S,1080 speak
01-18:27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold
now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the
Lord, which am but dust and ashes:
01-18:30 And
he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord
be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there
shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
01-18:31 And
he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak
unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I
will not destroy it for twenty’s
sake.
01-18:32 And
he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak
yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will
not destroy it for ten’s sake.
01-24:33 And
there was set meat before him to eat:
but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.
01-24:50 Then
Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing proceedeth from the LORD: we
cannot speak unto thee bad or good.
01-27:6 And
Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,
01-31:24 And
God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed
that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
01-31:29 It
is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake
unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that thou speak
not to Jacob either good or bad.
01-32:4 And
he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak
unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban,
and stayed there until now:
01-32:19 And
so commanded he the second, and the third, and all that followed the droves,
saying, On this manner shall ye speak unto Esau,
when ye find him.
01-37:4 And
when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren,
they hated him, and could not speak peaceably
unto him.
01-44:16 And
Judah said, What shall we say unto my lord? what shall we speak? or how shall we clear ourselves? God hath found
out the iniquity of thy servants: behold, we are my lord’s servants, both we, and he also with whom the cup is found.
01-44:18 Then
Judah came near unto him, and said, Oh my lord, let thy servant, I pray thee, speak a word in my lord’s ears, and let not thine
anger burn against thy servant: for thou art
even as Pharaoh.
01-50:4 And
when the days of his mourning were past, Joseph spake unto the house of
Pharaoh, saying, If now I have found grace in your eyes, speak, I pray you, in the ears of Pharaoh, saying,
02-4:14 And
the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I
know that he can speak well. And also, behold,
he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his
heart.
02-4:15 And
thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his
mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you
what ye shall do.
02-5:23 For
since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he
hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.
02-6:11 Go
in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he
let the children of Israel go out of his land.
02-6:29 That
the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I am the
LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that
I say unto thee.
02-7:2 Thou
shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron
thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he
send the children of Israel out of his land.
02-7:9 When
Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a
miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
02-11:2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man
borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver,
and jewels of gold.
02-12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying,
In the tenth day of this month they
shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
02-14:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and
encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon:
before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
02-14:15 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go
forward:
02-16:12 I
have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak
unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be
filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am
the LORD your God.
02-19:6 And
ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
02-19:9 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the
people may hear when I speak with thee, and
believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
02-20:19 And
they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we
will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest
we die.
02-23:2 Thou
shalt not follow a multitude to do evil;
neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline
after many to wrest judgment:
02-23:22 But
if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak;
then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine
adversaries.
02-25:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me
an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take
my offering.
02-28:3 And
thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom,
that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister
unto me in the priest’s office.
02-29:42 This shall be a continual burnt offering
throughout your generations at the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet
you, to speak there unto thee.
02-30:31 And
thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your
generations.
02-31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily
my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a
sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the
LORD that doth sanctify you.
02-32:12 Wherefore
should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief
did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from
the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil
against thy people.
02-34:34 But
when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with
him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto
the children of Israel that which he
was commanded.
02-34:35 And
the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face
shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
03-1:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an
offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.
03-4:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul
shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be
done, and shall do against any of them:
03-6:25 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the
place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed
before the LORD: it is most holy.
03-7:23 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall
eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.
03-7:29 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that
offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his
oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.
03-9:3 And
unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak,
saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish,
for a burnt offering;
03-11:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among
all the beasts that are on the earth.
03-12:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman
have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven
days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be
unclean.
03-15:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
03-16:2 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy
brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I
will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
03-17:2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the
children of Israel, and say unto them; This is
the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,
03-18:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
I am the LORD your God.
03-19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of
Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
03-21:1 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests
the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead
among his people:
03-21:17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations
that hath any blemish, let him not
approach to offer the bread of his God.
03-22:2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate
themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they
profane not my holy name in those things which
they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.
03-22:18 Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the
children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that
will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings,
which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;
03-23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which
ye shall proclaim to be holy
convocations, even these are my feasts.
03-23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest
thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto
the priest:
03-23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the
seventh month, in the first day of
the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy
convocation.
03-23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The
fifteenth day of this seventh month shall
be the feast of tabernacles for seven
days unto the LORD.
03-24:15 And
thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
03-25:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When
ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto
the LORD.
03-27:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation.
