23-63:10 But
they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
23-63:11 Then
he remembered the days of old, Moses, and
his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the
sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is
he that put his holy Spirit within him?
42-11:13 If ye then,
being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall
your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them
that ask him?
49-1:13 In whom
ye also trusted, after that ye heard
the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
49-4:30 And
grieve not the holy Spirit
of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
52-4:8 He
therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto
us his holy Spirit.

03-19:31 Regard not
them that have familiar spirits, neither seek
after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am
the LORD your God.
03-20:6 And the soul
that turneth after such as have familiar spirits,
and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against
that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
04-16:22 And they
fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits
of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the
congregation?
04-27:16 Let the LORD,
the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man
over the congregation,
05-18:11 Or a
charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits,
or a wizard, or a necromancer.
09-28:3 Now
Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even
in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.
09-28:9 And
the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath
cut off those that have familiar spirits, and
the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life,
to cause me to die?
12-21:6 And
he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used
enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits
and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
12-23:24 Moreover
the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the
idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in
Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law
which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of
the LORD.
19-104:4 Who
maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a
flaming fire:
20-16:2 All
the ways of a man are clean in his
own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
23-8:19 And
when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter:
should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
23-19:3 And
the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst
thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the
idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
38-6:5 And
the angel answered and said unto me, These are
the four spirits of the heavens, which go
forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
40-8:16 When the
even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and
he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
40-10:1 And when he
had called unto him his twelve
disciples, he gave them power against unclean
spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all
manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
40-12:45 Then goeth
he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits
more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the
first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
41-1:27 And they
were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What
thing is this? what new doctrine is this?
for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits,
and they do obey him.
41-3:11 And
unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down
before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
41-5:13 And
forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits
went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep
place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
41-6:7 And he
called unto him the twelve, and began
to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
42-4:36 And they
were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he
commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come
out.
42-6:18 And they
that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they
were healed.
42-7:21 And in
that same hour he cured many of their infirmities
and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
42-8:2 And
certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits
and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
42-10:20 Notwithstanding
in this rejoice not, that the spirits are
subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
42-11:26 Then goeth
he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in,
and dwell there: and the last state of
that man is worse than the first.
44-5:16 There
came also a multitude out of the
cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were
vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed
every one.
44-8:7 For
unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came
out of many that were possessed with
them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
44-19:12 So that
from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the
diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits
went out of them.
44-19:13 Then
certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which
had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus,
saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
46-12:10 To
another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
46-14:32 And
the spirits of the prophets are subject to the
prophets.
54-4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter
times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
58-1:7 And of
the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits,
and his ministers a flame of fire.
58-1:14 Are they
not all ministering spirits, sent forth to
minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
58-12:9 Furthermore
we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence:
shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
58-12:23 To the
general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to
God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just
men made perfect,
60-3:19 By which
also he went and preached unto the spirits in
prison;
62-4:1 Beloved,
believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false
prophets are gone out into the world.
66-1:4 John to
the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be
unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to
come; and from the seven Spirits which are
before his throne;
66-3:1 And unto
the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the
seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I
know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
66-4:5 And out
of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning
before the throne, which are the seven Spirits
of God.
66-5:6 And I
beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the
midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and
seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God
sent forth into all the earth.
66-16:13 And I saw
three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and
out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
66-16:14 For they
are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth
and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God
Almighty.

28-9:7 The days of visitation are come,
the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a
fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.
45-1:11 For I long to see you, that I may
impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end
ye may be established;
45-7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
45-15:27 It hath pleased them verily; and their
debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto
them in carnal things.
46-2:13 Which
things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which
the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual
things with spiritual.
46-2:15 But he
that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he
himself is judged of no man.
46-3:1 And I,
brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual,
but as unto carnal, even as unto
babes in Christ.
46-9:11 If we
have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap
your carnal things?
46-10:3 And did
all eat the same spiritual meat;
46-10:4 And did
all drink the same spiritual drink: for they
drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them:
and that Rock was Christ.
46-12:1 Now
concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
46-14:1 Follow
after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
46-14:12 Even so
ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the
edifying of the church.
46-14:37 If any man
think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let
him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of
the Lord.
46-15:44 It is sown
a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual
body.
46-15:46 Howbeit
that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward
that which is spiritual.
48-6:1 Brethren,
if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual,
restore such an one in the spirit of
meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
49-1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in
Christ:
49-5:19 Speaking
to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
49-6:12 For we
wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
51-1:9 For this
cause we also, since the day we heard it,
do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with
the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding;
51-3:16 Let the word
of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
60-2:5 Ye also,
as lively stones, are built up a spiritual
house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual
sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

45-8:6 For to
be carnally minded is death; but to
be spiritually minded is life and peace.
46-2:14 But
the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit
of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
66-11:8 And their
dead bodies shall lie in the street of
the great city, which spiritually is called
Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

03-15:8 And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his
clothes, and bathe himself in water,
and be unclean until the even.
04-12:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, If her
father had but spit in her face, should she not
be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after
that let her be received in again.
05-25:9 Then shall his brother’s wife come
unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot,
and spit in his face, and shall answer and say,
So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother’s house.
18-30:10 They abhor me, they flee far from me,
and spare not to spit in my face.
40-26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,
40-27:30 And they spit
upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
41-7:33 And he took him aside from the
multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit,
and touched his tongue;
41-8:23 And he took the blind man by the
hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit
on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
41-10:34 And they shall mock him, and shall
scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall
kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
41-14:65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him,
and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms
of their hands.
41-15:19 And they smote him on the head with a
reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.

