01-GENESIS
01-2:17 But
of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in
the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt
surely die.
01-2:19 And
out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl
of the air; and brought them unto Adam
to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living
creature, that was the name thereof.
01-2:21 And
the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took
one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
01-3:5 For
God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,
then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
01-3:6 And
when the woman saw that the tree was good
for food, and that it was pleasant to
the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one
wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did
eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
01-4:4 And
Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his
offering:
01-6:16 A
window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above;
and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof;
with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
01-9:4 But
flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
01-40:10 And
in the vine were three branches: and
it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the
clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:
01-40:18 And
Joseph answered and said, This is the
interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:
01-41:8 And
it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and
called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them
unto Pharaoh.
01-45:16 And
the fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh’s house,
saying, Joseph’s brethren are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his
servants.
01-47:21 And
as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.
02-3:20 And
I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do
in the midst thereof: and after that he will let
you go.
02-5:8 And
the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them;
ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be
idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
02-9:18 Behold,
to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as
hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof
even until now.
02-10:26 Our
cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we
know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
02-12:9 Eat
not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
02-12:43 And
the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is
the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
02-12:44 But
every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him,
then shall he eat thereof.
02-12:45 A
foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
02-12:46 In
one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh
abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
02-12:48 And
when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the
LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it;
and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person
shall eat thereof.
02-16:31 And
the house of Israel called the name thereof
Manna: and it was like coriander
seed, white; and the taste of it was like
wafers made with honey.
02-19:18 And
mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in
fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the
smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
02-22:11 Then shall an oath of the LORD be
between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods;
and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.
02-22:12 And
if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.
02-22:14 And
if a man borrow ought of his
neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof
being not with it, he shall surely
make it good.
02-22:15 But if the owner thereof be with it, he
shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
02-23:10 And
six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
02-25:9 According
to all that I shew thee, after the
pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
02-25:10 And
they shall make an ark of shittim
wood: two cubits and a half shall be the
length thereof, and a cubit and a half the
breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the
height thereof.
02-25:12 And
thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof;
and two rings shall be in the one
side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
02-25:17 And
thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure
gold: two cubits and a half shall be the
length thereof, and a cubit and a half the
breadth thereof.
02-25:19 And
make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the
cherubims on the two ends thereof.
02-25:23 Thou
shalt also make a table of shittim
wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
02-25:25 And
thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt
make a golden crown to the border thereof round
about.
02-25:26 And
thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four
corners that are on the four feet thereof.
02-25:29 And
thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof,
and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
02-25:37 And
thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and
they shall light the lamps thereof, that they
may give light over against it.
02-25:38 And
the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall
be of pure gold.
02-26:30 And
thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.
02-27:1 And
thou shalt make an altar of shittim
wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare:
and the height thereof shall be three cubits.
02-27:2 And
thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof:
his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.
02-27:3 And
thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons,
and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof
thou shalt make of brass.
02-27:4 And
thou shalt make for it a grate of network of
brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four
corners thereof.
02-27:10 And
the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty
sockets shall be of brass; the hooks
of the pillars and their fillets shall be
of silver.
02-27:19 All
the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof,
and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of
the court, shall be of brass.
02-28:7 It
shall have the two shoulder pieces thereof
joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together.
02-28:8 And
the curious girdle of the ephod, which is
upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of
gold, of blue, and purple, and
scarlet, and fine twined linen.
02-28:16 Foursquare
it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.
02-28:26 And
thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of
the breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the ephod inward.
02-28:27 And
two other rings of gold thou shalt
make, and shalt put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the
forepart thereof, over against the other coupling thereof,
above the curious girdle of the ephod.
02-28:28 And
they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof
unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the
breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.
02-28:32 And
there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof:
it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were
the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.
02-28:33 And
beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt
make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof;
and bells of gold between them round about:
02-29:33 And
they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger
shall not eat thereof,
because they are holy.
02-29:41 And
the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the
meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire
unto the LORD.
02-30:2 A
cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof
shall be of the same.
02-30:3 And
thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof,
and the sides thereof round about, and the horns
thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of
gold round about.
02-30:4 And
two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two
corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou
make it; and they shall be for places
for the staves to bear it withal.
02-30:37 And
as for the perfume which thou shalt
make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the LORD.
02-35:12 The
ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the
covering,
02-36:29 And
they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in
both the corners.
02-37:6 And
he made the mercy seat of pure gold:
two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
02-37:8 One
cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims
on the two ends thereof.
02-37:10 And
he made the table of shittim wood:
two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof:
02-37:12 Also
he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of
gold for the border thereof round about.
02-37:13 And
he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that
were in the four feet thereof.
02-37:18 And
six branches going out of the sides thereof; three
branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof,
and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
02-37:24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and
all the vessels thereof.
02-37:25 And
he made the incense altar of shittim
wood: the length of it was a cubit,
and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare;
and two cubits was the height of it;
the horns thereof were of the same.
02-37:26 And
he overlaid it with pure gold, both the
top of it, and the sides thereof round about,
and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
02-37:27 And
he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof,
by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof,
to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
02-38:1 And
he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim
wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare;
and three cubits the height thereof.
02-38:2 And
he made the horns thereof on the four corners of
it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he
overlaid it with brass.
02-38:3 And
he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the
basons, and the fleshhooks, and the
firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.
02-38:4 And
he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.
02-39:5 And
the curious girdle of his ephod, that was
upon it, was of the same,
according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and
fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-39:9 It
was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span
the breadth thereof, being doubled.
02-39:20 And
they made two other golden rings, and
put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it,
over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
02-39:35 The
ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof,
and the mercy seat,
02-39:36 The
table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,
02-39:37 The
pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even
with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
02-40:4 And
thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set
in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
02-40:9 And
thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all
the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
02-40:18 And
Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards
thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.
03-1:15 And
the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:
03-1:17 And
he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it
upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon
the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an
offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-2:2 And
he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his
handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it
upon the altar, to be an offering
made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
03-2:9 And
the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon
the altar: it is an offering made by
fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
03-2:16 And
the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part
of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof,
with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the
LORD.
03-3:8 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the
tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.
03-3:9 And
he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire
unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off
hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat
that is upon the inwards,
03-3:13 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of
the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.
