01-GENESIS
01-3:22 And
the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and
evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take
also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
01-6:21 And
take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten,
and thou shalt gather it to thee; and
it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
01-7:2 Of
every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by
sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
01-12:19 Why
saidst thou, She is my sister? so I
might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and
go thy way.
01-13:9 Is not the whole land before thee?
separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou
wilt take the left hand, then I will go to
the right; or if thou depart to the
right hand, then I will go to the left.
01-14:21 And
the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
01-14:23 That
I will not take
from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
01-14:24 Save
only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went
with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take
their portion.
01-15:9 And
he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three
years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and
a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
01-19:15 And
when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here;
lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
01-19:19 Behold
now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy,
which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the
mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
01-21:30 And
he said, For these seven ewe lambs
shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a
witness unto me, that I have digged this well.
01-22:2 And
he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get
thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one
of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
01-23:13 And
he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if
thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear
me: I will give thee money for the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there.
01-24:3 And
I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the
earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my
son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:
01-24:4 But
thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take
a wife unto my son Isaac.
01-24:7 The
LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of
my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy
seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt
take a wife unto my son from thence.
01-24:37 And
my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take
a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell:
01-24:38 But
thou shalt go unto my father’s house, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son.
01-24:40 And
he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee,
and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife
for my son of my kindred, and of my father’s house:
01-24:48 And
I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my
master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take
my master’s brother’s daughter unto his son.
01-24:51 Behold,
Rebekah is before thee, take her, and
go, and let her be thy master’s son’s wife, as the LORD hath spoken.
01-27:3 Now
therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy
quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take
me some venison;
01-27:46 And
Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth:
if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth,
such as these which are of the
daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?
01-28:1 And
Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou
shalt not take a wife of the daughters of
Canaan.
01-28:2 Arise,
go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother’s father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban
thy mother’s brother.
01-28:6 When
Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed
him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take
a wife of the daughters of Canaan;
01-30:15 And
she said unto her, Is it a small
matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son’s mandrakes also? And Rachel said,
Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son’s mandrakes.
01-31:24 And
God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or
bad.
01-31:29 It
is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake
unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that
thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
01-31:31 And
Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Peradventure
thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from
me.
01-31:32 With
whomsoever thou findest thy gods, let him not live: before our brethren discern
thou what is thine with me, and take it to
thee. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them.
01-31:50 If
thou shalt afflict my daughters, or if thou shalt take
other wives beside my daughters, no
man is with us; see, God is witness betwixt me and thee.
01-33:11 Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to
thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And
he urged him, and he took it.
01-33:12 And
he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go,
and I will go before thee.
01-34:9 And
make ye marriages with us, and give
your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto
you.
01-34:16 Then
will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take
your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one
people.
01-34:17 But
if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.
01-34:21 These
men are peaceable with us; therefore
let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give
them our daughters.
01-38:23 And
Judah said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid, and thou
hast not found her.
01-41:34 Let
Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint
officers over the land, and take up the fifth
part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
01-42:33 And
the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that ye are true men; leave one of your brethren here
with me, and take food for the famine of your households, and be gone:
01-42:36 And
Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not,
and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away:
all these things are against me.
01-43:11 And
their father Israel said unto them, If it
must be so now, do this; take of the best
fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little
balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:
01-43:12 And
take double money in your hand; and the money
that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight:
01-43:13 Take also your brother, and arise, go again unto the
man:
01-43:18 And
the men were afraid, because they were brought into Joseph’s house; and they
said, Because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first time are
we brought in; that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, and take us for bondmen, and our asses.
01-44:29 And
if ye take this also from me, and mischief befall
him, ye shall bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.
01-45:18 And
take your father and your households, and come
unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat
the fat of the land.
01-45:19 Now
thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons
out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring
your father, and come.
02-2:9 And
Pharaoh’s daughter said unto her, Take this
child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it.
02-4:4 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take
it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod
in his hand:
02-4:9 And
it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither
hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of
the water of the river, and pour it upon
the dry land: and the water which
thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
02-4:17 And
thou shalt take this rod in thine hand,
wherewith thou shalt do signs.
02-6:7 And
I will take you to me for a people, and I will
be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am
the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the
Egyptians.
02-7:9 When
Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt
say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
02-7:15 Get
thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou
shalt stand by the river’s brink against he come; and the rod which was turned
to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.
02-7:19 And
the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take
thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their
streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of
water, that they may become blood; and that
there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.
02-8:8 Then
Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I
will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.
02-9:8 And
the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to
you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the
heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.
02-10:17 Now
therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD
your God, that he may take away from me this
death only.
02-10:26 Our
cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for
thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God;
and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
02-10:28 And
Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take
heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.
02-12:3 Speak
ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house
of their fathers, a lamb for an
house:
02-12:4 And
if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next
unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his
eating shall make your count for the lamb.
02-12:5 Your
lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out
from the sheep, or from the goats:
02-12:7 And
they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the
upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
02-12:21 Then
Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill
the passover.
02-12:22 And
ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel
and the two side posts with the blood that is
in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until
the morning.
02-12:32 Also
take your flocks and your herds, as ye have
said, and be gone; and bless me also.
02-15:14 The
people shall hear, and be afraid:
sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of
Palestina.
02-15:15 Then
the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan
shall melt away.
02-16:16 This
is the thing which the LORD hath
commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every
man, according to the number of your
persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.
02-16:33 And
Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an
omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your
generations.
02-17:5 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take
with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the
river, take in thine hand, and go.
02-19:12 And
thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into
the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be
surely put to death:
02-20:7 Thou
shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in
vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
02-21:10 If
he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not
diminish.
02-21:14 But
if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou
shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.
02-22:26 If
thou at all take thy neighbour’s raiment to
pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
02-23:8 And
thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth
the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
02-23:25 And
ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water;
and I will take sickness away from the midst of
thee.
02-25:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that
giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take
my offering.
02-25:3 And
this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
02-26:5 Fifty
loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in
the edge of the curtain that is in
the coupling of the second; that the loops may take
hold one of another.
02-28:1 And
take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his
sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me
in the priest’s office, even Aaron,
Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.
02-28:5 And
they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and
scarlet, and fine linen.
02-28:9 And
thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on
them the names of the children of Israel:
02-29:1 And
this is the thing that thou shalt do
unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,
02-29:5 And
thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron
the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and
gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:
02-29:7 Then
shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.
02-29:12 And
thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and
put it upon the horns of the altar
with thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.
02-29:13 And
thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the
inwards, and the caul that is above
the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon
the altar.
02-29:15 Thou
shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons
shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
02-29:16 And
thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take his
blood, and sprinkle it round about
upon the altar.
02-29:19 And
thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his
sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.
02-29:20 Then
shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood,
and put it upon the tip of the right
ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb
of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle
the blood upon the altar round about.
02-29:21 And
thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing
oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and
upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with
him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’
garments with him.
02-29:22 Also
thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump,
and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder;
for it is a ram of consecration:
02-29:26 And
thou shalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s
consecration, and wave it for a wave
offering before the LORD: and it shall be thy part.
02-29:31 And
thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and
seethe his flesh in the holy place.
02-30:16 And
thou shalt take the atonement money of the
children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of
the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before
the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
02-30:23 Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure
myrrh five hundred shekels, and of
sweet cinnamon half so much, even two
hundred and fifty shekels, and of
sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,
02-30:34 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet
spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these
sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:
02-33:23 And
I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see
my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
02-34:9 And
he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray
thee, go among us; for it is a
stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
02-34:12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with
the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the
midst of thee:
02-34:16 And
thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and
their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring
after their gods.
02-35:5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD:
whosoever is of a willing heart, let
him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,
02-40:9 And
thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint
the tabernacle, and all that is therein,
and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
03-2:2 And
he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of
the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn
the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an
offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
03-2:9 And
the priest shall take from the meat offering a
memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon
the altar: it is an offering made by
fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-3:4 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is on
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take
away.
03-3:9 And
he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire
unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the
whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the
backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
03-3:10 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take
away.
03-3:15 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take
away.
03-4:5 And
the priest that is anointed shall take of the
bullock’s blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
03-4:8 And
he shall take off from it all the fat of the
bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the
fat that is upon the inwards,
03-4:9 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take
away,
03-4:19 And
he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
03-4:25 And
the priest shall take of the blood of the sin
offering with his finger, and put it upon
the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the
bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
03-4:30 And
the priest shall take of the blood thereof with
his finger, and put it upon the horns
of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the
bottom of the altar.
03-4:31 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the
fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest
shall burn it upon the altar for a
sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and
it shall be forgiven him.
03-4:34 And
the priest shall take of the blood of the sin
offering with his finger, and put it upon
the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood
thereof at the bottom of the altar:
03-4:35 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the
fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and
the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by
fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he
hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
03-5:12 Then
shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take
his handful of it, even a memorial
thereof, and burn it on the altar,
according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
03-6:10 And
the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put
upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the
fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them
beside the altar.
03-6:15 And
he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of
the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall
burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.
03-7:4 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is on
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul that is above the liver, with
the kidneys, it shall he take away:
03-8:2 Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments,
and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a
basket of unleavened bread;
03-9:2 And
he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a
sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.
03-9:3 And
unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take
ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish,
for a burnt offering;
03-10:12 And
Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were
left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of
the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the
altar: for it is most holy:
03-14:4 Then
shall the priest command to take for him that is
to be cleansed two birds alive and clean,
and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
03-14:6 As
for the living bird, he shall take it, and the
cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living
bird in the blood of the bird that was killed
over the running water:
03-14:10 And
on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs
without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three
tenth deals of fine flour for a meat
offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
03-14:12 And
the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him
for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
03-14:14 And
the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall
put it upon the tip of the right ear
of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon
the great toe of his right foot:
03-14:15 And
the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:
03-14:21 And
if he be poor, and cannot get so
much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to
make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil
for a meat offering, and a log of oil;
03-14:24 And
the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass
offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
03-14:25 And
he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of
the blood of the trespass offering, and put it
upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the
thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
03-14:40 Then
the priest shall command that they take away the
stones in which the plague is, and
they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:
03-14:42 And
they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and
he shall take other morter, and shall plaister
the house.
03-14:49 And
he shall take to cleanse the house two birds,
and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
03-14:51 And
he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop,
and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain
bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:
03-15:14 And
on the eighth day he shall take to him two
turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of
the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
03-15:29 And
on the eighth day she shall take unto her two
turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of
the tabernacle of the congregation.
03-16:5 And
he shall take of the congregation of the
children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a
burnt offering.
03-16:7 And
he shall take the two goats, and present them
before the LORD at the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation.
03-16:12 And
he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire
from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten
small, and bring it within the vail:
03-16:14 And
he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and
sprinkle it with his finger upon the
mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood
with his finger seven times.
03-16:18 And
he shall go out unto the altar that is before
the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take
of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round
about.
03-18:17 Thou
shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou
take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s
daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they
are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
03-18:18 Neither
shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside
the other in her life time.
03-20:14 And
if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with
fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
03-20:17 And
if a man shall take his sister, his father’s
daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his
nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and
they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his
sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
03-20:21 And
if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered
his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
03-21:7 They
shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
03-21:13 And
he shall take a wife in her virginity.
03-21:14 A
widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or
an harlot, these shall he not take: but he
shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
03-22:5 Or
whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man
of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever
uncleanness he hath;
03-23:40 And
ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of
goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and
willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
03-24:5 And
thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes
thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
03-25:36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy
God; that thy brother may live with thee.
03-25:46 And
ye shall take them as an inheritance for your
children after you, to inherit them for a
possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the
children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.
04-1:2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the
children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with
the number of their names, every male
by their polls;
04-1:49 Only
thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take
the sum of them among the children of Israel:
04-1:51 And
when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take
it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up:
and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
04-3:40 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children
of Israel from a month old and upward, and take
the number of their names.
04-3:41 And
thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the
firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead
of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
04-3:45 Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among
the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle;
and the Levites shall be mine: I am the
LORD.
04-3:47 Thou
shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll,
after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take
them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)
04-4:2 Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons
of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
04-4:5 And
when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of
testimony with it:
04-4:9 And
they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the
candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes,
and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
04-4:12 And
they shall take all the instruments of ministry,
wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’
skins, and shall put them on a bar:
04-4:13 And
they shall take away the ashes from the altar,
and spread a purple cloth thereon:
04-4:22 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout
the houses of their fathers, by their families;
04-5:17 And
the priest shall take holy water in an earthen
vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall
take, and put it into the water:
04-5:25 Then
the priest shall take the jealousy offering out
of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it
upon the altar:
04-5:26 And
the priest shall take an handful of the
offering, even the memorial thereof,
and burn it upon the altar, and
afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
04-6:18 And
the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace
offerings.
04-6:19 And
the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the
ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and
shall put them upon the hands of the
Nazarite, after the hair of his
separation is shaven:
04-7:5 Take it of
them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation;
and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his
service.
04-8:6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel,
and cleanse them.
04-8:8 Then
let them take a young bullock with his meat
offering, even fine flour mingled
with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take
for a sin offering.
04-10:6 When
ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side
shall take their journey: they shall blow an
alarm for their journeys.
04-11:17 And
I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take
of the spirit which is upon thee, and
will put it upon them; and they shall
bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
04-16:3 And
they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said
unto them, Ye take
too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the
congregation of the LORD?
04-16:6 This
do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his
company;
04-16:7 And
put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it
shall be that the man whom the LORD
doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too
much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
04-16:17 And
take every man his censer, and put incense in
them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty
censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of
you his censer.
04-16:37 Speak
unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take
up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they
are hallowed.
04-16:46 And
Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put
fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the
congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from
the LORD; the plague is begun.
04-17:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and take of every
one of them a rod according to the house of their
fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers
twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
04-17:10 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be
kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
04-18:26 Thus
speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take
of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your
inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.
04-19:4 And
Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with
his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the
congregation seven times:
04-19:6 And
the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop,
and scarlet, and cast it into the
midst of the burning of the heifer.
04-19:17 And
for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification
for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:
04-19:18 And
a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the
vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a
bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
