01-GENESIS
01-13:14 And
the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art
northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
01-14:20 And
blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine
enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
01-14:23 That
I will not take from a thread even to
a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I
have made Abram rich:
01-15:4 And,
behold, the word of the LORD came unto
him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but
he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels
shall be thine heir.
01-20:7 Now
therefore restore the man his wife;
for he is a prophet, and he shall
pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.
01-21:18 Arise,
lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for
I will make him a great nation.
01-22:2 And
he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get
thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one
of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
01-22:12 And
he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad,
neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God,
seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine
only son from me.
01-22:16 And
said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this
thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only
son:
01-30:27 And
Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry:
for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy
sake.
01-31:12 And
he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the
rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked,
speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.
01-31:32 With
whomsoever thou findest thy gods, let him not live: before our brethren discern
thou what is thine
with me, and take it to thee. For
Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them.
01-38:18 And
he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy
bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.
01-40:13 Yet
within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine
head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup
into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
01-44:18 Then
Judah came near unto him, and said, Oh my lord, let thy servant, I pray thee,
speak a word in my lord’s ears, and let not thine
anger burn against thy servant: for thou art
even as Pharaoh.
01-46:4 I
will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand
upon thine eyes.
01-47:19 Wherefore
shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our
land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto
Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may
live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.
01-48:6 And
thy issue, which thou begettest after them, shall be thine,
and shall be called after the name of
their brethren in their inheritance.
01-49:8 Judah,
thou art he whom thy brethren shall
praise: thy hand shall be in the neck
of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall
bow down before thee.
02-4:2 And
the LORD said unto him, What is that
in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
02-4:4 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand,
and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it
became a rod in his hand:
02-4:6 And
the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine
hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it
out, behold, his hand was leprous as
snow.
02-4:7 And
he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again.
And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and,
behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.
02-4:17 And
thou shalt take this rod in thine hand,
wherewith thou shalt do signs.
02-4:21 And
the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou
do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall
not let the people go.
02-5:16 There
is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and,
behold, thy servants are beaten; but
the fault is in thine own people.
02-7:15 Get
thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou
shalt stand by the river’s brink against he come; and the rod which was turned
to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.
02-7:19 And
the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their
streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of
water, that they may become blood; and that
there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.
02-8:3 And
the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy
bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
02-8:5 And
the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the
rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
02-9:14 For
I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine
heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.
02-9:22 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine
hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man,
and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
02-10:12 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand
over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of
Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even
all that the hail hath left.
02-10:21 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand
toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness
which may be felt.
02-13:9 And
it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand,
and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the
Lord’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought
thee out of Egypt.
02-13:16 And
it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for
frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of
hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.
02-14:16 But
lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand
over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
02-14:26 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand
over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their
chariots, and upon their horsemen.
02-15:7 And
in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown
them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
02-15:16 Fear
and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine
arm they shall be as still as a
stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.
02-15:17 Thou
shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine
inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell
in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.
02-17:5 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the
elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
02-20:24 An
altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt
offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine
oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will
bless thee.
02-22:30 Likewise
shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall
be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
02-23:1 Thou
shalt not raise a false report: put not thine
hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
02-23:4 If
thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going
astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
02-23:12 Six
days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass
may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
02-23:22 But
if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an
enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
02-23:27 I
will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt
come, and I will make all thine enemies turn
their backs unto thee.
02-32:13 Remember
Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply
your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will
I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
02-34:9 And
he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray
thee, go among us; for it is a
stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
03-2:13 And
every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt
thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat
offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt
offer salt.
03-10:15 The
heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by
fire of the fat, to wave it for a
wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine,
and thy sons’ with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.
03-18:10 The
nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not
uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
03-18:14 Thou
shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not
approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
03-19:17 Thou
shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou
shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
03-27:23 Then
the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he
shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.
03-27:27 And
if it be of an unclean beast, then he
shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not
redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.
04-5:20 But
if thou hast gone aside to another instead
of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside
thine husband:
04-10:35 And
it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and
let thine enemies be scattered; and let them
that hate thee flee before thee.
04-18:9 This
shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation
of theirs, every meat offering of theirs and every sin offering of theirs, and
every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy
sons.
04-18:11 And
this is thine;
the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children
of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters
with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall
eat of it.
04-18:13 And whatsoever is first ripe in the
land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine;
every one that is clean in thine house shall eat
of it.
04-18:14 Everything
devoted in Israel shall be thine.
04-18:15 Every
thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be
thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt
thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.