03-3:14 And
he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the
LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
03-4:30 And
the priest shall take of the blood thereof with
his finger, and put it upon the horns
of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
03-4:31 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the
fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest
shall burn it upon the altar for a
sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and
it shall be forgiven him.
03-4:34 And
the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put
it upon the horns of the altar of
burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof
at the bottom of the altar:
03-4:35 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the
fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and
the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by
fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he
hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
03-5:12 Then
shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof,
and burn it on the altar, according
to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
03-6:15 And
he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the
oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall
burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.
03-6:16 And
the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons
eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of
the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.
03-6:20 This
is the offering of Aaron and of his
sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the
tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it
in the morning, and half thereof at night.
03-6:27 Whatsoever
shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and
when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof
upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy
place.
03-6:29 All
the males among the priests shall eat thereof:
it is most holy.
03-7:2 In
the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass
offering: and the blood thereof shall he
sprinkle round about upon the altar.
03-7:3 And
he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the
rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards,
03-7:6 Every
male among the priests shall eat thereof: it
shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most
holy.
03-7:19 And
the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing
shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all
that be clean shall eat thereof.
03-8:11 And
he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times,
and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to
sanctify them.
03-9:13 And
they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.
03-9:17 And
he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof,
and burnt it upon the altar, beside
the burnt sacrifice of the morning.
03-11:39 And
if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
03-13:4 If
the bright spot be white in the skin
of his flesh, and in sight be not
deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be
not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:
03-13:18 The
flesh also, in which, even in the
skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,
03-13:20 And
if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be
in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof
be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the
boil.
03-14:45 And
he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall
carry them forth out of the city into
an unclean place.
03-17:13 And
whatsoever man there be of the
children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth
and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the
blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
03-17:14 For
it is the life of all flesh; the
blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel,
Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof:
whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
03-18:25 And
the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof
upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
03-19:23 And
when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees
for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof
as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall
not be eaten of.
03-19:24 But
in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall
be holy to praise the LORD withal.
03-19:25 And
in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof,
that it may yield unto you the increase thereof:
I am the LORD your God.
03-22:13 But
if the priest’s daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is
returned unto her father’s house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her
father’s meat: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.
03-22:14 And
if a man eat of the holy thing
unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part
thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.
03-22:24 Ye
shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or
cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.
03-23:10 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land
which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof,
then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
03-23:13 And
the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an
offering made by fire unto the LORD for a
sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
03-24:5 And
thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof:
two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
03-25:3 Six
years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard,
and gather in the fruit thereof;
03-25:7 And
for thy cattle, and for the beast that are
in thy land, shall all the increase thereof
be meat.
03-25:10 And
ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall
return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his
family.
03-25:12 For
it is the jubile; it shall be holy
unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out
of the field.
03-25:16 According
to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish
the price of it: for according to the
number of the years of the fruits
doth he sell unto thee.
03-25:27 Then
let him count the years of the sale thereof, and
restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto
his possession.
03-27:10 He
shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and
if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.
03-27:13 But
if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.
03-27:16 And
if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some
part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according
to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of
silver.
03-27:21 But
the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a
field devoted; the possession thereof shall be
the priest’s.
03-27:31 And
if a man will at all redeem ought of
his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part
thereof.
03-27:33 He
shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if
he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof
shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.
04-1:50 But
thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all
the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the
tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and
they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
04-2:6 And
his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four
hundred.
04-2:8 And
his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four
hundred.
04-2:11 And
his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five
hundred.
04-3:25 And
the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the
covering thereof, and the hanging for the door
of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-3:26 And
the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar
round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.
04-3:31 And
their charge shall be the ark, and
the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the
sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
04-3:36 And
under the custody and charge of the
sons of Merari shall be the boards of
the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the
pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof,
and all that serveth thereto,
04-4:6 And
shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put
in the staves thereof.
04-4:8 And
they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a
covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
04-4:9 And
they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and
his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
04-4:10 And
they shall put it and all the vessels thereof
within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
04-4:11 And
upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a
covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
04-4:14 And
they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof,
wherewith they minister about it, even the
censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of
the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put
to the staves of it.
04-4:16 And
to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the
daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and
the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels
thereof.
04-4:31 And
this is the charge of their burden,
according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the
boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof,
and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
04-5:7 Then
they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his
trespass with the principal thereof, and add
unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it
unto him against whom he hath
trespassed.
04-5:26 And
the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall
cause the woman to drink the water.
04-7:1 And
it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had
anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;
04-7:13 And
his offering was one silver charger,
the weight thereof was an hundred and thirty shekels,
one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both
of them were full of fine flour
mingled with oil for a meat offering:
04-8:3 And
Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over
against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-8:4 And
this work of the candlestick was of beaten
gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten
work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made
the candlestick.
04-8:25 And
from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and
shall serve no more:
04-9:3 In
the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed
season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
04-9:14 And
if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the
LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance,
both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
04-11:7 And
the manna was as coriander seed, and
the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
04-13:32 And
they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the
children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants
thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
04-18:28 Thus
ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which
ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD’S heave offering to Aaron the priest.
04-18:29 Out
of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the
best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out
of it.
04-18:30 Therefore
thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof
from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the
threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.
04-21:25 And
Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the
Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.
04-21:32 And
Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.
04-26:56 According
to the lot shall the possession thereof be
divided between many and few.
04-28:7 And
the drink offering thereof shall be the fourth part of
an hin for the one lamb: in the holy place
shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD for a drink offering.
04-28:8 And
the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning,
and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt
offer it, a sacrifice made by fire,
of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
04-28:9 And
on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth
deals of flour for a meat offering,
mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof:
04-29:19 And
one kid of the goats for a sin
offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering thereof, and their drink offerings.
04-32:33 And
Moses gave unto them, even to the
children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of
Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom
of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof
in the coasts, even the cities of the
country round about.
04-32:41 And
Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof,
and called them Havothjair.
04-32:42 And
Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof,
and called it Nobah, after his own name.
04-34:2 Command
the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of
Canaan; (this is the land that shall
fall unto you for an inheritance, even the
land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
04-34:4 And
your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to
Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from
the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:
04-34:12 And
the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the
salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof
round about.
05-3:11 For
only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of
Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the
cubit of a man.