me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle?
43-9:6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on
the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he
anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

01-49:27 Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall
devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.
02-3:22 But
every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her
house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your
daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.
02-15:9 The
enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will
draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
04-31:9 And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and
their little ones, and took the spoil of all
their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.
04-31:11 And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.
04-31:12 And they brought the captives, and
the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar
the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp
at the plains of Moab, which are by
Jordan near Jericho.
04-31:53 (For
the men of war had taken spoil, every man
for himself.)
05-2:35 Only the cattle we took for a prey
unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities
which we took.
05-3:7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.
05-13:16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and
shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil
thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it
shall not be built again.
05-20:14 But the women, and the little ones,
and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt
thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil
of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
06-8:2 And thou shalt do to Ai and her
king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil
thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay
thee an ambush for the city behind it.
06-8:27 Only the cattle and the spoil of that city Israel took for a prey unto
themselves, according unto the word of the LORD which he commanded Joshua.
06-11:14 And all the spoil
of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto
themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had
destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.
06-22:8 And he spake unto them, saying, Return
with much riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and
with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide
the spoil of your enemies with your brethren.
07-5:30 Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a
damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of
divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of
needlework on both sides, meet for
the necks of them that take the spoil?
07-14:19 And the spirit of the LORD came upon
him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which
expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s
house.
09-14:30 How much more, if haply the people
had eaten freely to day of the spoil of their
enemies which they found? for had there not been now a much greater slaughter
among the Philistines?
09-14:32 And the people flew upon the spoil, and took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew them on the ground: and the people did
eat them with the blood.
09-14:36 And Saul said, Let us go down after
the Philistines by night, and spoil them until
the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do
whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the priest, Let us draw near
hither unto God.
09-15:19 Wherefore then didst thou not obey
the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil,
and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?
09-15:21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which
should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in
Gilgal.
09-30:16 And when he had brought him down,
behold, they were spread abroad upon
all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the
Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.
09-30:19 And there was nothing lacking to
them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing
that they had taken to them: David recovered all.
09-30:20 And David took all the flocks and the
herds, which they drave before those other cattle, and said, This is David’s spoil.
09-30:22 Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with
David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil
that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they
may lead them away, and depart.

sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a
present for you of the spoil of the enemies of
the LORD;
10-3:22 And, behold, the servants of David
and Joab came from pursuing a troop,
and brought in a great spoil with them: but
Abner was not with David in Hebron;
for he had sent him away, and he was gone in peace.
10-8:12 Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the
children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
10-12:30 And he took their king’s crown from
off his head, the weight whereof was a
talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David’s head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.
10-23:10 He arose, and smote the Philistines
until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD
wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.
12-3:23 And they said, This is blood: the kings are surely slain,
and they have smitten one another: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil.
12-21:14 And I will forsake the remnant of
mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they
shall become a prey and a spoil to all their
enemies;
13-20:2 And David took the crown of their
king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it
was set upon David’s head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.
14-14:13 And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar:
and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for
they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away
very much spoil.
14-14:14 And they smote all the cities round
about Gerar; for the fear of the LORD came upon them: and they spoiled all the
cities; for there was exceeding much spoil in
them.
14-15:11 And they offered unto the LORD the
same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand
sheep.
14-20:25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people
came to take away the spoil of them, they found
among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels,
which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and
they were three days in gathering of the spoil,
it was so much.
14-24:23 And it came to pass at the end of the
year, that the host of Syria came up
against him: and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the
princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus.
14-25:13 But the soldiers of the army which
Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities
of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand of them,
and took much spoil.
14-28:8 And the children of Israel carried
away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and
daughters, and took also away much spoil from
them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
14-28:14 So the armed men left the captives
and the spoil before the princes and all the
congregation.
14-28:15 And the men which were expressed by
name rose up, and took the captives, and with the spoil
clothed all that were naked among them, and arrayed them, and shod them, and
gave them to eat and to drink, and anointed them, and carried all the feeble of
them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their
brethren: then they returned to Samaria.
15-9:7 Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have
we, our kings, and our priests, been
delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity,
and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day.
17-3:13 And the letters were sent by posts
into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all
Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the
month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
17-8:11 Wherein the king granted the Jews
which were in every city to gather
themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to
cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault
them, both little ones and women, and
to take the spoil
of them for a prey,
17-9:10 The ten sons of Haman the son of
Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews, slew they; but on the spoil laid they not their hand.
18-29:17 And I brake the jaws of the wicked,
and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.
19-44:10 Thou makest us to turn back from the
enemy: and they which hate us spoil for
themselves.

she that tarried at home divided the spoil.
19-89:41 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.
19-109:11 Let the extortioner catch all that he
hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
19-119:162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that
findeth great spoil.
20-1:13 We shall find all precious
substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
20-16:19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
20-22:23 For the LORD will plead their cause,
and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
20-24:15 Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous;
spoil not his resting place:
20-31:11 The heart of her husband doth safely
trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
22-2:15 Take us
the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the
vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
23-3:14 The LORD will enter into judgment
with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up
the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
23-8:4 For before the child shall have
knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king
of Assyria.
23-9:3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy
before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when
they divide the spoil.
23-10:6 I will send him against an
hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a
charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey,
and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
23-11:14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders
of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil
them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and
the children of Ammon shall obey them.
23-17:14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil
us, and the lot of them that rob us.
23-33:1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest
