01-GENESIS
01-18:7 And
Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender
and good, and gave it unto a young
man; and he hasted to dress it.
01-29:17 Leah
was tender
eyed; but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured.
01-33:13 And
he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds
with young are with me: and if men
should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-28:54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very
delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his
bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:
05-28:56 The
tender and delicate woman among you, which would
not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness,
her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and
toward her daughter,
05-32:2 My
doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the
small rain upon the tender herb, and as the
showers upon the grass:
10-23:4 And
he shall be as the light of the
morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender
grass springing out of the earth by
clear shining after rain.
12-22:19 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled
thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place,
and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a
curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.
13-22:5 And
David said, Solomon my son is young
and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all
countries: I will therefore now make
preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
13-29:1 Furthermore
David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God
hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not
for man, but for the LORD God.
14-34:27 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble
thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and
against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst
rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.
18-14:7 For
there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that
the tender branch thereof will not cease.
18-38:27 To
satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and
to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring
forth?
19-25:6 Remember,
O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy
lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever
of old.
19-40:11 Withhold
not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let
thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
19-51:1 Have
mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the
multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my
transgressions.
19-69:16 Hear
me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good:
turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender
mercies.
19-77:9 Hath
God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
19-79:8 O
remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender
mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.
19-103:4 Who
redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
19-119:77 Let
thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may
live: for thy law is my delight.
19-119:156 Great
are thy tender
mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.
19-145:9 The
LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are
over all his works.
20-4:3 For
I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
20-12:10 A
righteous man regardeth the life of
his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
20-27:25 The
hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth
itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.
22-2:13 The
fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one,
and come away.
22-2:15 Take
us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender
grapes.
22-7:12 Let
us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender
grape appear, and the pomegranates
bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.
23-47:1 Come
down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the
Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender
and delicate.
23-53:2 For
he shall grow up before him as a tender plant,
and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we
shall see him, there is no beauty
that we should desire him.
26-17:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar,
and will set it; I will crop off from
the top of his young twigs a tender one, and
will plant it upon an high mountain
and eminent:
27-1:9 Now
God had brought Daniel into favour and tender
love with the prince of the eunuchs.
27-4:15 Nevertheless
leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass,
in the tender grass of the field; and let it be
wet with the dew of heaven, and let his
portion be with the beasts in the
grass of the earth:
27-4:23 And
whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and
saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots
thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the
dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till
seven times pass over him;
40-24:32 Now
learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
41-13:28 Now
learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
42-LUKE
42-1:78 Through
the tender mercy of our God; whereby the
dayspring from on high hath visited us,
59-5:11 Behold,
we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and
have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

14-2 CHRONICLES
14-13:7 And
there are gathered unto him vain men, the children of Belial, and have
strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was
young and tenderhearted, and could not withstand
them.
49-EPHESIANS
49-4:32 And
be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

20-PROVERBS
20-10:16 The
labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
20-11:19 As
righteousness tendeth
to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth
it to his own death.
20-11:24 There
is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there
is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
20-14:23 In
all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
20-19:23 The
fear of the LORD tendeth
to life: and he that hath it shall
abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

02-EXODUS
02-26:17 Two
tenons shall
there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou
make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
02-26:19 And
thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets
under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets
under another board for his two tenons.
02-36:22 One
board had two tenons, equally distant one from
another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
02-36:24 And
forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one
board for his two tenons, and two sockets under
another board for his two tenons.

01-GENESIS
01-43:7 And
they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him
according to the tenor of these words: could we
certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?
02-EXODUS
02-34:27 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee
and with Israel.

02-18:21 Moreover
thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of
truth, hating covetousness; and place such
over them, to be rulers of
thousands, and rulers of hundreds,
rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
02-18:25 And
Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people,
rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-1:15 So
I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over
you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over
fifties, and captains over tens, and officers
among your tribes.