04-20:8 Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together,
thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and
it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of
the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
04-20:25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto
mount Hor:
04-21:7 Therefore
the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against
the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
04-23:12 And
he answered and said, Must I not take heed to
speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?
04-25:4 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of
the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce
anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
04-26:2 Take the sum of all the congregation of the children
of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers’ house,
all that are able to go to war in Israel.
04-26:4 Take the sum
of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded
Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.
04-27:18 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the
son of Nun, a man in whom is the
spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
04-31:26 Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and
Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation:
04-31:29 Take it of
their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD.
04-31:30 And
of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take
one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the
flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the
charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.
04-34:18 And
ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to
divide the land by inheritance.
04-35:31 Moreover
ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a
murderer, which is guilty of death:
but he shall be surely put to death.
04-35:32 And
ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is
fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land,
until the death of the priest.
05-1:7 Turn
you, and take your journey, and go to the mount
of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh
thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and
by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the
great river, the river Euphrates.
05-1:13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among
your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
05-1:40 But
as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of
the Red sea.
05-2:4 And
command thou the people, saying, Ye are to
pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in
Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye
good heed unto yourselves therefore:
05-2:24 Rise
ye up, take your journey, and pass over the
river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of
Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it,
and contend with him in battle.
05-4:9 Only
take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul
diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest
they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons,
and thy sons’ sons;
05-4:15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye
saw no manner of similitude on the day that
the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
05-4:23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant
of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath
forbidden thee.
05-4:34 Or
hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by
signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out
arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you
in Egypt before your eyes?
05-5:11 Thou
shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in
vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless
that taketh his name in vain.
05-7:3 Neither
shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his
son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy
son.
05-7:15 And
the LORD will take away from thee all sickness,
and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee;
but will lay them upon all them that
hate thee.
05-7:25 The
graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the
silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto
thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is
an abomination to the LORD thy God.
05-10:11 And
the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they
may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto
them.
05-11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not
deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
05-12:13 Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt
offerings in every place that thou seest:
05-12:19 Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite
as long as thou livest upon the earth.
05-12:26 Only
thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall
choose.
05-12:30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by
following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou
enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods?
even so will I do likewise.
05-15:17 Then
thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he
shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do
likewise.
05-16:19 Thou
shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the
wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
05-20:7 And
what man is there that hath betrothed
a wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he
die in the battle, and another man take her.
05-20:14 But
the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of
thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
05-20:19 When
thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by
forcing an ax against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut
them down (for the tree of the field is man’s
life) to employ them in the siege:
05-21:3 And
it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even
the elders of that city shall take an heifer,
which hath not been wrought with, and which
hath not drawn in the yoke;
05-22:6 If
a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the
ground, whether they be young ones,
or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
05-22:7 But thou shalt in any wise let the dam
go, and take the young to thee; that it may be
well with thee, and that thou mayest
prolong thy days.
05-22:13 If
any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and
hate her,
05-22:15 Then
shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take
and bring forth the tokens of the
damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
05-22:18 And
the elders of that city shall take that man and
chastise him;
05-22:30 A
man shall not take his father’s wife, nor
discover his father’s skirt.
05-24:4 Her
former husband, which sent her away, may not take
her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou
shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
05-24:6 No
man shall take the nether or the upper millstone
to pledge: for he taketh a man’s life
to pledge.
05-24:8 Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe
diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach
you: as I commanded them, so ye shall
observe to do.
05-24:17 Thou
shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a
widow’s raiment to pledge:
05-25:5 If
brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of
the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband’s brother shall
go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and
perform the duty of an husband’s brother unto her.
05-25:7 And
if the man like not to take his brother’s wife,
then let his brother’s wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My
husband’s brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he
will not perform the duty of my husband’s brother.
05-25:8 Then
the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take
her;
05-26:2 That
thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of
the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth
thee, and shalt put it in a basket,
and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his
name there.
05-26:4 And
the priest shall take the basket out of thine
hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.
05-27:9 And
Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art
become the people of the LORD thy God.
05-31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of
the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a
witness against thee.
05-32:41 If
I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take
hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them
that hate me.
06-3:6 And
Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up
the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the
ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
06-3:12 Now
therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes
of Israel, out of every tribe a man.
06-4:2 Take you twelve men out of the people, out of every
tribe a man,
06-4:3 And
command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of
the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm,
twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the
lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.
06-4:5 And
Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the
midst of Jordan, and take you up every man of
you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the
children of Israel:
06-6:6 And
Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests
bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.
06-6:18 And
ye, in any wise keep yourselves from
the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves
accursed, when ye take of the accursed
thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
06-7:13 Up,
sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus
saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an
accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before
thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed
thing from among you.
06-7:14 In
the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it
shall be, that the tribe which the
LORD taketh shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which the LORD shall take shall come by households; and the household which
the LORD shall take shall come man by man.
06-8:1 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up
to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his
city, and his land:
06-8:2 And
thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only
the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take
for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it.
06-8:29 And
the king of Ai he hanged on a tree until eventide: and as soon as the sun was
down, Joshua commanded that they should take his
carcase down from the tree, and cast it at the entering of the gate of the
city, and raise thereon a great heap of stones, that remaineth unto this day.
06-9:11 Wherefore
our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet
them, and say unto them, We are your
servants: therefore now make ye a league with us.
06-10:42 And
all these kings and their land did Joshua take
at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.
06-11:12 And
all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses
the servant of the LORD commanded.
06-20:4 And
when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of
the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of
that city, they shall take him into the city
unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.
06-22:5 But
take diligent heed to do the commandment and the
law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your
God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave
unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
06-22:19 Notwithstanding,
if the land of your possession be unclean,
then pass ye over unto the land of
the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD’S tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the
LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the
LORD our God.
06-23:11 Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love
the LORD your God.
07-4:6 And
she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said
unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of
the children of Zebulun?
07-5:30 Have
they not sped? have they not divided
the prey; to every man a damsel or two;
to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of
divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet
for the necks of them that take the spoil?
07-6:20 And
the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh
and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon
this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so.
07-6:25 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second
bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father
hath, and cut down the grove that is by
it:
07-6:26 And
build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered
place, and take the second bullock, and offer a
burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.
07-7:24 And
Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against
the Midianites, and take before them the waters
unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves
together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
07-14:3 Then
his father and his mother said unto him, Is
there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my
people, that thou goest to take a wife of the
uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for
she pleaseth me well.
07-14:8 And
after a time he returned to take her, and he
turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.
07-14:15 And
it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice
thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy
father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take
that we have? is it not so?
07-15:2 And
her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I
gave her to thy companion: is not her
younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray
thee, instead of her.
07-19:30 And
it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from
the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this
day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.
07-20:10 And
we will take ten men of an hundred throughout
all the tribes of Israel, and an hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of
ten thousand, to fetch victual for the people, that they may do, when they come
to Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that they have wrought in
Israel.
08-2:10 Then
she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why
have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take
knowledge of me, seeing I am a
stranger?
08-2:19 And
her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where
wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take
knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought,
and said, The man’s name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.
09-2:16 And
if any man said unto him, Let them
not fail to burn the fat presently, and then
take as
much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it
me now: and if not, I will take it by force.
09-6:7 Now
therefore make a new cart, and take two milch
kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the cart, and bring
their calves home from them:
09-6:8 And
take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the
cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him for a trespass offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and send
it away, that it may go.