04-5:6 Speak
unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men
commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
04-5:12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
If any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
04-6:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When either man or woman shall separate themselves
to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves
unto the LORD:
04-6:23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this
wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
04-7:89 And
when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one
speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and
he spake unto him.
04-8:2 Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest
the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
04-9:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man
of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall
keep the passover unto the LORD.
04-12:6 And
he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto
him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
04-12:8 With
him will I speak mouth to mouth, even
apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he
behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak
against my servant Moses?
04-14:15 Now
if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the
nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak,
saying,
04-15:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,
04-15:18 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When ye come into the land whither I bring you,
04-15:38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that
they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their
generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of
blue:
04-16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from
about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
04-16:37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that
he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder;
for they are hallowed.
04-17:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every
one of them a rod according to the house of their
fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers
twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
04-18:26 Thus
speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When
ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them
for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the
LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.
04-19:2 This
is the ordinance of the law which the
LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the
children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:
04-20:8 Take
the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother,
and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes;
and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out
of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
04-21:27 Wherefore
they that speak in proverbs say, Come into
Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:
04-22:8 And
he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as
the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of
Moab abode with Balaam.
04-22:35 And
the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that
I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.
04-22:38 And
Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power at all to
say any thing? the word that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.
04-23:5 And
the LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus
thou shalt speak.
04-23:12 And
he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak
that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?
04-24:13 If
Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the
commandment of the LORD, to do either good
or bad of mine own mind; but what the
LORD saith, that will I speak?
04-27:7 The
daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt
surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father’s brethren;
and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
04-27:8 And
thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel,
saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to
pass unto his daughter.
04-33:51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When
ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
04-35:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
05-3:26 But the LORD was wroth with me for
your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice
thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.
05-5:1 And
Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and
judgments which I speak in your ears this day,
that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.
05-5:27 Go
thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.
05-5:31 But
as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak
unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou
shalt teach them, that they may do them in
the land which I give them to possess it.
05-9:4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy
God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD
hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these
nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
05-11:2 And
know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known,
and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness,
his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,
05-18:18 I
will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and
will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak
unto them all that I shall command him.
05-18:19 And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever
will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak
in my name, I will require it of him.
05-18:20 But
the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word
in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak,
or that shall speak in the name of other gods,
even that prophet shall die.
05-20:2 And
it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall
approach and speak unto the people,
05-20:5 And
the officers shall speak unto the people,
saying, What man is there that hath
built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his
house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.
05-20:8 And
the officers shall speak further unto the
people, and they shall say, What man is
there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his
house, lest his brethren’s heart faint as well as his heart.
05-25:8 Then
the elders of his city shall call him, and speak
unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her;
05-26:5 And
thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy
God, A Syrian ready to perish was my
father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became
there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
05-27:14 And
the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men
of Israel with a loud voice,
05-31:28 Gather
unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and
earth to record against them.
05-32:1 Give
ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O
earth, the words of my mouth.
06-4:10 For the priests which bare the ark
stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD commanded
Joshua to speak unto the people, according to
all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hasted and passed over.
06-20:2 Speak
to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge, whereof
I spake unto you by the hand of Moses:
06-22:24 And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your
children might speak unto our children, saying,
What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?
07-5:10 Speak,
ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
07-6:39 And
Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but
this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all
the ground let there be dew.
07-9:2 Speak, I pray you, in the ears of all the men of
Shechem, Whether is better for you,
either that all the sons of Jerubbaal, which
are threescore and ten persons, reign over you, or that one reign over you?
remember also that I am your bone and
your flesh.
07-19:3 And
her husband arose, and went after her, to speak
friendly unto her, and to bring her
again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him
into her father’s house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced
to meet him.
07-19:30 And
it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from
the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this
day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.
07-21:13 And
the whole congregation sent some to speak to the children of Benjamin that were in the rock Rimmon, and to call
peaceably unto them.
09-3:9 Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go,
lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went
and lay down in his place.
09-3:10 And the LORD came, and stood, and
called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
09-25:17 Now therefore know and consider what
thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his
household: for he is such a son of
Belial, that a man cannot speak to him.
09-25:24 And fell at his feet, and said, Upon
me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak
in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid.
10-3:19 And Abner also spake in the ears of
Benjamin: and Abner went also to speak in the
ears of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and that seemed good to
the whole house of Benjamin.
10-3:27 And
when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside in the gate to speak with him quietly, and smote him there under the
fifth rib, that he died, for the
blood of Asahel his brother.
