:15 So David and all the house of Israel
brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
10-15:10 But Absalom sent spies throughout all
the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound
of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron.
11-1:40 And all the people came up after
him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the
earth rent with the sound of them.
11-1:41 And Adonijah and all the guests that
were with him heard it as they had made an end of eating.
And when Joab heard the sound of the trumpet, he
said, Wherefore is this noise of the
city being in an uproar?
11-14:6 And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of
her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of
Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be
another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.
11-18:41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee
up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
12-6:32 But Elisha sat in his house, and the
elders sat with him; and the king sent
a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him, he said to the
elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away mine head?
look, when the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound
of his master’s feet behind him?
13-14:15 And it shall be, when thou shalt hear
a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry
trees, that then thou shalt go out to
battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.
13-15:19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and
Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;
13-15:28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of
the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound
of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with
psalteries and harps.
13-16:5 Asaph the chief, and next to him
Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and
Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made
a sound with cymbals;
13-16:42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with
trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound,
and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
14-5:13 It came even to pass, as the
trumpeters and singers were as one,
to make one sound to be heard in praising and
thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their
voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised
the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
16-4:20 In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the
trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us.
18-15:21 A dreadful sound
is in his ears: in prosperity the
destroyer shall come upon him.
18-21:12 They take the timbrel and harp, and
rejoice at the sound of the organ.
18-37:2 Hear attentively the noise of his
voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
18-39:24 He swalloweth the ground with
fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.
19-47:5 God is gone up with a shout, the
LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
19-77:17 The clouds poured out water: the
skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went
abroad.
19-89:15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound:
they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
19-92:3 Upon an instrument of ten strings,
and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
19-98:6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD,
the King.
19-119:80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
19-150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and
harp.
20-2:7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
20-3:21 My son, let not them depart from
thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
20-8:14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
20-14:30 A sound
heart is the life of the flesh: but
envy the rottenness of the bones.
21-12:4 And the doors shall be shut in the
streets, when the sound of the grinding is low,
and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick
shall be brought low;
23-16:11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for
Kirharesh.
24-4:19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at
my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because
thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the
trumpet, the alarm of war.
24-4:21 How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound
of the trumpet?
24-6:17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not
hearken.
24-8:16 The snorting of his horses was heard
from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound
of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the
land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.
24-25:10 Moreover I will take from them the
voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the
voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones,
and the light of the candle.
24-42:14 Saying, No; but we will go into the
land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound
of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:
24-48:36 Therefore mine heart shall sound for Moab like pipes, and mine heart shall sound like pipes for the men of Kirheres: because the
riches that he hath gotten are
perished.
24-50:22 A sound
of battle is in the land, and of great
destruction.
24-51:54 A sound
of a cry cometh from Babylon, and
great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:
26-10:5 And the sound
of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to
the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.
26-26:13 And I will cause the noise of thy
songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall
be no more heard.
26-26:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus;
Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy
fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?
26-27:28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.
26-31:16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with
them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best
of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the
earth.
26-33:4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the
sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
26-33:5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon
him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
27-3:5 That
at what time ye hear the sound of the
cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye
fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set
up:
27-3:7 Therefore at that time, when all
the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute,
harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations,
and the languages, fell down and worshipped
the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
27-3:10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree,
that every man that shall hear the sound of the
cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick,
shall fall down and worship the golden image:
27-3:15 Now if ye be ready that at what time
ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut,
psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the
image which I have made; well: but if
ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning
fiery furnace; and who is that God
that shall deliver you out of my hands?
29-2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the
inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
30-2:2 But I will send a fire upon Moab,
and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab shall die with tumult,
with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:
30-6:5 That chant to the sound of the viol, and
invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;
40-6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in
the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I
say unto you, They have their reward.
40-24:31 And he shall send his angels with a
great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together
his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
42-15:27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is
come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him
safe and sound.
43-3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst
not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born
of the Spirit.
44-2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it
filled all the house where they were sitting.
45-10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes
verily, their sound went into all the earth, and
their words unto the ends of the world.
46-14:7 And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction
in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
46-14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain
sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
46-15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an
eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
54-1:10 For whoremongers, for them that
defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured
persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
55-1:7 For God hath not given us the
spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound
mind.
55-1:13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and
love which is in Christ Jesus.
55-4:3 For the time will come when they
will not endure sound doctrine; but after their
own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
56-1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as
he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound
doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
56-1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore
rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in
the faith;
56-2:1 But speak thou the things which
become sound doctrine:
56-2:2 That the aged men be sober, grave,
temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in
patience.
56-2:8 Sound
speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed,
having no evil thing to say of you.
58-12:19 And the sound
of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice
they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any
more:
66-1:15 And his
feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the
sound of many waters.
66-8:6 And the
seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
66-8:13 And I
beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a
loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the
other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
66-9:9 And they
had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many
horses running to battle.
66-10:7 But in
the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he
hath declared to his servants the prophets.
66-18:22 And the
voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard
no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee;
and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no
more at all in thee;

02-19:19 And
when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed
louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
09-20:12 And Jonathan said unto David, O LORD
God of Israel, when I have sounded my father
about to morrow any time, or the
third day, and, behold, if there be good toward David, and I
then send not unto thee, and shew it thee;
14-7:6 And the priests waited on their
offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David
the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the
priests sounded trumpets before them, and all
Israel stood.
14-13:14 And when Judah looked back, behold,
the battle was before and behind: and
they cried unto the LORD, and the priests sounded
with the trumpets.
14-23:13 And she looked, and, behold, the king
stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the
king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded
with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught
to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason.
14-29:28 And all the congregation worshipped,
and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded:
and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
16-4:18 For the builders, every one had his
sword girded by his side, and so builded.
And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.
42-1:44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy
salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped
in my womb for joy.
44-27:28 And sounded,
and found it twenty fathoms: and when
they had gone a little further, they sounded
again, and found it fifteen fathoms.
52-1:8 For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia
and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so
that we need not to speak any thing.
66-8:7 The
first angel sounded, and there followed hail and
fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of
trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
66-8:8 And the
second angel sounded, and as it were a great
mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea
became blood;
66-8:10 And the
third angel sounded, and there fell a great star
from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the
rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
66-8:12 And the
fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the
sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars;
so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third
part of it, and the night likewise.
66-9:1 And the
fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from
heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
66-9:13 And the
sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from
the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
66-11:15 And the
seventh angel sounded; and there were great
voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his
Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

02-19:13 There
shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through;
whether it be beast or man, it shall
not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they
shall come up to the mount.

13-15:16 And David spake to the chief of the
Levites to appoint their brethren to be the
singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.
14-5:12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of
Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having
cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with
them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with
trumpets:)
14-13:12 And, behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding
trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against
the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.
19-150:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals:
praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
23-63:15 Look down from heaven, and behold
from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me?
are they restrained?
26-7:7 The morning is come unto thee, O
thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
46-13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of
men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling
cymbal.

the head there is no soundness in it; but
wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed,
neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.

by him hath given him this perfect soundness in