05-3:12 And
this land, which we possessed at that
time, from Aroer, which is by the
river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof,
gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.
05-3:17 The
plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the
plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdothpisgah
eastward.
05-9:21 And
I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and
stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.
05-12:15 Notwithstanding
thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth
after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee:
the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of
the roebuck, and as of the hart.
05-13:15 Thou
shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword,
destroying it utterly, and all that is therein,
and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the
sword.
05-13:16 And
thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all
the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy
God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
05-15:23 Only
thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt
pour it upon the ground as water.
05-20:13 And
when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite
every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
05-20:14 But
the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt
eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
05-20:19 When
thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it,
thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by
forcing an ax against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut
them down (for the tree of the field is man’s
life) to employ them in the siege:
05-26:14 I
have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither
have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean
use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the
LORD my God, and have done according
to all that thou hast commanded me.
05-28:30 Thou
shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an
house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt
not gather the grapes thereof.
05-28:31 Thine
ox shall be slain before thine eyes,
and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from
before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and
thou shalt have none to rescue them.
05-29:23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone,
and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor
any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah,
and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
05-33:16 And
for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof,
and for the good will of him that
dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come
upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
06-6:2 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the
king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.
06-6:26 And
Joshua adjured them at that time,
saying, Cursed be the man before the
LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the
foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his
youngest son shall he set up the
gates of it.
06-7:14 In
the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it
shall be, that the tribe which the
LORD taketh shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which the
LORD shall take shall come by households; and the household which the LORD
shall take shall come man by man.
06-8:2 And
thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only
the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay
thee an ambush for the city behind it.
06-9:1 And
it came to pass, when all the kings which were
on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the
coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the
Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;
06-10:2 That
they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a
great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all the men thereof
were mighty.
06-10:28 And
that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the
king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all
the souls that were therein; he let
none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of
Jericho.
06-10:30 And
the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof,
into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all
the souls that were therein; he let
none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof
as he did unto the king of Jericho.
06-10:37 And
they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof,
and all the souls that were therein;
he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but
destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.
06-10:39 And
he took it, and the king thereof, and all the
cities thereof; and they smote them with the
edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as
he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her
king.
06-11:10 And
Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the
head of all those kingdoms.
06-13:23 And
the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This
was the inheritance of the children
of Reuben after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
06-15:7 And
the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward,
looking toward Gilgal, that is before
the going up to Adummim, which is on
the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of
Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at
Enrogel:
06-15:12 And
the west border was to the great sea,
and the coast thereof.
This is the coast of the children
of Judah round about according to their families.
06-15:47 Ashdod
with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the
river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
06-16:3 And
goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the
nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof
are at the sea.
06-16:8 The
border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their
families.
06-18:12 And
their border on the north side was from Jordan; and the border went up to the
side of Jericho on the north side, and went up through the mountains westward;
and the goings out thereof were at the
wilderness of Bethaven.
06-18:14 And
the border was drawn thence, and
compassed the corner of the sea southward, from the hill that lieth before Bethhoron southward; and
the goings out thereof were at Kirjathbaal,
which is Kirjathjearim, a city of the
children of Judah: this was the west
quarter.
06-18:20 And
Jordan was the border of it on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according to their families.
06-19:14 And
the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthahel:
06-19:29 And
then the coast turneth to Ramah, and
to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:
06-19:33 And
their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and
Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof
were at Jordan:
06-21:2 And
they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD
commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
06-21:11 And
they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country
of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round
about it.
06-21:12 But
the fields of the city, and the villages thereof,
gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
06-22:7 Now
to the one half of the tribe of
Manasseh Moses had given possession in
Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side
Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he
blessed them,
06-23:14 And,
behold, this day I am going the way
of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that
not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake
concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
07-1:18 Also
Judah took Gaza with the coast thereof, and
Askelon with the coast thereof, and Ekron with
the coast thereof.
07-1:26 And
the man went into the land of the Hittites, and built a city, and called the
name thereof Luz: which is the name thereof unto this day.
07-3:2 Only
that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war,
at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;
07-5:23 Curse
ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the
LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
07-7:15 And
it was so, when Gideon heard the
telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof,
that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for
the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.
07-8:14 And
caught a young man of the men of Succoth, and enquired of him: and he described
unto him the princes of Succoth, and the elders thereof,
even threescore and seventeen men.
07-8:27 And
Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his
city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel
went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to
his house.
07-14:9 And
he took thereof in his hands, and went on
eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat:
but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the
lion.
07-15:19 But
God clave an hollow place that was in
the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came
again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof
Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this
day.
07-17:4 Yet
he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the
founder, who made thereof a graven image and a
molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
09-5:6 But
the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and
smote them with emerods, even Ashdod
and the coasts thereof.
09-6:8 And
take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold,
which ye return him for a trespass
offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and
send it away, that it may go.
09-7:14 And
the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel,
from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof
did Israel deliver out of the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace
between Israel and the Amorites.
09-17:51 Therefore
David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out
of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off
his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they
fled.
09-20:20 And
I will shoot three arrows on the side thereof, as though I shot at a mark.
09-28:24 And
the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took
flour, and kneaded it, and did bake
unleavened bread thereof:
10-20:8 When
they were at the great stone which is in Gibeon, Amasa went before them.
And Joab’s garment that he had put on was girded unto him, and upon it a girdle
with a sword fastened upon his loins
in the sheath thereof; and as he went forth it
fell out.
10-23:16 And
the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water
out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by
the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not
drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD.
11-2:32 And
the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more
righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not
knowing thereof,
to wit, Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the
son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.
11-3:27 Then
the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it:
she is the mother thereof.
11-6:2 And
the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore
cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.
11-6:3 And
the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to
the breadth of the house; and ten
cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.
11-6:20 And
the oracle in the forepart was twenty
cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height
thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.
11-6:38 And
in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the
parts thereof, and according to all the fashion
of it. So was he seven years in building it.
11-7:2 He
built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an
hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty
cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits,
upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
11-7:6 And
he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch was before them: and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them.
11-7:21 And
he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right
pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and
he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof
Boaz.
11-7:26 And
it was an hand breadth thick, and the
brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup,
with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.
11-7:27 And
he made ten bases of brass; four cubits was
the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.
11-7:30 And
every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of
every addition.