10-7:17 According
to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
10-13:13 And
I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one
of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak
unto the king; for he will not withhold me from thee.
10-14:3 And
come to the king, and speak on this manner unto
him. So Joab put the words in her mouth.
10-14:12 Then
the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak
one word unto my lord the king. And
he said, Say on.
10-14:13 And
the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the
people of God? for the king doth speak this thing
as one which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his
banished.
10-14:15 Now
therefore that I am come to speak of this thing
unto my lord the king, it is because
the people have made me afraid: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will
perform the request of his handmaid.
10-14:18 Then
the king answered and said unto the woman, Hide not from me, I pray thee, the
thing that I shall ask thee. And the woman said, Let my lord the king now speak.
10-17:6 And
when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel
hath spoken after this manner: shall we do after
his saying? if not; speak thou.
10-19:7 Now
therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably
unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will
not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all
the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.
10-19:10 And
Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back?
10-19:11 And
king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the
last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the speech of all Israel is
come to the king, even to his house.
10-20:16 Then
cried a wise woman out of the city, Hear, hear; say, I pray you, unto Joab,
Come near hither, that I may speak with thee.
10-20:18 Then
she spake, saying, They were wont to speak in
old time, saying, They shall surely ask counsel
at Abel: and so they ended the
matter.
11-2:17 And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king, (for he will not say
thee nay,) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.
11-2:18 And
Bathsheba said, Well; I will speak for thee unto
the king.
11-2:19 Bathsheba
therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto
him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her,
and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king’s mother;
and she sat on his right hand.
11-12:7 And
they spake unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this
day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak
good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever.
11-12:10 And
the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt
thou speak unto this people that spake unto
thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say
unto them, My little finger shall be
thicker than my father’s loins.
11-12:23 Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of
Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the
people, saying,
11-21:19 And
thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith
the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the
place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even
thine.
11-22:13 And
the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now,
the words of the prophets declare good
unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of
one of them, and speak that which is good.
11-22:14 And
Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth,
what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.
11-22:24 But
Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and
said, Which way went the spirit of the LORD from me to speak
unto thee?
12-18:19 And Rabshakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king,
the king of Assyria, What confidence is this
wherein thou trustest?
12-18:26 Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I
pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and talk not with us in the Jews’
language in the ears of the people that are
on the wall.
12-18:27 But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my
master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak
these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the
wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
12-19:10 Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom
thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the
hand of the king of Assyria.
13-17:15 According to all these words, and
according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak
unto David.
13-17:18 What can David speak more to thee for the honour of
thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant.
14-10:7 And they spake unto him, saying, If
thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak
good words to them, they will be thy servants for ever.
14-11:3 Speak
unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and
Benjamin, saying,
14-18:12 And the messenger that went to call
Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one
assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.
14-18:13 And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, even what my God
saith, that will I speak.
14-18:23 Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came
near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of
the LORD from me to speak unto thee?
14-32:17 He wrote also letters to rail on the
LORD God of Israel, and to speak against him,
saying, As the gods of the nations of other
lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand, so shall not the
God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.
16-13:24 And their children spake half in the
speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the
Jews’ language, but according to the language of each people.
17-5:14 Then said Zeresh his wife and all
his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow
speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be
hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the
thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
17-6:4 And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into
the outward court of the king’s house, to speak
unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.
18-7:11 Therefore I will not refrain my
mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit;
I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
18-8:2 How
long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the
words of thy mouth be like a strong
wind?
18-9:19 If
I speak of
strength, lo, he is strong: and if of
judgment, who shall set me a time to
plead?
18-9:35 Then would I speak,
and not fear him; but it is not so
with me.
18-10:1 My
soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
18-11:5 But
oh that God would speak, and open his lips
against thee;
18-12:8 Or
speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and
the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
18-13:3 Surely
I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to
reason with God.
18-13:7 Will
ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully
for him?
18-13:13 Hold
your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and
let come on me what will.
18-13:22 Then
call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak,
and answer thou me.
18-16:4 I
also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul’s stead, I could heap up words against
you, and shake mine head at you.
18-16:6 Though
I speak, my grief is not asswaged: and though I forbear, what am I eased?
18-18:2 How
long will it be ere ye make an end of
words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
18-21:3 Suffer
me that I may speak; and after that I have
spoken, mock on.
18-27:4 My
lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue
utter deceit.
18-32:7 I
said, Days should speak, and multitude of years
should teach wisdom.
18-32:20 I
will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open
my lips and answer.
