50-PHILIPPIANS
50-1:27 Only
let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I
come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand
fast in one spirit, with one mind striving
together for the faith of the gospel;
51-1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me
mightily.
58-12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood,

05-17:8 If there arise a matter too hard for
thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy
gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy
God shall choose;
05-19:5 As when a man goeth into the wood
with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the ax to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from
the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one
of those cities, and live:

have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye
might know that I am the LORD your

be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is
with thee whithersoever thou goest.

nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage:

my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go
out, and to come in.
06-17:13 Yet it came to pass, when the
children of Israel were waxen strong, that they
put the Canaanites to tribute; but did not utterly drive them out.
06-17:18 But the mountain shall be thine; for
it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it
down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the
Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and
though they be strong.
06-19:29 And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings

thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;
11-8:42 (For they shall hear of thy great
name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy
stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;
11-19:11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon
the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces

face, and I was troubled.

speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house
of defence to save me.
19-31:21 Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

art my strong
refuge.

right hand, upon the son of man whom thou
madest strong for thyself.

LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

20-21:14 A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and
a reward in the bosom strong wrath.
20-24:5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge
increaseth strength.
20-30:25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they
prepare their meat in the summer;
20-31:4 It
is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not
for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong
drink:
20-31:6 Give strong
drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy
hearts.
21-9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun,
that the race is not to the swift,
nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread
to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of
skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
21-12:3 In the day when the keepers of the
house shall tremble, and the strong men shall
bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that
look out of the windows be darkened,
22-8:6 Set me
as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong
as death; jealousy is cruel as the
grave: the coals thereof are coals of
fire, which hath a most vehement
flame.
23-1:31 And the strong
shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn
together, and none shall quench them.
23-5:11 Woe unto them that rise up early in
the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
23-5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23-8:7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord
bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong
and many, even the king of Assyria,
and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all
his banks:
23-8:11 For the LORD spake thus to me with a
strong hand, and instructed me that I should not
walk in the way of this people, saying,
23-17:9 In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost
branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be
desolation.
23-23:11 He stretched out his hand over the
sea, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the
merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof.
23-24:9 They shall not drink wine with a
song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that
drink it.
23-25:3 Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible
nations shall fear thee.
23-26:1 In that day shall this song be sung
in the land of Judah; We have a strong city;
salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
23-27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore
and great and strong sword shall punish
leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he
shall slay the dragon that is in the
sea.
23-28:2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which
as a tempest of hail and a
destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to
the earth with the hand.
23-28:7 But they also have erred through
wine, and through strong drink are out of the
way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong
drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
23-28:22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest
your bands be made strong: for I have heard from
the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
23-29:9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye
out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
23-31:1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt
for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because
they are very strong; but they look not unto the
Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
23-31:9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid
of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is
in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
23-35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong,
fear not: behold, your God will come with
vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save
you.
23-40:10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and
his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
23-40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold
who hath created these things, that
bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness
of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
23-41:21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD;
bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.
23-53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall
divide the spoil with the strong; because he
hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the
transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the
transgressors.
23-56:12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
23-60:22 A little one shall become a thousand,
and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will
hasten it in his time.
24-8:16 The snorting of his horses was heard
from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the
land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.
24-21:5 And I myself will fight against you
with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm,
even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.
24-32:21 And hast brought forth thy people
Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with
great terror;
24-47:3 At the noise of the stamping of the
hoofs of his strong horses, at the rushing of his chariots, and at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back
to their children for feebleness of
hands;
24-48:14 How say ye, We are mighty and strong men for the
war?
24-48:17 All ye that are about him, bemoan
him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong
staff broken, and the beautiful rod!
24-48:18 Thou daughter that dost inhabit
Dibon, come down from thy glory, and
sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, and he shall destroy thy strong holds.
24-48:41 Kerioth is taken, and the strong holds are surprised, and the mighty men’s
hearts in Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
24-49:19 Behold, he shall come up like a lion
from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from
her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for
who is like me? and who will appoint
me the time? and who is that shepherd
that will stand before me?
24-50:34 Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead
their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of
Babylon.
24-50:44 Behold, he shall come up like a lion
from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong:
but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I
may appoint over her? for who is like
me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
24-51:12 Set up the standard upon the walls of
Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the
watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that
which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.
25-2:2 The Lord hath swallowed up all the
habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the
strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath
brought them down to the ground: he
hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.
25-2:5 The Lord was as an enemy: he hath
swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed
his strong holds, and hath increased in the
daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.
26-3:8 Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
26-3:14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took
me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of
the LORD was strong upon me.
26-7:24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of
the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of