he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will
take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall
run before his chariots.
09-8:13 And
he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to
be cooks, and to be bakers.
09-8:14 And
he will take your fields, and your vineyards,
and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.
09-8:15 And
he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your
vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.
09-8:16 And
he will take your menservants, and your
maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.
09-8:17 He
will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall
be his servants.
09-9:3 And
the asses of Kish Saul’s father were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go
seek the asses.
09-9:5 And when they were come to the land of
Zuph, Saul said to his servant that was with
him, Come, and let us return; lest my father leave caring for the asses, and take
thought for us.

Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it,
he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an
heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.
09-17:17 And
Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy
brethren an ephah of this parched corn, and
these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren;

carry these ten cheeses unto the captain of their
thousand, and look how thy brethren fare, and take
their pledge.
09-17:46 This
day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the
carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and
to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a
God in Israel.
09-19:2 But
Jonathan Saul’s son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying,

secret place, and hide thyself:
09-19:14 And
when Saul sent messengers to take David, she
said, He is sick.
09-19:20 And
Saul sent messengers to take David: and when

God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.
09-20:21 And,
behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go,
find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for there is peace to thee, and no hurt; as the LORD liveth.
09-21:9 And
the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the
valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped
in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take
that, take it:
for there is no other save that
here. And David said, There is none
like that; give it me.
09-23:23 See
therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking
places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and
I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I
will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.
09-23:26 And
Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the
mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his
men compassed David and his men round about to take
them.
09-24:11 Moreover,
my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand: for in that I cut off
the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil nor transgression
in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou huntest my soul to take it.
09-25:11 Shall
I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh
that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?
09-25:39 And
when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the
hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned
the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with
Abigail, to take her to him to wife.
09-25:40 And
when the servants of David were come to Abigail to Carmel, they spake unto her,
saying, David sent us unto thee, to take thee to
him to wife.

water, and let us go.
10-2:21 And
Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay
thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee
his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
10-4:11 How
much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon
his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?
10-5:6 And
the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of
the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take
away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David
cannot come in hither.
10-12:4 And
there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress
for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and
dressed it for the man that was come to him.
10-12:11 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house,
and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and
give them unto thy neighbour, and he
shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
10-12:28 Now
therefore gather the rest of the people together, and encamp against the city,
and take it: lest I take
the city, and it be called after my name.
10-13:33 Now
therefore let not my lord the king take the
thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead: for Amnon only
is dead.
10-15:20 Whereas
thou camest but yesterday, should I
this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return
thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and
truth be with thee.
10-16:9 Then
said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse
my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take
off his head.
10-19:19 And
said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou
remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king
went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take
it to his heart.
10-19:30 And

all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own house.
10-20:6 And

thou thy lord’s servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him fenced cities,
and escape us.
10-24:10 And
David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said
unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech
thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy
servant; for I have done very foolishly.
10-24:22 And
Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take
and offer up what seemeth good unto
him: behold, here be oxen for burnt
sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other
instruments of the oxen for wood.
11-1:33 The
king also said unto them, Take with you the
servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and
bring him down to Gihon:
11-2:4 That
the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy
children take heed to their way, to walk before
me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail
thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
11-2:31 And
the king said unto him, Do as he hath said, and fall upon him, and bury him;
that thou mayest take away the innocent blood,
which Joab shed, from me, and from the house of my father.
11-8:25 Therefore
now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou
promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on
the throne of Israel; so that thy children take
heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
11-11:31 And
he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for
thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of
the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
11-11:34 Howbeit
I will not take the whole kingdom out of his
hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my
servant’s sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
11-11:35 But
I will take the kingdom out of his son’s hand,
and will give it unto thee, even ten
tribes.
11-11:37 And
I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according
to all that thy soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel.
11-14:3 And
take with thee ten loaves, and cracknels, and a
cruse of honey, and go to him: he shall tell thee what shall become of the child.
11-14:10 Therefore,
behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from
Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and
him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take
away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it
be all gone.
11-16:3 Behold,
I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and
the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam
the son of Nebat.

Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of
Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them
down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
11-19:4 But
he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down
under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said,
It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life;
for I am not better than my fathers.
11-19:10 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children
of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy
prophets with the sword; and I, even I
only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it
away.
11-19:14 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the
children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and
slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even
I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take
it away.
11-20:6 Yet
I will send my servants unto thee to morrow about this time, and they shall
search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine
eyes, they shall put it in their
hand, and take it away.
11-20:18 And
he said, Whether they be come out for peace, take
them alive; or whether they be come out for war, take
them alive.
11-20:24 And
do this thing, Take the kings away, every man
out of his place, and put captains in their rooms:
11-21:15 And
it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that
Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of
the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money:
for Naboth is not alive, but dead.
11-21:16 And
it came to pass, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go
down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take
possession of it.
11-21:21 Behold,
I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away
thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall,
and him that is shut up and left in Israel,
11-22:3 And
the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?
11-22:26 And
the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry
him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son;
12-2:1 And
it came to pass, when the LORD would take up
Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
12-2:3 And
the sons of the prophets that were at
Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will
take away thy master from thy head to day? And
he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your
peace.
12-2:5 And

answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye
your peace.
12-4:1 Now

servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take
unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
12-4:29 Then
he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take
my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not;
and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of
the child.
12-4:36 And
he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when
she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy
son.
12-5:15 And
he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood
before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I
pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
12-5:16 But
he said, As the LORD liveth, before
whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take
it; but he refused.
12-5:20 But
Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath
spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought:
but, as the LORD liveth, I will run
after him, and take somewhat of him.
12-5:23 And
Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And
he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of
garments, and laid them upon two of
his servants; and they bare them before
him.
12-6:2 Let
us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take
thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell.
And he answered, Go ye.
12-6:7 Therefore
said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.
12-6:32 But
Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him,
he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away mine head? look, when the messenger cometh,
shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?
12-7:13 And
one of his servants answered and said, Let some
take, I pray thee, five of the horses that
remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:)
and let us send and see.
12-8:8 And
the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in
thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him,
saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
12-9:1 And
Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto
him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil
in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:
12-9:3 Then
take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the
LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and
tarry not.
12-9:17 And
there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of
Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him
say, Is it peace?
12-9:25 Then
said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast
him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how
that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the LORD laid this
burden upon him;
12-9:26 Surely
I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the
LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast
him into the plat of ground, according
to the word of the LORD.
12-10:6 Then
he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will
hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the
men your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now
the king’s sons, being seventy persons,
were with the great men of the city,
which brought them up.
12-10:14 And
he said, Take them alive. And they took them
alive, and slew them at the pit of the shearing house, even two and forty men; neither left he any of them.
12-12:5 Let
the priests take it to them, every man of his acquaintance: and let them repair the
breaches of the house, wheresoever any breach shall be found.
12-13:15 And
Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And
he took unto him bow and arrows.
12-13:18 And
he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of
Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.
12-18:32 Until
I come and take you away to a land like your own
land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil
olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto
Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.
12-19:30 And
the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
12-20:7 And
Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took
and laid it on the boil, and he
recovered.
12-20:18 And
of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of
the king of Babylon.
13-7:21 And
Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath
that were born in that land slew, because they came down
to take away their cattle.
13-17:13 I
will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:
13-21:23 And
Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen also for
burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the
meat offering; I give it all.
13-21:24 And
king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for
I will not take that which is thine for
the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
13-28:10 Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build
an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
14-6:16 Now
therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that
which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my
sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast
walked before me.
14-18:25 Then
the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah, and
carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son;
14-19:6 And
said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye
judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is
with you in the judgment.
14-19:7 Wherefore
now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take
heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our
God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
14-20:25 And
when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take
away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the
dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more
than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil,
it was so much.
14-32:18 Then
they cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ speech unto the people of Jerusalem
that were on the wall, to affright
them, and to trouble them; that they might take
the city.
14-33:8 Neither
will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have
appointed for your fathers; so that they will take
heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the
statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
15-4:22 Take heed now that ye fail not to do this: why should
damage grow to the hurt of the kings?
15-5:14 And
the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar
took out of the temple that was in
Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the
king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they
were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made
governor;
15-5:15 And
said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry
them into the temple that is in
Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded in his place.
15-9:12 Now
therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their
peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the
land, and leave it for an inheritance
to your children for ever.
16-5:2 For
there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters, are many: therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat, and live.
16-6:7 And
thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall
it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and
let us take counsel together.
16-10:30 And
that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:
16-10:38 And
the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe
of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure
house.
16-13:25 And
I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked
off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying,
Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for
yourselves.
17-3:13 And
the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to
kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and
women, in one day, even upon the
thirteenth day of the twelfth month,
which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
17-4:4 So
Esther’s maids and her chamberlains came and told it her. Then was the queen exceedingly grieved; and she sent
raiment to clothe Mordecai, and to take away his
sackcloth from him: but he received it not.
17-6:10 Then
the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and
do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail
of all that thou hast spoken.
17-8:11 Wherein
the king granted the Jews which were in
every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to
destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and
province that would assault them, both little
ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,
18-7:21 And
why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take
away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me
in the morning, but I shall not be.
18-9:18 He
will not suffer me to take my breath, but
filleth me with bitterness.
18-9:34 Let
him take his rod away from me, and let not his
fear terrify me:
18-10:20 Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
18-11:18 And
thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
18-13:14 Wherefore
do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life
in mine hand?
18-18:9 The
gin shall take him by the heel, and the
robber shall prevail against him.
18-21:12 They
take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the
sound of the organ.
18-23:10 But
he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come
forth as gold.
18-24:2 Some remove the landmarks; they
violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
18-24:3 They
drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take
the widow’s ox for a pledge.
18-24:9 They
pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a
pledge of the poor.
18-24:10 They
cause him to go naked without
clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
18-27:20 Terrors
take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth
him away in the night.
18-30:17 My
bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.
18-31:36 Surely
I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me.
18-32:22 For
I know not to give flattering titles; in
so doing my maker would soon take me away.
18-36:17 But
thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on
thee.
18-36:18 Because
there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot
deliver thee.
18-36:21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou
chosen rather than affliction.
18-38:13 That
it might take hold of the ends of the earth,
that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
18-38:20 That
thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and
that thou shouldest know the paths to the
house thereof?
18-41:4 Will
he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him
for a servant for ever?
18-42:8 Therefore
take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams,
and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my
servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not
spoken of me the thing which is right,
like my servant Job.
19-2:2 The
kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take
counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
19-7:5 Let
the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon
the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
19-13:2 How
long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how
long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
19-16:4 Their
sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten
after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
19-27:10 When
my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take
me up.
19-31:13 For
I have heard the slander of many: fear was
on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to
take away my life.
19-35:2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine
help.
19-39:1 I
said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin
not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is
before me.
19-50:9 I
will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
19-50:16 But
unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
19-51:11 Cast
me not away from thy presence; and take not thy
holy spirit from me.
19-52:5 God
shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take
thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling
place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
19-58:9 Before
your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take
them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
19-69:20 Reproach
hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take
pity, but there was none; and for
comforters, but I found none.
19-69:24 Pour
out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
19-71:10 For
mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
19-71:11 Saying,
God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him;
for there is none to deliver him.
19-80:9 Thou
preparedst room before it, and didst cause
it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
19-81:2 Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the
pleasant harp with the psaltery.
19-83:12 Who
said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God
in possession.
19-89:33 Nevertheless
my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from
him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
19-102:14 For
thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and
favour the dust thereof.
19-102:24 I
said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of
my days: thy years are throughout all
generations.
19-109:8 Let
his days be few; and let another take his office.
19-116:13 I
will take the cup of salvation, and call upon
the name of the LORD.
19-119:43 And
take not the word of truth utterly out of my
mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
19-139:9 If I take
the wings of the morning, and dwell
in the uttermost parts of the sea;
19-139:20 For
they speak against thee wickedly, and thine
enemies take thy
name in vain.
20-2:19 None
that go unto her return again, neither take they
hold of the paths of life.
20-4:13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
20-5:5 Her
feet go down to death; her steps take hold on
hell.
20-5:22 His
own iniquities shall take the wicked himself,
and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
20-6:25 Lust
not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take
thee with her eyelids.
20-6:27 Can
a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes
not be burned?
20-7:18 Come,
let us take our fill of love until the morning:
let us solace ourselves with loves.
20-20:16 Take his garment that is surety for a stranger: and take a pledge of
him for a strange woman.
20-22:27 If
thou hast nothing to pay, why should he take
away thy bed from under thee?
20-25:4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall
come forth a vessel for the finer.
20-25:5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in
righteousness.
20-27:13 Take his garment that is surety for a stranger, and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.
20-30:9 Lest
I be full, and deny thee, and say,
Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor,
and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
21-5:15 As
he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and
shall take nothing of his labour, which he may
carry away in his hand.
21-5:19 Every
man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to
eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to
rejoice in his labour; this is the
gift of God.
21-7:18 It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not
thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.
21-7:21 Also
take no heed unto all words that are spoken;
lest thou hear thy servant curse thee:
22-2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the
vines: for our vines have tender
grapes.
22-7:8 I
said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take
hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the
vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;
23-1:25 And
I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
23-3:1 For,
behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take
away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of
bread, and the whole stay of water.
23-3:6 When
a man shall take hold of his brother of the
house of his father, saying, Thou
hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let
this ruin be under thy hand:
23-3:18 In
that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
23-4:1 And
in that day seven women shall take hold of one
man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us
be called by thy name, to take away our
reproach.
23-5:5 And
now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up;
and break down the wall thereof, and
it shall be trodden down:
23-5:23 Which
justify the wicked for reward, and take away the
righteousness of the righteous from him!
23-7:4 And
say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not,
neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the
fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
23-8:1 Moreover
the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll,
and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
23-8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought;
speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
23-10:2 To
turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take
away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
23-10:6 I
will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my
wrath will I give him a charge, to take the
spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them
down like the mire of the streets.
23-13:8 And
they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take
hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be
amazed one at another; their faces shall
be as flames.
23-14:2 And
the people shall take them, and bring them to
their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD
for servants and handmaids: and they shall take
them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their
oppressors.
23-14:4 That
thou shalt take up this proverb against the king
of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
23-16:3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the
night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that
wandereth.
23-18:4 For
so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest,
and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of
harvest.
23-18:5 For
afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in
the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut
down the branches.
23-23:16 Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast
been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be
remembered.
23-25:8 He
will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from
off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take
away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
23-27:5 Or
let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
23-27:6 He
shall cause them that come of Jacob to take
root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
23-27:9 By