18-33:31 Mark
well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
18-33:32 If
thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak,
for I desire to justify thee.
18-34:33 Should it be according to thy mind? he will
recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I:
therefore speak what thou knowest.
18-36:2 Suffer
me a little, and I will shew thee that I
have yet to speak on God’s behalf.
18-37:20 Shall
it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
18-41:3 Will
he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak
soft words unto thee?
18-42:4 Hear,
I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand
of thee, and declare thou unto me.
19-2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore
displeasure.
19-5:6 Thou
shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD
will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
19-12:2 They
speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
19-17:10 They
are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak
proudly.
19-28:3 Draw
me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
19-29:9 The
voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and
in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
19-31:18 Let
the lying lips be put to silence; which speak
grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
19-35:20 For
they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful
matters against them that are quiet
in the land.
19-35:28 And
my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.
19-38:12 They
also that seek after my life lay snares for
me: and they that seek my hurt speak
mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
19-40:5 Many,
O LORD my God, are thy wonderful
works which thou hast done, and thy
thoughts which are to us-ward: they
cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if
I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be
numbered.
19-41:5 Mine
enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and
his name perish?
19-45:1 My
heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the
things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
19-49:3 My
mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation
of my heart shall be of
understanding.
19-50:7 Hear,
O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I
will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
19-52:3 Thou
lovest evil more than good; and lying
rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
19-58:1 Do
ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation?
do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
19-59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them
even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
19-63:11 But
the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but
the mouth of them that speak lies shall be
stopped.
19-69:12 They
that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
19-71:10 For
mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay
wait for my soul take counsel together,
19-73:8 They
are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
19-73:15 If
I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should
offend against the generation of thy
children.
19-75:5 Lift
not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
19-77:4 Thou
holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
19-85:8 I
will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he
will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints:
but let them not turn again to folly.
19-94:4 How long shall they utter and speak
hard things? and all the workers of
iniquity boast themselves?
19-109:20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
19-115:5 They
have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they,
but they see not:
19-115:7 They
have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
19-119:23 Princes
also did sit and speak against me: but
thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
19-119:46 I
will speak of thy testimonies also before kings,
and will not be ashamed.
19-119:172 My
tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy
commandments are righteousness.
19-120:7 I
am for peace: but when I speak, they are for
war.
19-127:5 Happy
is the man that hath his quiver full
of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak
with the enemies in the gate.
19-135:16 They
have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they,
but they see not;
19-139:20 For
they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
19-145:5 I
will speak of the glorious honour of thy
majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
19-145:6 And
men shall speak
of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
19-145:11 They
shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and
talk of thy power;
19-145:21 My
mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and
let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
20-8:6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
20-8:7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
20-23:9 Speak
not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.
20-23:16 Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy
lips speak right things.
21-3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
22-7:9 And the
roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those
that are asleep to speak.
23-8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall
come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not
stand: for God is with us.
23-8:20 To
the law and to the testimony: if they speak not
according to this word, it is because
there is no light in them.
23-14:10 All
they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou
also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
23-19:18 In
that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak
the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called,
The city of destruction.
23-28:11 For
with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak
to this people.
23-29:4 And
thou shalt be brought down, and shalt
speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be
low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar
spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.
23-30:10 Which
say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right
things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy
deceits:
23-32:4 The
heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the
stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
23-32:6 For
the vile person will speak villany, and his
heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the
LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the
thirsty to fail.
23-36:11 Then
said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak,
I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it; and speak
not to us in the Jews’ language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
23-36:12 But
Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath
he not sent me to the men that
sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss
with you?
23-37:10 Thus
shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah,
saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem
shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
23-40:2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her,
that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath
received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.
23-41:1 Keep
silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
23-45:19 I
have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the
seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak
righteousness, I declare things that are right.
23-50:4 The
Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine
ear to hear as the learned.
23-52:6 Therefore
my people shall know my name: therefore they
shall know in that day that I am he
that doth speak: behold, it is I.
23-56:3 Neither
let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from
his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
23-59:4 None
calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth
for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies;
they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
23-63:1 Who
is this that cometh from Edom, with
dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious
in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
24-1:6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold,
I cannot speak: for I am a child.
24-1:7 But
the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a
child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I
command thee thou shalt speak.
24-1:17 Thou
therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak
unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound
thee before them.