04-18:16 And
those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after
the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty
gerahs.
04-18:18 And
the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave
breast and as the right shoulder are thine.
04-18:20 And
the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land,
neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance
among the children of Israel.
04-22:30 And
the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine
unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
04-22:32 And
the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to
withstand thee, because thy way is
perverse before me:
04-27:18 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
04-27:20 And
thou shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of
the children of Israel may be obedient.
05-2:24 Rise
ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given
into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of
Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it,
and contend with him in battle.
05-3:21 And
I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine
eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall
the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
05-3:27 Get
thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine
eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine
eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
05-4:9 Only
take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things
which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart
from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’
sons;
05-4:19 And
lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and
when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them,
and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the
whole heaven.
05-4:39 Know
therefore this day, and consider it in
thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the
earth beneath: there is none else.
05-5:14 But
the seventh day is the sabbath of the
LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do
any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger
that is within thy gates; that thy
manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
05-6:5 And
thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
05-6:6 And
these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
05-6:7 And
thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when
thou sittest in thine house, and when thou
walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
05-6:8 And
thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand,
and they shall be as frontlets between thine
eyes.
05-6:19 To
cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as
the LORD hath spoken.
05-7:13 And
he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the
fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of
thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
05-7:16 And
thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt
thou serve their gods; for that will be a
snare unto thee.
05-7:17 If
thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess
them?
05-7:19 The
great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the
signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby
the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the
people of whom thou art afraid.
05-7:24 And
he shall deliver their kings into thine hand,
and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able
to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.
05-7:26 Neither
shalt thou bring an abomination into thine
house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but
thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
05-8:2 And
thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty
years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and
to prove thee, to know what was in
thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his
commandments, or no.
05-8:5 Thou
shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a
man chasteneth his son, so the LORD
thy God chasteneth thee.
05-8:14 Then
thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the
LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house
of bondage;
05-8:17 And
thou say in thine heart, My power and the might
of mine hand hath gotten me this
wealth.
05-9:4 Speak
not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy
God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD
hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these
nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
05-9:5 Not
for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine
heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these
nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may
perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob.
05-9:26 I
prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people
and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed
through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty
hand.
05-9:29 Yet
they are thy people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy
mighty power and by thy stretched out arm.
05-10:21 He
is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee
these great and terrible things, which thine
eyes have seen.
05-11:14 That
I will give you the rain of your land
in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather
in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
05-11:19 And
ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when
thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
05-11:20 And
thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine
house, and upon thy gates:
05-12:17 Thou
mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy
oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which
thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
05-12:18 But
thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall
choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy
maidservant, and the Levite that is within
thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou
puttest thine hands unto.
05-13:6 If
thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of
thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as
thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying,
Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy
fathers;
05-13:8 Thou
shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither
shalt thou conceal him:
05-13:9 But
thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be
first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
05-13:17 And
there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine
hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee
mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto
thy fathers;
05-14:23 And
thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to
place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy
flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
05-14:25 Then
shalt thou turn it into money, and
bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go
unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:
05-14:26 And
thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen,
or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul
desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt
rejoice, thou, and thine household,
05-14:28 At
the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:
05-14:29 And
the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the
stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied;
that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
05-15:3 Of
a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but
that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall
release;
05-15:7 If
there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in
thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine
hand from thy poor brother:
05-15:8 But
thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and
shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
05-15:9 Beware
that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the
year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be
evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the
LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
05-15:10 Thou
shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not
be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy
God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
05-15:11 For
the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying,
Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy
brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
05-15:16 And
it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he
loveth thee and thine house, because he is well
with thee;
05-16:10 And
thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill
offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the
LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
05-16:15 Seven
days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which
the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
05-18:4 The
firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy
wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the
fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.
05-18:21 And
if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know
the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
05-19:13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel,
that it may go well with thee.
05-19:14 Thou
shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the
land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.
05-19:21 And
thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life,
eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
05-20:1 When
thou goest out to battle against thine enemies,
and seest horses, and chariots, and a
people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out
of the land of Egypt.
05-20:13 And
when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine
hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
05-20:14 But
the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou
take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine
enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
05-21:10 When
thou goest forth to war against thine enemies,
and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine
hands, and thou hast taken them captive,
05-21:12 Then
thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and
she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;
05-21:13 And
she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a
full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and
she shall be thy wife.
05-22:2 And
if thy brother be not nigh unto thee,
or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine
own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou
shalt restore it to him again.