this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of
the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall
not stand up.
23-28:19 From
the time that it goeth forth it shall take you:
for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be
a vexation only to understand the
report.
23-30:1 Woe
to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take
counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit,
that they may add sin to sin:
23-30:14 And
he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in
pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of
it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal
out of the pit.
23-33:23 Thy
tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not
spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
23-36:17 Until
I come and take you away to a land like your own
land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.
23-37:31 And
the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
23-38:21 For
Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs,
and lay it for a plaister upon the
boil, and he shall recover.
23-39:7 And
of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of
the king of Babylon.
23-40:24 Yea,
they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall
not take root in the earth: and he shall also
blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
23-44:15 Then
shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take
thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it,
and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and
falleth down thereto.
23-45:21 Tell
ye, and bring them near; yea, let
them take counsel together: who hath declared
this from ancient time? who hath told
it from that time? have not I the
LORD? and there is no God else beside
me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none
beside me.
23-47:2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy
locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
23-47:3 Thy
nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.
23-56:4 For
thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
23-57:13 When
thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all
away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land,
and shall inherit my holy mountain;
23-57:14 And
shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take
up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.
23-58:2 Yet
they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did
righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the
ordinances of justice; they take delight in
approaching to God.
23-58:9 Then
shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say,
Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting
forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
23-64:7 And
there is none that calleth upon thy
name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of
thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our
iniquities.
23-66:21 And
I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
24-2:22 For
though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee
much sope, yet thine iniquity is
marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.
24-3:14 Turn,
O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I
will bring you to Zion:
24-4:4 Circumcise
yourselves to the LORD, and take away the
foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my
fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
24-5:10 Go
ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD’S.
24-7:29 Cut
off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast
it away, and take
up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the
generation of his wrath.
24-9:4 Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye
not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every
neighbour will walk with slanders.
24-9:10 For
the mountains will I take up a weeping and
wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they
are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear
the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled;
they are gone.
24-9:18 And
let them make haste, and take up a wailing for
us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with
waters.
24-13:4 Take the girdle that thou hast got, which is upon thy loins, and arise, go to
Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock.
24-13:6 And
it came to pass after many days, that the LORD said unto me, Arise, go to
Euphrates, and take the girdle from thence,
which I commanded thee to hide there.
24-13:21 What
wilt thou say when he shall punish thee? for thou hast taught them to be captains, and as chief over thee: shall not sorrows take
thee, as a woman in travail?
24-15:15 O
LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my
persecutors; take me not away in thy
longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
24-15:19 Therefore
thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if
thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou
shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
24-16:2 Thou
shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou
have sons or daughters in this place.
24-17:21 Thus
saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and
bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;
24-18:22 Let
a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon
them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and
hid snares for my feet.
24-19:1 Thus
saith the LORD, Go and get a potter’s earthen bottle, and take of the ancients of the people,
and of the ancients of the priests;
24-20:5 Moreover
I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and
all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah
will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.
24-20:10 For
I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my
halting, saying, Peradventure he will
be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.
24-25:9 Behold,
I will send and take all the families of the
north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and
will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and
against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make
them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
24-25:10 Moreover
I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the
voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the
sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.
24-25:15 For
thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take
the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send
thee, to drink it.
24-25:28 And
it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at
thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.
24-29:6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to
husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased
there, and not diminished.
24-32:3 For
Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy,
and say, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of
the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
24-32:14 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take
these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this
evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may
continue many days.
24-32:24 Behold
the mounts, they are come unto the city to take
it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against
it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what
thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.
24-32:25 And
thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of
the Chaldeans.
24-32:28 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the
Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:
24-32:44 Men
shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take
witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in
the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of
the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to
return, saith the LORD.
24-33:26 Then
will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will
cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
24-34:22 Behold,
I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they
shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it
with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an
inhabitant.
24-36:2 Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the
words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and
against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of
Josiah, even unto this day.
24-36:14 Therefore
all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son
of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine
hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So
Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
24-36:26 But
the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of
Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take
Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the LORD hid them.
24-36:28 Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the
former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah
hath burned.
24-37:8 And
the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.
24-38:3 Thus
saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of
Babylon’s army, which shall take it.
24-38:10 Then
the king commanded Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Take
from hence thirty men with thee, and take up
Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.
24-39:12 Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm;
but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.
24-43:9 Take great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the
clay in the brickkiln, which is at
the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
24-43:10 And
say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will
send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of
Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid;
and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
24-44:12 And
I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set
their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be
consumed, and fall in the land of
Egypt; they shall even be consumed by
the sword and by the famine: they
shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the
famine: and they shall be an execration, and
an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
24-46:11 Go
up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the
daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured.
24-49:29 Their
tents and their flocks shall they take away:
they shall take to themselves their curtains,
and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.
24-50:15 Shout
against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen,
her walls are thrown down: for it is the
vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her;
as she hath done, do unto her.
24-51:8 Babylon
is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take
balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
24-51:26 And
they shall not take of thee a stone for a
corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith
the LORD.
24-51:36 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea,
and make her springs dry.
25-2:13 What
thing shall I take to witness for thee? what
thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to
thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal
thee?
26-4:1 Thou
also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it
before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even
Jerusalem:
26-4:3 Moreover
take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the
city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay
siege against it. This shall be a
sign to the house of Israel.
26-4:9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans,
and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make
thee bread thereof, according to the
number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety
days shalt thou eat thereof.
26-5:1 And
thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy
beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and
divide the hair.
26-5:2 Thou
shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of
the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a
third part, and smite about it with a
knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a
sword after them.
26-5:3 Thou
shalt also take thereof a few in number, and
bind them in thy skirts.
26-5:4 Then
take of them again, and cast them into the midst
of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for
thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
26-10:6 And
it came to pass, that when he had
commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take
fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and
stood beside the wheels.
26-11:18 And
they shall come thither, and they shall take
away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from
thence.
26-11:19 And
I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give
them an heart of flesh:
26-14:5 That
I may take the house of Israel in their own
heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.
26-15:3 Shall
wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any
vessel thereon?
26-16:16 And
of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst
thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither
shall it be so.
26-16:39 And
I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent
place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy
clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and
leave thee naked and bare.
26-17:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the
highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one,
and will plant it upon an high
mountain and eminent:
26-19:1 Moreover
take thou up a lamentation for the princes of
Israel,
26-21:26 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take
off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him
that is high.
26-22:16 And
thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in
the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
26-23:25 And
I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee:
they shall take away thy nose and thine ears;
and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take
thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
26-23:26 They
shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take
away thy fair jewels.
26-23:29 And
they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take
away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of
thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
26-24:5 Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones
under it, and make it boil well, and
let them seethe the bones of it therein.
26-24:8 That
it might cause fury to come up to take
vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be
covered.
26-24:16 Son
of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire
of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither
shall thy tears run down.
26-24:25 Also,
thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory,
the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons
and their daughters,
26-26:17 And
they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and
say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that
wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in
the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!
26-27:2 Now,
thou son of man, take up a lamentation for
Tyrus;
26-27:32 And
in their wailing they shall take up a
lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying,
What city is like Tyrus, like the
destroyed in the midst of the sea?
26-28:12 Son
of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of
Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full
of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
26-29:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take
her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
26-30:4 And
the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the
slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take
away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.
26-32:2 Son
of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king
of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou
art as a whale in the seas: and thou
camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and
fouledst their rivers.
26-33:2 Son
of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring
the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take
a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
26-33:4 Then
whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword
come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon
his own head.
26-33:6 But
if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be
not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken
away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
26-36:24 For
I will take you from among the heathen, and
gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
26-36:26 A
new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I
will take away the stony heart out of your
flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
26-37:16 Moreover,
thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write
upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the
stick of Ephraim, and for all the
house of Israel his companions:
26-37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take
the stick of Joseph, which is in the
hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with
him, even with the stick of Judah,
and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
26-37:21 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take
the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will
gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
26-38:12 To
take a spoil, and to take
a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and
goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
26-38:13 Sheba,
and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof,
shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a
spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a
prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take
away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
26-39:10 So
that they shall take no wood out of the field,
neither cut down any out of the
forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those
that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
26-43:20 And
thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the
four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou
cleanse and purge it.
26-43:21 Thou
shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering,
and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the
sanctuary.
26-44:22 Neither
shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her
that is put away: but they shall take maidens of
the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before.
26-45:9 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence
and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take
away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.
26-45:18 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in