24-5:5 I
will get me unto the great men, and will speak
unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the
yoke, and burst the bonds.
24-5:14 Wherefore
thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak
this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people
wood, and it shall devour them.
24-6:10 To
whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they
may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised,
and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach;
they have no delight in it.
24-7:27 Therefore
thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but
they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will
not answer thee.
24-9:5 And
they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary
themselves to commit iniquity.
24-9:22 Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall
fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and
none shall gather them.
24-10:5 They
are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they
cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
24-11:2 Hear
ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto
the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
24-12:6 For
even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously
with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not,
though they speak fair words unto thee.
24-13:12 Therefore
thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith
the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall
say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with
wine?
24-18:7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom,
to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;
24-18:9 And
at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom,
to build and to plant it;
24-18:11 Now
therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and
to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame
evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from
his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
24-18:20 Shall
evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember
that I stood before thee to speak good for them,
and to turn away thy wrath from them.
24-20:9 Then
I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak
any more in his name. But his word was
in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with
forbearing, and I could not stay.
24-22:1 Thus
saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,
24-23:16 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that
prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak
a vision of their own heart, and not
out of the mouth of the LORD.
24-23:28 The
prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let
him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the
LORD.
24-26:2 Thus
saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to
worship in the LORD’S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
24-26:8 Now
it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD
had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the
prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
24-26:15 But
know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent
blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof:
for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak
all these words in your ears.
24-27:9 Therefore
hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers,
nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak
unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
24-27:14 Therefore
hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak
unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a
lie unto you.
24-28:7 Nevertheless
hear thou now this word that I speak in thine
ears, and in the ears of all the people;
24-29:24 Thus shalt thou also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,
24-32:4 And
Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but
shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall
behold his eyes;
24-34:2 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak
to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will
give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with
fire:
24-34:3 And
thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered
into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and
he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and
thou shalt go to Babylon.
24-35:2 Go
unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto
them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and
give them wine to drink.
24-38:20 But
Jeremiah said, They shall not deliver thee.
Obey, I beseech thee, the voice of the LORD, which I speak unto thee: so it shall be well unto thee, and
thy soul shall live.
24-39:16 Go
and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon
this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee.
26-2:1 And he said unto me, Son of man,
stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
26-2:7 And
thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether
they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
26-3:1 Moreover
he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
26-3:4 And
he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
26-3:10 Moreover
he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak
unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.
26-3:11 And
go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
26-3:27 But
when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth,
and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him
hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
26-11:5 And
the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak;
Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the
things that come into your mind, every
one of them.
26-12:25 For
I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged:
for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it,
saith the Lord GOD.
26-14:4 Therefore
speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his
heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and
cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the
multitude of his idols;
26-17:2 Son
of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable
unto the house of Israel;
26-20:3 Son
of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
not be enquired of by you.
26-20:27 Therefore,
son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have
blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.
26-20:49 Then
said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak
parables?
26-24:21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the
desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your
daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
26-24:27 In
that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign
unto them; and they shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-29:3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt,
the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My
river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
26-31:2 Son
of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to
his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?
26-32:21 The
strong among the mighty shall speak to him out
of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie
uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
26-33:2 Son
of man, speak to the children of thy people, and
say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land
take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
26-33:8 When
I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou
shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn
the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall
die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-33:10 Therefore,
O thou son of man, speak unto the house of
Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our
transgressions and our sins be upon
us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
26-33:24 Son
of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the
land: but we are many; the land is
given us for inheritance.
26-33:30 Also,
thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by
the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak
one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear
what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.
26-37:18 And
when the children of thy people shall speak unto
thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak
unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble
yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do
sacrifice for you, even a great
sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
27-2:9 But if ye will not make known unto
me the dream, there is but one decree
for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore
tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation
thereof.
27-3:29 Therefore
I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a
dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of
the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into
his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
27-10:11 And
he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I
now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
27-10:19 And
said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken
unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak;
for thou hast strengthened me.
27-11:27 And
both these kings’ hearts shall be to
do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one
table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
27-11:36 And
the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and
magnify himself above every god, and shall speak
marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the
indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
28-2:14 Therefore, behold, I will allure
her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak
comfortably unto her.
35-2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it;
because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
36-3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do
iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a
deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and
none shall make them afraid.