05-22:8 When
thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that
thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man
fall from thence.
05-23:9 When
the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then
keep thee from every wicked thing.
05-23:14 For
the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give
up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall
thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from
thee.
05-23:20 Unto
a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not
lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to
possess it.
05-23:24 When
thou comest into thy neighbour’s vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill
at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
05-23:25 When
thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the
ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a
sickle unto thy neighbour’s standing corn.
05-24:19 When
thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and
hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall
be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy
God may bless thee in all the work of thine
hands.
05-24:20 When
thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go
over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and
for the widow.
05-25:12 Then
thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not
pity her.
05-25:14 Thou
shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a
great and a small.
05-25:19 Therefore
it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD
thy God giveth thee for an
inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt
blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
05-26:4 And
the priest shall take the basket out of thine
hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.
05-26:11 And
thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which
the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine
house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
05-26:12 When
thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine
increase the third year, which is the
year of tithing, and hast given it unto
the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat
within thy gates, and be filled;
05-26:16 This
day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments:
thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine
heart, and with all thy soul.
05-28:7 The
LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up
against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee
one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
05-28:8 The
LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that
thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless
thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
05-28:12 The
LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto
thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine
hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
05-28:20 The
LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou
settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be
destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy
doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
05-28:25 The
LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine
enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before
them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
05-28:31 Thine ox shall
be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt
not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be
restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given
unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to
rescue them.
05-28:32 Thy
sons and thy daughters shall be given
unto another people, and thine eyes shall look,
and fail with longing for them all
the day long: and there shall be no
might in thine hand.
05-28:34 So
that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine
eyes which thou shalt see.
05-28:40 Thou
shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.
05-28:48 Therefore
shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD
shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in
want of all things: and he shall put
a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
05-28:53 And
thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the
flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee,
in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine
enemies shall distress thee:
05-28:55 So
that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall
eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness,
wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in
all thy gates.
05-28:57 And
toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her
children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and
straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress
thee in thy gates.
05-28:67 In
the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say,
Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine
heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine
eyes which thou shalt see.
05-29:3 The
great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the
signs, and those great miracles:
05-30:2 And
shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all
that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
05-30:4 If
any of thine
be driven out unto the outmost parts of
heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he
fetch thee:
05-30:6 And
the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart,
and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest
live.
05-30:7 And
the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine
enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
05-30:9 And
the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit
of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again
rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
05-30:10 If
thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments
and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God
with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
05-30:17 But
if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not
hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
05-33:10 They
shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense
before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine
altar.
05-33:29 Happy
art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the
LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the
sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall
be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
05-34:4 And
the LORD said unto him, This is the land
which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it
unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it
with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over
thither.
06-2:3 And
the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come
to thee, which are entered into thine house: for
they be come to search out all the country.
06-2:17 And
the men said unto her, We will be blameless
of this thine oath which thou hast made us
swear.
06-2:20 And
if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.
06-6:2 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine
hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the
mighty men of valour.
06-7:13 Up,
sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus
saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an
accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing
from among you.
06-8:18 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, Stretch out the spear that is in thy hand toward Ai; for I will give it into thine hand. And Joshua stretched out the spear that he had in his hand toward the city.
06-9:25 And
now, behold, we are in thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto thee to
do unto us, do.
06-10:8 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before
thee.
06-14:9 And
Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden
shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s
for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.
06-17:18 But
the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down:
and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou
shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.
07-4:7 And
I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army,
with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
07-4:9 And
she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou
takest shall not be for thine honour; for the
LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went
with Barak to Kedesh.
07-4:14 And
Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the
day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine
hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount
Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
07-5:31 So
let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his
might. And the land had rest forty years.
07-6:39 And
Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot
against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this
once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the
ground let there be dew.
07-7:7 And
the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save
you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand:
and let all the other people go every
man unto his place.
07-7:9 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Arise, get thee
down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine
hand.
07-7:11 And
thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine
hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah
his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.
07-8:6 And
the princes of Succoth said, Are the
hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand,
that we should give bread unto thine army?
07-8:15 And
he came unto the men of Succoth, and said, Behold Zebah and Zalmunna with whom
ye did upbraid me, saying, Are the hands
of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we
should give bread unto thy men that are weary?
07-9:29 And
would to God this people were under my hand! then would I remove Abimelech. And
he said to Abimelech, Increase thine army, and
come out.
07-11:36 And
she said unto him, My father, if thou
hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath
proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee
of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.
07-12:1 And
the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said
unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of
Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire.