11-7:31 And
the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the
mouth of it were gravings with their
borders, foursquare, not round.
11-7:35 And
in the top of the base was there a
round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof
were of the same.
11-7:36 For
on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the
borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and
palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round
about.
11-8:7 For
the cherubims spread forth their two
wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the
staves thereof above.
11-13:26 And
when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient
unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion,
which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he
spake unto him.
11-15:21 And
it came to pass, when Baasha heard thereof, that he left off building of Ramah, and
dwelt in Tirzah.
11-15:22 Then
king Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted: and they took away the stones of Ramah, and the
timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had builded;
and king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
11-16:34 In
his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by
Joshua the son of Nun.
11-17:13 And
Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do
as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little
cake first, and bring it unto me, and
after make for thee and for thy son.
12-2:12 And
Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father,
my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.
And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in
two pieces.
12-3:25 And
they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his
stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all
the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.
12-4:39 And
one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and
gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and
came and shred them into the pot of
pottage: for they knew them not.
12-4:40 So
they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of
the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death
in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.
12-4:42 And
there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the
firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they
may eat.
12-4:43 And
his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said
again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall
eat, and shall leave thereof.
12-4:44 So
he set it before them, and they did
eat, and left thereof,
according to the word of the LORD.
12-7:2 Then
a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold,
if the LORD would make windows in
heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
12-7:19 And
that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And
he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
12-13:14 Now
Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of
Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my
father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.
12-15:16 Then
Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein,
and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they
opened not to him, therefore he smote
it; and all the women therein that
were with child he ripped up.
12-16:10 And
king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and saw an
altar that was at Damascus: and king
Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of the altar, and the pattern of it,
according to all the workmanship thereof.
12-17:24 And
the king of Assyria brought men from
Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim,
and placed them in the cities of
Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and
dwelt in the cities thereof.
12-18:8 He
smote the Philistines, even unto
Gaza, and the borders thereof, from the tower of
the watchmen to the fenced city.
12-19:23 By
thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude
of my chariots I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of
Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees thereof,
and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his
borders, and into the forest of his
Carmel.
12-19:29 And
this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye
shall eat this year such things as grow of themselves, and in the second year
that which springeth of the same; and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and
plant vineyards, and eat the fruits thereof.
12-22:16 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the
inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:
12-22:19 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou
heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a
curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.
12-23:6 And
he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without Jerusalem, unto
the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.
13-2:23 And
he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and
the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.
13-6:55 And
they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.
13-6:56 But
the fields of the city, and the villages thereof,
they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
13-7:28 And
their possessions and habitations were, Bethel
and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and
westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem
also and the towns thereof, unto Gaza and the
towns thereof:
13-8:12 The
sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the
towns thereof:
13-9:27 And
they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.
13-16:32 Let
the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the
fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
13-21:27 And
the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof.
13-23:26 And
also unto the Levites; they shall no more
carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
13-28:11 Then
David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof,
and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the
place of the mercy seat,
13-28:15 Even
the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight
for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof:
and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also
for the lamps thereof, according to the use
of every candlestick.
14-3:7 He
overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof,
with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
14-3:8 And
he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the
breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid
it with fine gold, amounting to six
hundred talents.
14-4:1 Moreover
he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof,
and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten
cubits the height thereof.
14-4:2 Also
he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and
five cubits the height thereof; and a line of
thirty cubits did compass it round about.
14-4:22 And
the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the
house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy
place, and the doors of the house of
the temple, were of gold.
14-5:8 For
the cherubims spread forth their wings
over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
14-13:11 And
they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and
sweet incense: the shewbread also set
they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the
lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we
keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him.
14-13:19 And
Abijah pursued after Jeroboam, and took cities from him, Bethel with the towns thereof, and Jeshanah with the towns thereof, and Ephrain with the towns thereof.
14-16:6 Then
Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the
timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building;
and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.
14-28:18 The
Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of
Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the
villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there.
14-29:18 Then
they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of
the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels
thereof.
14-32:1 After
these things, and the establishment thereof,
Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against
the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.
14-34:24 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the
inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have
read before the king of Judah:
14-34:27 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou
heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst
rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.
14-36:19 And
they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt
all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed
all the goodly vessels thereof.
15-4:12 Be
it known unto the king, that the Jews which came up from thee to us are come
unto Jerusalem, building the rebellious and the bad city, and have set up the
walls thereof,
and joined the foundations.
15-4:16 We
certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up,
by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river.
15-6:3 In
the first year of Cyrus the king the same
Cyrus the king made a decree concerning
the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where
they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof
be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore
cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits;
15-9:9 For
we were bondmen; yet our God hath not
forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the
kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to
repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a
wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
15-10:14 Let
now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken
strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders
of every city, and the judges thereof, until the
fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.
16-1:3 And
they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the
province are in great affliction and
reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken
down, and the gates thereof are burned with
fire.
16-2:3 And
said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance
be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’ sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?
16-2:13 And
I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and
to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down,
and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.
16-2:17 Then
said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste,
and the gates thereof are burned with fire:
come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
16-3:3 But
the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set
up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
16-3:6 Moreover
the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of
Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set
up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
16-3:13 The
valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and
set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof,
and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
16-3:14 But
the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of
Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof,
the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
16-3:15 But
the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of
part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof,
and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool
of Siloah by the king’s garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city
of David.
16-4:6 So
built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
16-6:16 And
it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they
perceived that this work was wrought of our God.
16-9:36 Behold,
we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our
fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it:
16-11:25 And
for the villages, with their fields, some
of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjatharba, and in the villages thereof, and at
Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,
16-11:27 And
at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba, and in the
villages thereof,
16-11:28 And
at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,
16-11:30 Zanoah,
Adullam, and in their villages, at
Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof.
And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
16-13:14 Remember
me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done
for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.
17-1:22 For
he sent letters into all the king’s provinces, into every province according to
the writing thereof, and to every people after
their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the
language of every people.
17-2:22 And
the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it
unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai’s name.
17-3:12 Then
were the king’s scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and
there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king’s
lieutenants, and to the governors that were
over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province
according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in
the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king’s ring.
17-8:9 Then
were the king’s scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and
twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai
commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of
the provinces which are from India
unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province
according to the writing thereof, and unto every
people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and
according to their language.