37-2:2 Speak
now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the
son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
37-2:21 Speak
to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the
earth;
38-2:4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be
inhabited as towns without walls for
the multitude of men and cattle therein:
38-6:12 And speak
unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose
name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow
up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
38-7:3 And
to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts,
and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating
myself, as I have done these so many years?
38-7:5 Speak
unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and
mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even
those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?
38-8:16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak
ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and
peace in your gates:
38-9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from
Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and
he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his
dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
40-8:8 The centurion answered and said,
Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
40-10:19 But
when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour
what ye shall speak.
40-10:20 For
it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your
Father which speaketh in you.
40-10:27 What
I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
40-12:34 O
generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak
good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
40-12:36 But
I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak,
they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
40-12:46 While
he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother
and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak
with him.
40-12:47 Then
one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring
to speak with thee.
40-13:13 Therefore
speak I to them in parables: because they seeing
see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
40-15:31 Insomuch
that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak,
the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they
glorified the God of Israel.
41-1:34 And he healed many that were sick of
divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
41-2:7 Why
doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
41-7:37 And
were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh
both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
41-9:39 But
Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my
name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
41-12:1 And
he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set
an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a
tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.
41-13:11 But
when they shall lead you, and deliver
you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak,
neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that
speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
41-14:71 But
he began to curse and to swear, saying, I
know not this man of whom ye speak.
41-16:17 And
these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out
devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
42-1:19 And the angel answering said unto
him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
42-1:20 And,
behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak,
until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not
my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
42-1:22 And
when he came out, he could not speak unto them:
and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned
unto them, and remained speechless.
42-4:41 And
devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son
of God. And he rebuking them suffered
them not to speak: for they knew that he was
Christ.
42-6:26 Woe
unto you, when all men shall speak well of you!
for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
42-7:15 And
he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And
he delivered him to his mother.
42-7:24 And
when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak
unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to
see? A reed shaken with the wind?
42-11:53 And
as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
42-12:10 And
whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of
man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy
Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
42-12:13 And
one of the company said unto him, Master, speak
to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
42-20:9 Then
began he to speak to the people this parable; A
certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a
far country for a long time.
43-1:37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
43-1:40 One
of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s
brother.
43-3:11 Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do
know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
43-4:26 Jesus
saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
43-6:63 It
is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they
are spirit, and they are life.
43-7:17 If
any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God,
or whether I speak
of myself.
43-8:26 I
have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I
speak to the world those things which I have
heard of him.
43-8:28 Then
said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know
that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my
Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
43-8:38 I
speak that which I have seen with my Father: and
ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
43-9:21 But
by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know
not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for
himself.
43-12:49 For
I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a
commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
43-12:50 And
I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I
speak.
43-13:18 I
speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen:
but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath
lifted up his heel against me.
43-14:10 Believest
thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak
not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
43-16:13 Howbeit
when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he
shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he
shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
43-16:25 These
things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no
more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall
shew you plainly of the Father.
43-17:13 And
now come I to thee; and these things I speak in
the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
44-2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy
Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as
the Spirit gave them utterance.
44-2:6 Now
when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded,
because that every man heard them speak in his
own language.
44-2:7 And
they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all
these which speak Galilaeans?
44-2:11 Cretes
and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our
tongues the wonderful works of God.
44-2:29 Men
and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both
dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
44-4:17 But
that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that
they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
44-4:18 And
they called them, and commanded them not to speak
at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
44-4:20 For
we cannot but speak the things which we have
seen and heard.
44-4:29 And
now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with
all boldness they may speak thy word,
44-5:20 Go,
stand and speak in the temple to the people all
the words of this life.
44-5:40 And
to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should
not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
44-6:11 Then
they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak
blasphemous words against Moses, and against
God.
44-6:13 And
set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and
the law:
44-10:32 Send
therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged
in the house of one Simon a tanner by
the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak
unto thee.
44-10:46 For
they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify
God. Then answered Peter,
44-11:15 And
as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on
them, as on us at the beginning.
44-14:9 The
same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding
him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
44-18:9 Then
spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
44-18:26 And
he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom
when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
44-21:37 And
as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?
44-21:39 But
Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew
of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a
citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
44-23:5 Then
said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is
written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler
of thy people.
44-24:10 Then
Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak,
answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto
this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
44-26:1 Then
Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak
for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself:
44-26:25 But
he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak
forth the words of truth and soberness.
44-26:26 For
the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak
freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for
this thing was not done in a corner.
44-28:20 For
this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel
I am bound with this chain.