07-16:15 And
she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not
with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein
thy great strength lieth.
07-18:19 And
they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine
hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be a priest
unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family
in Israel?
07-19:5 And
it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that
he rose up to depart: and the damsel’s father said unto his son in law, Comfort
thine heart with a morsel of bread, and
afterward go your way.
07-19:6 And
they sat down, and did eat and drink both of them together: for the damsel’s
father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray thee, and tarry all night, and
let thine heart be merry.
07-19:8 And
he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart: and the damsel’s
father said, Comfort thine heart, I pray thee.
And they tarried until afternoon, and they did eat both of them.
07-19:9 And
when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his
father in law, the damsel’s father, said unto him, Behold, now the day draweth
toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day groweth to an end,
lodge here, that thine heart may be merry; and
to morrow get you early on your way, that thou mayest go home.
07-19:22 Now as they were making their hearts
merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house
round about, and beat at the door,
and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man
that came into thine house, that we may know him.
07-20:28 And
Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,)
saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my
brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will
deliver them into thine hand.
08-2:9 Let thine
eyes be on the field that they do
reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall
not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
08-2:10 Then
she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why
have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou
shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am
a stranger?
08-2:11 And
Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou
hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine
husband: and how thou hast left thy
father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people
which thou knewest not heretofore.
08-2:13 Then
she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast
comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.
08-3:9 And
he said, Who art thou? And she answered,
I am Ruth thine
handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine
handmaid; for thou art a near
kinsman.
08-4:11 And
all the people that were in the gate,
and the elders, said, We are witnesses.
The LORD make the woman that is come into thine
house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and
do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:
08-4:15 And
he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life,
and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy
daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons,
hath borne him.
09-1:11 And
she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the
affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me,
and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give
unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will
give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come
upon his head.
09-1:16 Count
not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for
out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.
09-1:18 And
she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy
sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.
09-2:31 Behold,
the days come, that I will cut off thine arm,
and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.
09-2:32 And
thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation,
in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall
not be an old man in thine house for ever.
09-2:33 And
the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and
to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.
09-2:36 And
it shall come to pass, that every one
that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver
and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the
priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
09-9:19 And
Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the
seer: go up before me unto the high place; for ye shall eat with me to day, and
to morrow I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that is in thine heart.
09-9:20 And
as for thine asses that were lost three days
ago, set not thy mind on them; for they are found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on thee, and on all thy
father’s house?
09-14:7 And
his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is
in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.
09-14:19 And
it came to pass, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the noise that was in the host of the Philistines went
on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw thine hand.
09-15:17 And
Samuel said, When thou wast little in
thine own sight, wast thou not made the
head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?
09-15:28 And
Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this
day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.
09-16:1 And
the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have
rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine
horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have
provided me a king among his sons.
09-17:28 And
Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger
was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with
whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and
the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art
come down that thou mightest see the battle.
09-17:46 This
day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of
the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild
beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
09-20:3 And
David sware moreover, and said, Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found
grace in thine eyes; and he saith, Let not
Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved: but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy
soul liveth, there is but a step
between me and death.
09-20:29 And
he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city;
and my brother, he hath commanded me to
be there: and now, if I have found favour in thine
eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he cometh
not unto the king’s table.
09-20:30 Then
Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of
the perverse rebellious woman, do not
I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine
own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother’s nakedness?
09-21:3 Now
therefore what is under thine hand? give me five loaves of bread in mine hand, or what there is present.
09-21:8 And
David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine
hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with
me, because the king’s business required haste.
09-22:14 Then
Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king’s
son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honourable in thine house?
09-23:4 Then
David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said,
Arise, go down to Keilah: for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
09-24:4 And
the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto
thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall
seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe
privily.
09-24:10 Behold,
this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had
delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee:
but mine eye spared thee; and I said,
I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD’S anointed.
09-24:15 The
LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my
cause, and deliver me out of thine hand.
09-24:18 And
thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as
when the LORD had delivered me into thine hand,
thou killedst me not.
09-24:20 And
now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the kingdom
of Israel shall be established in thine hand.
09-25:6 And
thus shall ye say to him that liveth in
prosperity, Peace be both to
thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast.
09-25:8 Ask
thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour
in thine eyes: for we come in a good day: give,
I pray thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand
unto thy servants, and to thy son David.
09-25:24 And
fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity
be: and let thine
handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience,
and hear the words of thine handmaid.
09-25:25 Let
not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is,
so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom
thou didst send.