17-9:18 But
the Jews that were at Shushan
assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof, and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth day
of the same they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.
18-3:9 Let
the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let
it look for light, but have none;
neither let it see the dawning of the day:
18-4:12 Now
a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
18-4:16 It
stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof:
an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
18-9:6 Which
shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof
tremble.
18-9:24 The
earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges
thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
18-11:9 The
measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
18-14:7 For
there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that
the tender branch thereof will not cease.
18-14:8 Though
the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the
stock thereof die in the ground;
18-15:29 He
shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he
prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth.
18-24:2 Some remove the landmarks; they
violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
18-24:13 They
are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
18-26:5 Dead
things are formed from under the
waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
18-28:13 Man
knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it
found in the land of the living.
18-28:15 It
cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.
18-28:22 Destruction
and death say, We have heard the fame thereof
with our ears.
18-28:23 God
understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth
the place thereof.
18-31:17 Or
have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless hath not eaten thereof;
18-31:38 If
my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof
complain;
18-31:39 If
I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or
have caused the owners thereof to lose their
life:
18-36:27 For
he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour
thereof:
18-36:33 The
noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle
also concerning the vapour.
18-38:5 Who
hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest?
or who hath stretched the line upon it?
18-38:6 Whereupon
are the foundations thereof fastened? or who
laid the corner stone thereof;
18-38:9 When
I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick
darkness a swaddlingband for it,
18-38:19 Where
is the way where light dwelleth? and as
for darkness, where is the place thereof,
18-38:20 That
thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and
that thou shouldest know the paths to the
house thereof?
18-38:33 Knowest
thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
19-19:6 His
going forth is from the end of the
heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the
heat thereof.
19-24:1 The
earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
19-34:2 My
soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and
be glad.
19-46:3 Though the waters thereof roar and
be troubled, though the mountains
shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
19-48:12 Walk
about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
19-50:1 The
mighty God, even the LORD, hath
spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
19-50:12 If
I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
19-55:10 Day
and night they go about it upon the walls thereof:
mischief also and sorrow are in the
midst of it.
19-55:11 Wickedness
is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
19-60:2 Thou
hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
19-65:10 Thou
waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou
settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it
soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
19-71:15 My
mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and
thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
19-72:16 There
shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the
fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like
grass of the earth.
19-74:6 But
now they break down the carved work thereof at
once with axes and hammers.
19-75:3 The
earth and all the inhabitants thereof are
dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
19-75:8 For
in the hand of the LORD there is a
cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the
same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of
the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
19-80:10 The
hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were
like the goodly cedars.
19-89:9 Thou
rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof
arise, thou stillest them.
19-89:11 The
heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof,
thou hast founded them.
19-96:11 Let
the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the
fulness thereof.
19-97:1 The
LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
19-98:7 Let
the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the
world, and they that dwell therein.
19-102:14 For
thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
19-103:16 For
the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
19-107:25 For
he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
19-107:29 He
maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof
are still.
19-137:2 We
hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
19-137:7 Remember,
O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.
20-1:19 So
are the ways of every one that is greedy
of gain; which taketh away the life
of the owners thereof.
20-3:14 For
the merchandise of it is better than
the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof
than fine gold.
20-12:28 In
the way of righteousness is life; and
in the pathway thereof there is no death.
20-14:12 There
is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof
are the ways of death.
20-16:25 There
is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof
are the ways of death.
20-16:33 The
lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof
is of the LORD.
20-18:21 Death
and life are in the power of the
tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
20-20:21 An
inheritance may be gotten hastily at
the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be
blessed.
20-21:22 A
wise man scaleth the city of the
mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.
20-24:31 And,
lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and
nettles had covered the face thereof, and
the stone wall thereof was broken down.
20-25:8 Go
not forth hastily to strive, lest thou
know not what to do in the end thereof, when
thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.
20-27:18 Whoso
keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof:
so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
20-28:2 For
the transgression of a land many are the
princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall
be prolonged.
21-5:11 When
goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
21-5:13 There
is a sore evil which I have seen
under the sun, namely, riches kept
for the owners thereof to their hurt.
21-5:19 Every
man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to
eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to
rejoice in his labour; this is the
gift of God.
21-6:2 A
man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing
for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.
21-7:8 Better
is the end of a thing than the
beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better
than the proud in spirit.
22-1:12 While
the king sitteth at his table, my
spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.
22-3:10 He
made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.
22-4:16 Awake,
O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow
out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.
22-7:8 I
said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of
the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;
22-8:6 Set
me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals
of fire, which hath a most vehement
flame.
22-8:11 Solomon
had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one
for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver.
22-8:12 My
vineyard, which is mine, is before me: thou, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that
keep the fruit thereof two hundred.
23-3:14 The
LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil
of the poor is in your houses.
23-4:4 When
the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have
purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof
by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
23-5:2 And
he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof,
and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and
also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes,
and it brought forth wild grapes.
23-5:5 And
now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the
hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
23-5:30 And
in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in
the heavens thereof.
23-6:13 But
yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as
a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is
in them, when they cast their leaves:
so the holy seed shall be the
substance thereof.
23-13:9 Behold,
the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the
land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof
out of it.
23-13:10 For
the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof
shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and
the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
23-14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and
destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his
prisoners?
23-15:8 For
the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beerelim.
23-16:8 For
the fields of Heshbon languish, and the
vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through
the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
23-17:6 Yet
gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the
uppermost bough, four or five in the
outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the
LORD God of Israel.
23-19:3 And
the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof;
and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they
shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar
spirits, and to the wizards.
23-19:10 And
they shall be broken in the purposes thereof,
all that make sluices and ponds for
fish.
23-19:13 The
princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have
also seduced Egypt, even they that are the
stay of the tribes thereof.
23-19:14 The
LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof:
and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof,
as a drunken man staggereth in his
vomit.
23-19:17 And
the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the
counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
23-19:19 In
that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt,
and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
23-21:2 A
grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth
treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all
the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
23-22:11 Ye
made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye
have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither
had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.
23-23:11 He
stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD hath given
a commandment against the merchant city, to
destroy the strong holds thereof.
23-23:13 Behold
the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness:
they set up the towers thereof, they raised up
the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin.