45-3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend
the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
45-6:19 I
speak after the manner of men because of the
infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to
uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members
servants to righteousness unto holiness.
45-7:1 Know
ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know
the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
45-11:13 For
I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the
apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
45-15:18 For
I will not dare to speak of any of those things which
Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
46-1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak
the same thing, and that there be no
divisions among you; but that ye be
perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
46-2:6 Howbeit
we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet
not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to
nought:
46-2:7 But
we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
46-2:13 Which
things also we speak, not in the words which
man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual
things with spiritual.
46-3:1 And
I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto
spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as
unto babes in Christ.
46-6:5 I
speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not
a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his
brethren?
46-7:6 But
I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.
46-7:12 But
to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any
brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him,
let him not put her away.
46-7:35 And
this I speak for your own profit; not that I may
cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend
upon the Lord without distraction.
46-10:15 I
speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.
46-12:30 Have
all the gifts of healing? do all speak with
tongues? do all interpret?
46-13:1 Though
I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have not charity, I am become as sounding
brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
46-14:6 Now,
brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you,
except I shall speak to you either by revelation,
or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
46-14:9 So
likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how
shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak
into the air.
46-14:18 I
thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye
all:
46-14:19 Yet
in the church I had rather speak five words with
my understanding, that by my voice I
might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
46-14:21 In
the law it is written, With men of other
tongues and other lips will I speak unto this
people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.
46-14:23 If
therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or
unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
46-14:27 If
any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by
two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
46-14:28 But
if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
46-14:29 Let
the prophets speak two or three, and let the
other judge.
46-14:34 Let
your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they
are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
46-14:35 And
if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a
shame for women to speak in the church.
46-14:39 Wherefore,
brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak
with tongues.
46-15:34 Awake
to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to
your shame.
47-2:17 For we are not as many, which
corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of
God speak we in Christ.
47-4:13 We
having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and
therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
47-6:13 Now
for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
47-7:3 I
speak not this
to condemn you: for I have said
before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you.
47-8:8 I
speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the
forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
47-11:17 That
which I speak, I speak
it not after the Lord, but as it were
foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
47-11:21 I
speak as concerning reproach, as though we had
been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak
foolishly,) I am bold also.
47-11:23 Are
they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in
stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
47-12:19 Again,
think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak
before God in Christ: but we do all
things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
48-3:15 Brethren, I speak
after the manner of men; Though it be but
a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed,
no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
49-4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are
members one of another.
49-5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in
secret.
49-5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
49-6:20 For which I am an ambassador in
bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I
ought to speak.
50-1:14 And many of the brethren in the
Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
50-4:11 Not that I speak
in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
51-4:3 Withal praying also for us, that
God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak
the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
51-4:4 That I may make it manifest, as I
ought to speak.
52-1:8 For from you sounded out the word
of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your
faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
52-2:2 But even after that we had suffered
before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in
our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with
much contention.
52-2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be
put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak;
not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
52-2:16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to
fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
54-2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher,
and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles
in faith and verity.
54-5:14 I will therefore that the younger
women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the
adversary to speak reproachfully.
56-2:1 But speak
thou the things which become sound doctrine:
56-2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man
despise thee.
56-3:2 To speak
evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle,
shewing all meekness unto all men.
58-2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put
in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
58-6:9 But, beloved, we are persuaded
better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
58-9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory
shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak
particularly.
59-1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let
every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow
to wrath:
59-2:12 So speak
ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
59-4:11 Speak
not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother,
speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou
art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
60-2:12 Having your conversation honest
among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak
against you as evildoers, they may by your
good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
60-3:10 For he that will love life, and see
good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
60-3:16 Having a good conscience; that,
whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers,
they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
60-4:11 If any man speak,
let him speak
as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all
things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion
for ever and ever. Amen.
61-2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the
flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not
afraid to speak evil of dignities.
61-2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts,
made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the
things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own
corruption;
61-2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were
clean escaped from them who live in error.
62-4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
63-1:12 Having many things to write unto
you, I would not write with paper and
ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak
face to face, that our joy may be full.
64-1:14 But I trust I shall shortly see
thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
65-1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh,
despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
65-1:10 But these speak
evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as
brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
66-2:24 But unto you
I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and
which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak;
I will put upon you none other burden.
66-13:15 And he had
power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast
should both speak, and cause that as many as
would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