the first day of the month, thou
shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and
cleanse the sanctuary:
26-45:19 And
the priest shall take of the blood of the sin
offering, and put it upon the posts
of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon
the posts of the gate of the inner court.
26-46:18 Moreover
the prince shall not take of the people’s
inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance
out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his
possession.
27-6:23 Then
was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up
out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed
in his God.
27-7:18 But
the saints of the most High shall take the
kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
27-7:26 But
the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away
his dominion, to consume and to destroy it
unto the end.
27-11:15 So
the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south
shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.
27-11:18 After
this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take
many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him
to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.
27-11:31 And
arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength,
and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the
abomination that maketh desolate.
28-1:2 The
beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of
whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
28-1:6 And
she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have
mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take
them away.
28-2:9 Therefore
will I return, and take away my corn in the time
thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my
flax given to cover her nakedness.
28-2:17 For
I will take away the names of Baalim out of her
mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
28-4:10 For
they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not
increase: because they have left off to take
heed to the LORD.
28-4:11 Whoredom
and wine and new wine take away the heart.
28-5:14 For
I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and
as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even
I, will tear and go away; I will take away,
and none shall rescue him.
28-11:4 I
drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they
that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid
meat unto them.
28-14:2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto
him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the
calves of our lips.
30-3:5 Can
a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing
at all?
30-4:2 The
Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you,
that he will take you away with hooks, and your
posterity with fishhooks.
30-5:1 Hear
ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
30-5:11 Forasmuch
therefore as your treading is upon
the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat:
ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have
planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
30-5:12 For
I know your manifold transgressions, and your mighty sins: they afflict the
just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the
poor in the gate from their right.
30-5:23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I
will not hear the melody of thy viols.
30-6:10 And
a man’s uncle shall take him up, and he that
burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him
that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy
tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
30-9:2 Though
they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take
them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
30-9:3 And
though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight
in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite
them:
32-1:12 And
he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth
into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake
this great tempest is upon you.
32-4:3 Therefore
now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from
me; for it is better for me to die
than to live.
33-2:2 And
they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take
them away: so they oppress a man and his
house, even a man and his heritage.
33-2:4 In
that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a
doleful lamentation, and say, We be
utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided
our fields.
33-2:6 Prophesy
ye not, say they to them that prophesy:
they shall not prophesy to them, that they
shall not take shame.
33-6:14 Thou
shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give
up to the sword.
34-1:2 God
is jealous, and the LORD revengeth;
the LORD revengeth, and is furious;
the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries,
and he reserveth wrath for his
enemies.
34-2:9 Take ye the spoil of silver, take
the spoil of gold: for there is none
end of the store and glory out of all
the pleasant furniture.
35-1:10 And
they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they
shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
35-1:15 They
take up all of them with the angle, they catch
them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and
are glad.
35-2:6 Shall
not all these take up a parable against him, and
a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to
him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
36-3:11 In
that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast
transgressed against me: for then I will take
away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no
more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
37-1:8 Go
up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith
the LORD.
37-2:23 In
that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take
thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make
thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-1:6 But
my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they
not take hold of your fathers? and they returned
and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our
ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
38-3:4 And
he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him
he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will
clothe thee with change of raiment.
38-6:10 Take of them of the
captivity, even of Heldai, of
Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same
day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
38-6:11 Then
take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of
Josedech, the high priest;
38-8:23 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it
shall come to pass, that ten men shall take
hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take
hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we
have heard that God is with you.
38-9:7 And
I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and
his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as
a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
38-11:15 And
the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the
instruments of a foolish shepherd.
38-14:21 Yea,
every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts:
and all they that sacrifice shall come and take
of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the
Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
39-2:3 Behold,
I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
39-2:15 And
did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one?
That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take
heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his
youth.
39-2:16 For
the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment,
saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to
your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
40-1:20 But
while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto
him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is
conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
40-2:13 And
when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a
dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and
his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for
Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
40-2:20 Saying,
Arise, and take the young child and his mother,
and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young
child’s life.
40-5:40 And
if any man will sue thee at the law, and take
away thy coat, let him have thy cloke
also.
40-6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be
seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
40-6:25 Therefore
I say unto you, Take no thought for your life,
what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall
put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
40-6:28 And
why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the
lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
40-6:31 Therefore
take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or,
What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
40-6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the
morrow shall take thought for the things of
itself. Sufficient unto the day is the
evil thereof.
40-9:6 But
that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then
saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take
up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
40-10:19 But
when they deliver you up, take no thought how or
what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall
speak.
40-11:12 And
from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth
violence, and the violent take it by force.
40-11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek
and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
40-15:26 But
he answered and said, It is not meet to take the
children’s bread, and cast it to
dogs.
40-16:5 And
when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
40-16:6 Then
Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the
leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
40-16:24 Then
said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man
will come after me, let him deny himself, and take
up his cross, and follow me.
40-17:25 He
saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying,
What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of
strangers?
40-17:27 Notwithstanding,
lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou
hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
40-18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little
ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face
of my Father which is in heaven.
40-18:16 But
if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of
two or three witnesses every word may be established.
40-18:23 Therefore
is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
40-20:14 Take that thine
is, and go thy way: I will give unto
this last, even as unto thee.
40-22:13 Then
said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of
teeth.
40-24:4 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed
that no man deceive you.
40-24:17 Let
him which is on the housetop not come down to take
any thing out of his house:
40-24:18 Neither
let him which is in the field return back to take
his clothes.
40-25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
40-26:4 And
consulted that they might take Jesus by
subtilty, and kill him.
40-26:26 And
as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and
gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
40-26:45 Then
cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest:
behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of
sinners.
40-26:52 Then
said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
40-26:55 In
that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief
with swords and staves for to take me? I sat
daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
41-2:9 Whether
is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
41-2:11 I
say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and
go thy way into thine house.
41-4:24 And
he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with
what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall
more be given.
41-6:8 And
commanded them that they should take nothing for
their journey, save a staff only; no
scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:
41-7:27 But
Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
41-8:14 Now
the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them
more than one loaf.
41-8:15 And
he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the
leaven of the Pharisees, and of the
leaven of Herod.
41-8:34 And
when he had called the people unto him with
his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him
deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow
me.
41-10:21 Then
Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go
thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have
treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross,
and follow me.
41-12:19 Master,
Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and
leave no children, that his brother should take
his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
41-13:5 And
Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed
lest any man deceive you:
41-13:9 But
take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver
you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be
brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
41-13:11 But
when they shall lead you, and deliver
you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall
speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that
hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
41-13:15 And
let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take
any thing out of his house:
41-13:16 And
let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
41-13:23 But
take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all
things.
41-13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the
time is.
41-14:1 After
two days was the feast of the
passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought
how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
41-14:22 And
as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take,
eat: this is my body.
41-14:36 And
he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible
unto thee; take away this cup from me:
nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
41-14:41 And
he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest:
it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the
hands of sinners.
41-14:44 And
he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss,
that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
41-14:48 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with
swords and with staves to take me?
41-15:24 And
when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them,
what every man should take.
41-15:36 And
one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see
whether Elias will come to take him down.
41-16:18 They
shall take up serpents; and if they drink any
deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and
they shall recover.
42-1:25 Thus
hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take
away my reproach among men.
42-5:24 But
that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he
said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
42-6:4 How
he went into the house of God, and did take and
eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not
lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
42-6:29 And
unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek
offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat
also.
42-8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath,
to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even
that which he seemeth to have.
42-9:3 And
he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip,
neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
42-9:23 And
he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
42-10:35 And
on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when
I come again, I will repay thee.
42-11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be
not darkness.
42-12:11 And
when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take
ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
42-12:15 And
he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of
covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things
which he possesseth.
42-12:19 And
I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
42-12:22 And
he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take
no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye
shall put on.
42-12:26 If
ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
42-14:9 And
he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou
begin with shame to take the lowest room.
42-16:6 And
he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
42-16:7 Then
said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures
of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill,
and write fourscore.
42-17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass
against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
42-17:31 In
that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let
him not come down to take it away: and he that
is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
42-19:24 And
he said unto them that stood by, Take from him
the pound, and give it to him that
hath ten pounds.
42-20:20 And
they watched him, and sent forth spies,
which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the
power and authority of the governor.
42-20:26 And
they could not take hold of his words before the
people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
42-20:28 Saying,
Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he
die without children, that his brother should take
his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
42-21:8 And
he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for
many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ;
and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
42-21:34 And
take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your
hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life,
and so that day come upon you
unawares.
42-22:17 And
he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take
this, and divide it among yourselves:
42-22:36 Then
said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and
likewise his scrip: and he that hath
no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
43-2:16 And
said unto them that sold doves, Take these
things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
43-5:8 Jesus
saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
43-5:11 He
answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
43-5:12 Then
asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take
up thy bed, and walk?
43-6:7 Philip
answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that
every one of them may take a little.
43-6:15 When
Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take
him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself
alone.