23-24:1 Behold,
the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside
down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
23-24:5 The
earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof;
because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the
everlasting covenant.
23-24:20 The
earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a
cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be
heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
23-27:10 Yet
the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left
like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and
consume the branches thereof.
23-27:11 When
the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be
broken off: the women come, and set
them on fire: for it is a people of
no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and
he that formed them will shew them no favour.
23-28:25 When
he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not
cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal
wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?
23-30:27 Behold,
the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of
indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
23-30:33 For
Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for
the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep
and large: the pile thereof is fire
and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle
it.
23-31:4 For
thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring
on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice,
nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down
to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
23-33:20 Look
upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet
habitation, a tabernacle that shall
not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof
shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof
be broken.
23-34:9 And
the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch,
and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the
land thereof shall become burning pitch.
23-34:10 It
shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof
shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none
shall pass through it for ever and ever.
23-34:12 They
shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom,
but none shall be there, and all her
princes shall be nothing.
23-34:13 And
thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.
23-37:24 By
thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of
my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of
Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof,
and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his
border, and the forest of his Carmel.
23-37:30 And
this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye
shall eat this year such as groweth
of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the
third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
23-40:6 The
voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof
is as the flower of the field:
23-40:16 And
Lebanon is not sufficient to burn,
nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt
offering.
23-40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of
the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out
the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
23-41:9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of
the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof,
and said unto thee, Thou art my
servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
23-42:10 Sing
unto the LORD a new song, and his
praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is
therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
23-42:11 Let
the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the
inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
23-44:15 Then
shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof,
and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and
baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
23-44:16 He
burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is
satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and
saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
23-44:17 And
the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down
unto it, and worshippeth it, and
prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
23-44:19 And
none considereth in his heart, neither is
there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the
fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof;
I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and
shall I make the residue thereof an abomination?
shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
23-44:26 That
confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his
messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities
of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
23-48:19 Thy
seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel
thereof; his name should not have been cut off
nor destroyed from before me.
23-62:1 For
Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
until the righteousness thereof go forth as
brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
24-1:13 And
the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And
I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof
is toward the north.
24-1:15 For,
lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD;
and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of
the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof
round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
24-1:18 For,
behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and
brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the
princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
24-2:7 And
I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof;
but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.
24-4:26 I
beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a
wilderness, and all the cities thereof were
broken down at the presence of the LORD, and
by his fierce anger.
24-5:1 Run
ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek
in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a
man, if there be any that executeth
judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.
24-5:22 Fear
ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have
placed the sand for the bound of the sea
by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail;
though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
24-5:31 The
prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my
people love to have it so: and what
will ye do in the end thereof?
24-6:24 We
have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax
feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and
pain, as of a woman in travail.
24-11:19 But
I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had
devised devices against me, saying, Let
us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and
let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more
remembered.
24-14:2 Judah
mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they
are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.
24-14:8 O
the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time
of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring
man that turneth aside to tarry for a
night?
24-17:27 But
if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a
burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then
will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and
it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
24-19:8 And
I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby
shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.
24-19:12 Thus
will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and even
make this city as Tophet:
24-20:5 Moreover
I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will
I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them,
and carry them to Babylon.
24-21:14 But
I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I
will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it
shall devour all things round about it.
24-23:14 I
have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit
adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that
none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom,
and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
24-25:9 Behold,
I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and
Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this
land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and
against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make
them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
24-25:18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of
Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment,
an hissing, and a curse; as it is this
day;
24-26:15 But
know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent
blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you
to speak all these words in your ears.
24-29:7 And
seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away
captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
24-30:18 Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and
have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own
heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
24-31:23 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech
in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof,
when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of
justice, and mountain of holiness.
24-31:24 And
there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
24-31:35 Thus
saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by
night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof
roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
24-33:2 Thus
saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that
formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his
name;
24-33:12 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and
without beast, and in all the cities thereof,
shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their
flocks to lie down.
24-34:1 The
word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of
Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion,
and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,
24-34:18 And
I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not
performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they
cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof.
24-46:8 Egypt
riseth up like a flood, and his waters
are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, and will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the
inhabitants thereof.
24-46:22 The
voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they
shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood.
24-48:9 Give
wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell
therein.
24-48:38 There shall be lamentation generally
upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof:
for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.
24-49:13 For
I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation,
a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof
shall be perpetual wastes.
24-49:17 Also
Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and
shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
24-49:18 As
in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man
shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
24-49:21 The
earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.
24-49:32 And
their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I
will scatter into all winds them that are
in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the LORD.
24-50:29 Call
together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it
round about; let none thereof escape: recompense
her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her:
for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.
24-50:40 As
God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so shall no man abide there, neither
shall any son of man dwell therein.
24-51:28 Prepare
against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof,
and all the land of his dominion.
24-51:42 The
sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.
24-52:21 And
concerning the pillars, the height of
one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a
fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was four
fingers: it was hollow.
25-2:2 The
Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he
hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he
hath brought them down to the ground:
he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.
25-4:11 The
LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath
kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof.
26-1:4 And
I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a
fire infolding itself, and a brightness was
about it, and out of the midst thereof as
the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
26-1:5 Also
out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the
likeness of a man.
26-4:9 Take
thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and
fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according
to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred
and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
26-5:3 Thou
shalt also take thereof a few in number, and
bind them in thy skirts.
26-5:4 Then
take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in
the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
26-7:12 The
time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller
mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude
thereof.
26-7:13 For
the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet
alive: for the vision is touching the
whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the
iniquity of his life.
26-7:14 They
have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle:
for my wrath is upon all the
multitude thereof.
26-9:4 And
the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem,
and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the
abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
26-10:7 And
one cherub stretched forth his hand
from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who
took it, and went out.
26-11:6 Ye
have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
26-11:9 And
I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and
deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
26-11:11 This
city shall not be your caldron,
neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof;
but I will judge you in the border of
Israel:
26-11:18 And
they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
26-13:14 So
will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground,
so that the foundation thereof shall be
discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-14:13 Son
of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I
stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut
off man and beast from it:
26-15:3 Shall
wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel
thereon?
26-17:6 And
it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned
toward him, and the roots thereof were under
him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs.