the strong to cease; and their holy places shall
be defiled.
26-19:11 And she had strong
rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among
the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her
branches.
26-19:12 But she was plucked up in fury, she
was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire
consumed them.
26-19:14 And fire is gone out of a rod of her
branches, which hath devoured her
fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a
lamentation.
26-22:14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine
hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal
with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and
will do it.
26-26:11 With the hoofs of his horses shall he
tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.
26-26:17 And they shall take up a lamentation
for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast
strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants,
which cause their terror to be on all
that haunt it!
26-30:21 Son of man, I have broken the arm of
Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a
roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the
sword.
26-30:22 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of
Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and
that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
26-32:21 The strong
among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that
help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
26-34:16 I will seek that which was lost, and
bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but
I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will
feed them with judgment.
27-2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces
and subdueth all things: and as iron
that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
27-2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part
of iron, and part of clay, so the
kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly
broken.
27-4:11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven,
and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:
27-4:20 The tree that thou sawest, which
grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto
the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;
27-4:22 It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong:
for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the
end of the earth.
27-7:7 After this I saw in the night
visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it
devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and
it was diverse from all the beasts
that were before it; and it had ten
horns.
27-8:8 Therefore the he goat waxed very
great: and when he was strong, the great horn
was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of
heaven.
27-10:19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear
not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong.
And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord
speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
27-11:5 And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of
his princes; and he shall be strong above him,
and have dominion; his dominion shall be a
great dominion.
27-11:23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully:
for he shall come up, and shall become strong
with a small people.
27-11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon
the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he
shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
27-11:32 And such as do wickedly against the
covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God
shall be strong, and do exploits.
27-11:39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall
acknowledge and increase with glory:
and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
29-1:6 For a nation is come up upon my
land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the
cheek teeth of a great lion.
29-2:2 A day of darkness and of
gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon
the mountains: a great people and a strong;
there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
29-2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the
tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that
devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in
battle array.
29-2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice
before his army: for his camp is very
great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the
LORD is great and very terrible; and
who can abide it?
29-3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords,
and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
30-2:9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before
them, whose height was like the
height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from
above, and his roots from beneath.
30-2:14 Therefore the flight shall perish
from the swift, and the strong shall not
strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:
30-5:9 That strengtheneth the spoiled
against the strong, so that the spoiled shall
come against the fortress.
33-2:11 If a man walking in the spirit and
falsehood do lie, saying, I will
prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink;
he shall even be the prophet of this people.
33-4:3 And he shall judge among many
people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and
they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into
pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall
they learn war any more.
33-4:7 And I will make her that halted a
remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong
nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even
for ever.
33-4:8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the
strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee
shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter
of Jerusalem.
33-5:11 And I will cut off the cities of thy
land, and throw down all thy strong holds:
33-6:2 Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’S
controversy, and ye strong foundations of the
earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with
Israel.
34-1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of
trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
34-2:1 He that dasheth in pieces is come up
before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily.
34-3:12 All thy strong
holds shall be like fig trees with
the firstripe figs: if they be shaken, they shall even fall into the mouth of
the eater.
34-3:14 Draw thee waters for the siege,
fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and
tread the morter, make strong the brickkiln.
35-1:10 And they shall scoff at the kings,
and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
37-2:4 Yet now be strong,
O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O
Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong,
all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
38-8:9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let
your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days
these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the
foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be
built.
38-8:13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen,
O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a
blessing: fear not, but let your
hands be strong.
38-8:22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in
Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.
38-9:3 And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and
fine gold as the mire of the streets.
38-9:12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I
declare that I will render double
unto thee;
40-12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he
first bind the strong man? and then he will
spoil his house.
41-3:27 No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he
will first bind the strong man; and then he will
spoil his house.
42-1:15 For he shall be great in the sight
of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong
drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.

of his shewing unto Israel.

God was upon him.
42-11:21 When a strong
man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
44-3:16 And his name through faith in his
name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and
know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in
the presence of you all.
45-4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God
through unbelief; but was strong in faith,
giving glory to God;
45-15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and
not to please ourselves.
46-4:10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak,
but ye are strong;
ye are honourable, but we are despised.

quit you like men, be strong.
47-10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God
to the pulling down of strong holds;)

in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s
sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

them strong delusion, that they should believe a
lie:

58-5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he
had offered up prayers and supplications with strong
crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard
in that he feared;
58-5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be
teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such
as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
58-5:14 But strong
meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to
discern both good and evil.

which it was impossible for God to
lie, we might have a strong consolation, who
have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the
armies of the aliens.
62-2:14 I have written unto you, fathers,

shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she
shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