they sought to take him: but no man laid hands
on him, because his hour was not yet come.
43-7:32 The
Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the
Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take
him.
43-10:17 Therefore
doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
43-10:18 No
man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it
down, and I have power to take it again. This
commandment have I received of my Father.
43-10:39 Therefore
they sought again to take him: but he escaped
out of their hand,
43-11:39 Jesus
said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister
of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he
hath been dead four days.
43-11:48 If
we let him thus alone, all men will
believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take
away both our place and nation.
43-11:57 Now
both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man
knew where he were, he should shew it, that
they might take him.
43-16:15 All
things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
43-17:15 I
pray not that thou shouldest take them out of
the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
43-18:31 Then
said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge
him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful
for us to put any man to death:
43-19:6 When
the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying,
Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
43-19:38 And
after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for
fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take
away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him
leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
43-20:15 Jesus
saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him
to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me
where thou hast laid him, and I will take him
away.

own place.

said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves
what ye intend to do as touching these men.

bread.)

departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
44-20:13 And
we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself
to go afoot.
44-20:26 Wherefore
I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
44-20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the
flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the
church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
44-21:24 Them
take, and purify thyself with them, and be at
charges with them, that they may shave their
heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed
concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou
thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.
44-22:26 When
the centurion heard that, he went and
told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what
thou doest: for this man is a Roman.
44-23:10 And

should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down,
and to take him by force from among them, and to
bring him into the castle.
44-24:8 Commanding
his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse
him.
44-27:33 And
while the day was coming on, Paul besought them
all to take meat, saying, This day is the
fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken
nothing.
44-27:34 Wherefore
I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair
fall from the head of any of you.
45-11:21 For
if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
45-11:27 For
this is my covenant unto them, when I
shall take away their sins.
45-15:24 Whensoever
I take my journey into Spain, I will come to
you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way
thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.
46-3:10 According
to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have
laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
46-6:7 Now
therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with
another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do
ye not rather suffer yourselves to be
defrauded?
46-6:15 Know
ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God
forbid.
46-8:9 But
take heed lest by any means this liberty of
yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
46-9:9 For
it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox
that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care
for oxen?

let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest
he fall.
46-11:24 And
when he had given thanks, he brake it, and
said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken
for you: this do in remembrance of me.
47-8:4 Praying
us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the
ministering to the saints.
47-11:20 For
ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take
of you, if a man exalt himself, if a
man smite you on the face.
47-12:10 Therefore
I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches,
in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am
weak, then am I strong.
48-5:15 But
if ye bite and devour one another, take heed
that ye be not consumed one of another.
49-6:13 Wherefore
take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may
be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of
the Spirit, which is the word of God:

if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
54-4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine;
continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that
hear thee.

Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with
thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
58-7:5 And

bulls and of goats should take away sins.

the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
60-2:20 For
what glory is it, if, when ye be
buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it
patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
61-1:19 We
have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark
place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

ye know that he was manifested to take away our
sins; and in him is no sin.

come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take
the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the
sea and upon the earth.
66-10:9 And I
went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said
unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall
be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
66-22:17 And the
Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him
that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take
the water of life freely.

man shall take away from the words of the book
of this prophecy, God shall take away his part
out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