26-17:9 Say
thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots
thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the
leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by
the roots thereof.
26-17:12 Say
now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold,
the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof,
and led them with him to Babylon;
26-17:23 In
the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth
boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all
fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof
shall they dwell.
26-19:7 And
he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land
was desolate, and the fulness thereof, by the
noise of his roaring.
26-20:29 Then
I said unto them, What is the high
place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is
called Bamah unto this day.
26-22:21 Yea,
I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be
melted in the midst thereof.
26-22:22 As
silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the
midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD
have poured out my fury upon you.
26-22:25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in
the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening
the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious
things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.
26-22:27 Her
princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to
shed blood, and to destroy souls, to
get dishonest gain.
26-23:34 Thou
shalt even drink it and suck it out,
and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck
off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it,
saith the Lord GOD.
26-24:4 Gather
the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
26-24:11 Then
set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the
brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that
the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.
26-27:9 The
ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the
sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.
26-31:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a
mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I
caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for
him.
26-32:7 And
when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and
the moon shall not give her light.
26-32:12 By
the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of
the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the
multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
26-32:13 I
will destroy also all the beasts thereof from
beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more,
nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
26-38:13 Sheba,
and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil?
hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold,
to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
26-40:6 Then
came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other
threshold of the gate, which was one
reed broad.
26-40:9 Then
measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.
26-40:20 And
the gate of the outward court that looked toward the north, he measured the
length thereof, and the breadth thereof.
26-40:21 And
the little chambers thereof were three on this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof
were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof
was fifty cubits, and the breadth
five and twenty cubits.
26-40:22 And
their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the east; and
they went up unto it by seven steps; and the arches thereof
were before them.
26-40:24 After
that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he
measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures.
26-40:25 And
there were windows in it and in the
arches thereof round about, like those windows:
the length was fifty cubits, and the
breadth five and twenty cubits.
26-40:26 And
there were seven steps to go up to
it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palm trees, one on this side, and
another on that side, upon the posts thereof.
26-40:29 And
the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof,
according to these measures: and there
were windows in it and in the arches thereof
round about: it was fifty cubits
long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
26-40:31 And
the arches thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof: and the
going up to it had eight steps.
26-40:33 And
the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof,
were according to these measures: and
there were windows therein and in the
arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.
26-40:34 And
the arches thereof were toward the outward court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this
side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.
26-40:36 The
little chambers thereof, the posts thereof, and the arches thereof,
and the windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.
26-40:37 And
the posts thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this
side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.
26-40:38 And
the chambers and the entries thereof were by the posts of the gates, where
they washed the burnt offering.
26-41:2 And
the breadth of the door was ten
cubits: and the sides of the door were five
cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the
length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth,
twenty cubits.
26-41:4 So
he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits;
and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.
26-41:12 Now
the building that was before the
separate place at the end toward the west was
seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.
26-41:13 So
he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the
building, with the walls thereof, an hundred
cubits long;
26-41:15 And
he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an
hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;
26-41:22 The
altar of wood was three cubits high,
and the length thereof two cubits; and the
corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof,
were of wood: and he said unto me,
This is the table that is before the LORD.
26-42:7 And
the wall that was without over
against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers,
the length thereof was fifty cubits.
26-43:11 And
if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house,
and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof,
and all the forms thereof, and all the
ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof:
and write it in their sight, that
they may keep the whole form thereof, and all
the ordinances thereof, and do them.
26-43:12 This
is the law of the house; Upon the top
of the mountain the whole limit thereof round
about shall be most holy. Behold,
this is the law of the house.
26-43:13 And
these are the measures of the altar
after the cubits: The cubit is a
cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall
be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round
about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
26-43:16 And
the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the
four squares thereof.
26-43:17 And
the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the
four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be
a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.
26-43:20 And
thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the
four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou
cleanse and purge it.
26-44:5 And
the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and
hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of
the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof;
and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the
sanctuary.
26-44:14 But
I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
26-45:1 Moreover,
when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an
oblation unto the LORD, an holy portion of the land: the length shall be the length of five and twenty
thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand. This shall be holy in all the borders thereof round about.
26-45:2 Of
this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred in length, with five hundred in
breadth, square round about; and fifty cubits round about for the suburbs thereof.
26-45:11 The
ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth
part of an homer, and the ephah the tenth part of an homer: the measure thereof shall be after the homer.
26-46:8 And
when the prince shall enter, he shall go in by the way of the porch of that gate, and he shall go forth by the
way thereof.
26-46:16 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the
inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall be their possession by
inheritance.
26-47:11 But
the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to
salt.
26-47:12 And
by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side
and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade,
neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it
shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they
issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof
shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for
medicine.
26-48:10 And
for them, even for the priests, shall
be this holy oblation; toward the
north five and twenty thousand in length,
and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten
thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length:
and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.
26-48:15 And
the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and
twenty thousand, shall be a profane place
for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the
midst thereof.
26-48:16 And
these shall be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five
hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east
side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five
hundred.
26-48:18 And
the residue in length over against the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward,
and ten thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the
holy portion; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the
city.
26-48:21 And
the residue shall be for the prince,
on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of
the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the
east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the
west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy
oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall
be in the midst thereof.
27-1:5 And
the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine
which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.
27-2:5 The
king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will
not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses
shall be made a dunghill.
27-2:6 But
if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof,
ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me
the dream, and the interpretation thereof.
27-2:9 But
if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and
corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me
the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.
27-2:26 The
king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream
which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?
27-2:31 Thou,
O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and
the form thereof was terrible.
27-2:36 This
is the dream; and we will tell the
interpretation thereof before the king.
27-2:45 Forasmuch
as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and
that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the
gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass
hereafter: and the dream is certain,
and the interpretation thereof sure.
27-3:1 Nebuchadnezzar
the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the
breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the
plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
27-4:7 Then
came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and
I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the
interpretation thereof.
27-4:9 O
Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the
holy gods is in thee, and no secret
troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the
interpretation thereof.
27-4:10 Thus
were the visions of mine head in my
bed; I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great.
27-4:11 The
tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof
reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to
the end of all the earth:
27-4:12 The
leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof
much, and in it was meat for all: the
beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in
the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.