01-GENESIS
01-9:21 And
he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
01-12:8 And
he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel
on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD,
and called upon the name of the LORD.
01-13:3 And
he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his
tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel
and Hai;
01-13:12 Abram
dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and
pitched his tent
toward Sodom.
01-13:18 Then
Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar
unto the LORD.
01-18:1 And
the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
01-18:2 And
he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he
saw them, he ran to meet them from
the tent door, and bowed himself toward the
ground,
01-18:6 And
Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and
said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
01-18:9 And
they said unto him, Where is Sarah
thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
01-18:10 And
he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and,
lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
01-24:67 And
Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and
took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was
comforted after his mother’s death.
01-26:17 And
Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in
the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.
01-26:25 And
he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the LORD, and pitched
his tent there: and there Isaac’s servants
digged a well.
01-31:25 Then
Laban overtook Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent
in the mount: and Laban with his brethren pitched in the mount of Gilead.
01-31:33 And
Laban went into Jacob’s tent, and into Leah’s tent, and into the two maidservants’ tents; but he
found them not. Then went he out of
Leah’s tent, and entered into Rachel’s tent.
01-31:34 Now
Rachel had taken the images, and put them in the camel’s furniture, and sat
upon them. And Laban searched all the tent, but
found them not.
01-33:18 And
Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched
his tent before the city.
01-33:19 And
he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent,
at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem’s father, for an hundred pieces
of money.
01-35:21 And
Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the
tower of Edar.
02-18:7 And
Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him;
and they asked each other of their welfare;
and they came into the tent.
02-26:11 And
thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and
couple the tent together, that it may be one.
02-26:12 And
the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent,
the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the
tabernacle.
02-26:13 And
a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth
in the length of the curtains of the tent, it
shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to
cover it.
02-26:14 And
thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering
above of badgers’ skins.
02-26:36 And
thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent,
of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and
fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.
02-33:8 And
it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent
door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
02-33:10 And
all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at
the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent
door.
02-35:11 The
tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his
taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,
02-36:14 And
he made curtains of goats’ hair for the tent
over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.
02-36:18 And
he made fifty taches of brass to
couple the tent together, that it might be one.
02-36:19 And
he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.
02-39:32 Thus
was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent
of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all
that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
02-39:33 And
they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent,
and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and
his sockets,
02-39:40 The
hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the
court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the
tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
02-40:2 On
the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
02-40:6 And
thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the
tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
02-40:7 And
thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the
congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.
02-40:19 And
he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle,
and put the covering of the tent above upon it;
as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-40:22 And
he put the table in the tent of the
congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
02-40:24 And
he put the candlestick in the tent of the
congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
02-40:26 And
he put the golden altar in the tent of the
congregation before the vail:
02-40:29 And
he put the altar of burnt offering by the
door of the tabernacle of the tent of the
congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as
the LORD commanded Moses.
02-40:30 And
he set the laver between the tent of the
congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.
02-40:32 When
they went into the tent of the congregation, and
when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-40:34 Then
a cloud covered the tent of the congregation,
and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
02-40:35 And
Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the
congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled
the tabernacle.
03-14:8 And
he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair,
and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come
into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent
seven days.
04-3:25 And
the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-9:15 And
on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent
of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the
appearance of fire, until the morning.
04-11:10 Then
Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of
his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled
greatly; Moses also was displeased.
04-19:14 This
is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent,
and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
04-19:18 And
a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it
in the water, and sprinkle it upon
the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the
persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one
dead, or a grave:
04-25:8 And
he went after the man of Israel into the tent,
and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her
belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
06-7:21 When
I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of
silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and
took them; and, behold, they are hid
in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the
silver under it.
06-7:22 So
Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent;
and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it.
06-7:23 And
they took them out of the midst of the tent, and
brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them
out before the LORD.
06-7:24 And
Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver,
and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and
his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent,
and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.
07-4:11 Now
Heber the Kenite, which was of the
children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the
Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim,
which is by Kedesh.
07-4:17 Howbeit
Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael
the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there
was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the
Kenite.
07-4:18 And
Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to
me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.
07-4:20 Again
he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent,
and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there
any man here? that thou shalt say, No.
07-4:21 Then
Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and
took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into
his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary.
So he died.
07-4:22 And,
behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him,
Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her
tent, behold,
Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in
his temples.
07-5:24 Blessed
above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be
above women in the tent.
07-7:8 So
the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the
host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.
07-7:13 And
when Gideon was come, behold, there was a
man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream,
and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto
a tent, and smote it that it fell, and
overturned it, that the tent lay along.
07-20:8 And
all the people arose as one man, saying, We will not any of us go to his tent, neither will
we any of us turn into his house.
09-4:10 And
the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into
his tent: and there was a very great slaughter;
for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.
09-13:2 Saul
chose him three thousand men of
Israel; whereof two thousand were
with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in
Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.
09-17:54 And
David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put
his armour in his tent.
10-7:6 Whereas
I have not dwelt in any house since
the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this
day, but have walked in a tent and in a
tabernacle.
10-16:22 So
they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the
house; and Absalom went in unto his father’s concubines in the sight of all
Israel.
10-18:17 And
they took Absalom, and cast him into a great pit in the wood, and laid a very
great heap of stones upon him: and all Israel fled every one to his tent.
10-19:8 Then
the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying,
Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king:
for Israel had fled every man to his tent.
10-20:22 Then
the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of
Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out
to Joab. And he blew a trumpet, and they retired from the city, every man to
his tent. And Joab returned to Jerusalem unto
the king.
12-7:8 And
when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence
silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.
13-15:1 And
David made him houses in the city of
David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
13-16:1 So
they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered
burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
13-17:5 For
I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this
day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one
tabernacle to another.
14-1:4 But
the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
14-25:22 And
Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent.
19-78:60 So
that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent
which he placed among men;
23-13:20 It
shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to
generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent
there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.
23-38:12 Mine
age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd’s tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with
pining sickness: from day even to
night wilt thou make an end of me.
23-40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of
the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are
as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and
spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
23-54:2 Enlarge
the place of thy tent, and let them stretch
forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen
thy stakes;
24-10:20 My
tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth
of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
24-37:10 For
though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you,
and there remained but wounded men
among them, yet should they rise up
every man in his tent, and burn this city with
fire.