27-4:18 This
dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the
interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the
wise men of my kingdom are not able
to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
27-4:19 Then
Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,
was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and
said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said,
My lord, the dream be to them that
hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to
thine enemies.
27-4:20 The
tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto
the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the
earth;
27-4:21 Whose
leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and
upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:
27-4:23 And
whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and
saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and
brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of
heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till
seven times pass over him;
27-5:7 The
king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the
soothsayers. And the king spake, and
said to the wise men of Babylon,
Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and
shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-5:8 Then
came in all the king’s wise men: but
they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof.
27-5:15 And
now the wise men, the astrologers,
have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make
known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they
could not shew the interpretation of the thing:
27-5:16 And
I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve
doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the
interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed
with scarlet, and have a chain of
gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-7:4 The
first was like a lion, and had
eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof
were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet
as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
27-9:26 And
after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:
and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the
sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end
of the war desolations are determined.
28-2:9 Therefore
will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof,
and my wine in the season thereof, and will
recover my wool and my flax given to cover
her nakedness.
28-4:13 They
sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills,
under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof
is good: therefore your daughters
shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.
28-8:14 For
Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath
multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall
devour the palaces thereof.
28-9:4 They
shall not offer wine offerings to the
LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of
mourners; all that eat thereof shall be
polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the
LORD.
28-10:5 The
inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the
people thereof shall mourn over it, and the
priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof,
because it is departed from it.
28-14:7 They
that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the
scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
29-1:7 He
hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare,
and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
30-1:3 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not
turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with
threshing instruments of iron:
30-1:6 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn
away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole
captivity, to deliver them up to
Edom:
30-1:7 But
I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:
30-1:9 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not
turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity
to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:
30-1:10 But
I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.
30-1:11 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn
away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the
sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he
kept his wrath for ever:
30-1:13 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for
four, I will not turn away the punishment
thereof; because they have ripped up the
women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:
30-1:14 But
I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a
tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
30-2:1 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn
away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of
Edom into lime:
30-2:3 And
I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof,
and will slay all the princes thereof with him,
saith the LORD.
30-2:4 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not
turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the
LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err,
after the which their fathers have walked:
30-2:6 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not
turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver,
and the poor for a pair of shoes;
30-3:9 Publish
in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say,
Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults
in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the
midst thereof.
30-8:10 And
I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and
I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I
will make it as the mourning of an only son,
and the end thereof as a bitter day.
30-9:11 In
that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up
the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his
ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
30-9:14 And
I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build
the waste cities, and inhabit them; and
they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof;
they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
32-1:3 But
Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went
down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto
Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
33-1:6 Therefore
I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the
foundations thereof.
33-1:7 And
all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to
pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned
with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I
lay desolate: for she gathered it of
the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
33-3:11 The
heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the
LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among
us? none evil can come upon us.
33-5:6 And
they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in
the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh
into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.
33-6:12 For
the rich men thereof are full of violence, and
the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and
their tongue is deceitful in their
mouth.
33-6:16 For
the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye
walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the
inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye
shall bear the reproach of my people.
34-1:8 But
with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
34-2:5 He
shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make
haste to the wall thereof, and the defence shall
be prepared.
35-2:18 What
profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof
hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his
work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
36-1:13 Therefore
their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall
also build houses, but not inhabit them; and
they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.
36-3:5 The
just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth
he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no
shame.
38-2:2 Then
said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see
what is the breadth thereof, and what is
the length thereof.
38-3:9 For
behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will
engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of
hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
38-4:2 And
said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a
candlestick all of gold, with a bowl
upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven
lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
38-4:3 And
two olive trees by it, one upon the right side
of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
38-4:7 Who
art thou, O great mountain? before
Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain:
and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
38-4:11 Then
answered I, and said unto him, What are these
two olive trees upon the right side of
the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
38-5:2 And
he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the
length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof
ten cubits.
38-5:4 I
will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house
of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and
it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber
thereof and the stones thereof.
38-5:8 And
he said, This is wickedness. And he
cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the
mouth thereof.
38-7:7 Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets,
when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?
38-8:5 And
the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.
38-9:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of
Israel, shall be toward the LORD.
38-14:4 And
his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the
mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof
toward the east and toward the west, and
there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove
toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
39-1:12 But
ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
40-2:16 Then
Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and
sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the
coasts thereof, from two years old and under,
according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.
40-6:34 Take
therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the
things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is
the evil thereof.
40-12:36 But
I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give
account thereof in the day of judgment.
40-13:32 Which
indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest
among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge
in the branches thereof.
40-13:44 Again,
the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a
man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof
goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
40-14:13 When
Jesus heard of it, he departed thence
by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they
followed him on foot out of the cities.
40-21:43 Therefore
say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a
nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
40-22:7 But
when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his
armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
40-27:34 They
gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he
would not drink.
41-6:16 But
when Herod heard thereof,
he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.
42-19:33 And
as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof
said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
42-21:20 And
when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the
desolation thereof is nigh.
42-22:16 For
I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof,
until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
43-3:8 The
wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and
whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
43-4:12 Art
thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
43-6:50 This
is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
43-7:7 The
world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the
works thereof are evil.
44-15:16 After
this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is
fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof,
and I will set it up:
45-6:12 Let
not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the
lusts thereof.
45-13:14 But
put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
46-9:7 Who
goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and
eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth
a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
46-9:23 And
this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
46-10:26 For
the earth is the Lord’s, and the
fulness thereof.
46-10:28 But
if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for
his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:
55-3:5 Having
a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:
from such turn away.
58-7:18 For
there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness
and unprofitableness thereof.
59-1:11 For
the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and
the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the
fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
60-1:24 For
all flesh is as grass, and all the
glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
60-5:2 Feed
the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but
willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
62-2:17 And
the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but
he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
66-5:2 And I saw
a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book,
and to loose the seals thereof?
66-5:5 And one
of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda,
the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven
seals thereof.
66-5:9 And they
sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals
thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed
us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and
nation;
66-16:12 And the
sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the
east might be prepared.
66-16:21 And there
fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every
stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the
plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was
exceeding great.
66-21:15 And he
that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
66-21:17 And he
measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to
the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
66-21:23 And the
city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory
of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the
light thereof.