09-25:26 Now
therefore, my lord, as the LORD
liveth, and as thy soul liveth,
seeing the LORD hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and from avenging thyself with thine
own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that
seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.
09-25:27 And
now this blessing which thine handmaid hath
brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my
lord.
09-25:28 I
pray thee, forgive the trespass of thine
handmaid: for the LORD will certainly make my lord a sure house; because my
lord fighteth the battles of the LORD, and evil hath not been found in thee all thy days.
09-25:29 Yet
a man is risen to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul: but the soul of my lord
shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling.
09-25:31 That
this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of heart unto my lord, either
that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my lord hath avenged himself: but
when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember thine handmaid.
09-25:35 So
David received of her hand that which
she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and
have accepted thy person.
09-25:41 And
she arose, and bowed herself on her face
to the earth, and said, Behold, let thine handmaid be
a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.
09-26:8 Then
said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine
enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let
me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will
not smite him the second time.
09-26:21 Then
said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee
harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes
this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.
09-27:5 And
David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine
eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell
there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?
09-28:16 Then
said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed
from thee, and is become thine enemy?
09-28:17 And
the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the
kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy
neighbour, even to David:
09-28:21 And
the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him,
Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice,
and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou
spakest unto me.
09-28:22 Now
therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also unto the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread
before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on thy
way.
10-1:14 And
David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD’S anointed?
10-1:25 How
are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.
10-3:21 And
Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my
lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest
reign over all that thine heart desireth. And
David sent Abner away; and he went in peace.
10-4:8 And
they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king,
Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine
enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this
day of Saul, and of his seed.
10-5:19 And
David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou
deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will
doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine
hand.
10-7:3 And
Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is
in thine heart; for the LORD is with thee.
10-7:9 And
I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a
great name, like unto the name of the great men
that are in the earth.
10-7:11 And
as since the time that I commanded judges to
be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will
make thee an house.
10-7:16 And
thine house and thy kingdom shall be established
for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
10-7:21 For
thy word’s sake, and according to thine own
heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them.
10-11:10 And
when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David
said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy
journey? why then didst thou not
go down unto thine house?
10-12:10 Now
therefore the sword shall never depart from thine
house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the
Hittite to be thy wife.
10-12:11 Thus
saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the
sight of this sun.
10-13:10 And
Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the meat into the chamber, that I may eat of thine hand. And Tamar took the cakes which she had
made, and brought them into the
chamber to Amnon her brother.
10-14:7 And,
behold, the whole family is risen against thine
handmaid, and they said, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill
him, for the life of his brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir
also: and so they shall quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my
husband neither name nor remainder
upon the earth.
10-14:8 And
the king said unto the woman, Go to thine house,
and I will give charge concerning thee.
10-14:12 Then
the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee,
speak one word unto my lord the king.
And he said, Say on.
10-14:17 Then
thine handmaid said, The word of my lord the
king shall now be comfortable: for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad: therefore the LORD thy
God will be with thee.
10-14:19 And
the king said, Is not the hand of
Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king,
none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that my lord the king
hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade me, and he put all these words in
the mouth of thine handmaid:
10-16:4 Then
said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine are all that pertained unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I humbly beseech thee that I may find grace in thy sight, my
lord, O king.
10-17:11 Therefore
I counsel that all Israel be generally gathered unto thee, from Dan even to
Beersheba, as the sand that is by the
sea for multitude; and that thou go to battle in thine
own person.
10-19:6 In
that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy
friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither princes
nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we
had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.
10-19:27 And
he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what is good in thine
eyes.
10-19:28 For
all of my father’s house were but
dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant among them
that did eat at thine own table. What right
therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king?
10-20:17 And
when he was come near unto her, the woman said, Art thou Joab? And he answered, I am he. Then she said unto him, Hear the words of thine handmaid. And he answered, I do hear.
10-22:28 And
the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine
eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
10-24:13 So
Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine
come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there
be three days’ pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall
return to him that sent me.
10-24:16 And
when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD
repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It
is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of
the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.
10-24:17 And
David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and
said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have
they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be
against me, and against my father’s house.
11-1:12 Now
therefore come, let me, I pray thee, give thee counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the life of thy son Solomon.
11-1:13 Go
and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O
king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying,
Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my
throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?
11-1:17 And
she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, saying,
Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my
throne.
11-1:53 So
king Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and
bowed himself to king Solomon: and Solomon said unto him, Go to thine house.
11-2:26 And
unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to death,
because thou barest the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father, and because
thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
11-2:37 For
it shall be, that on the day thou
goest out, and passest over the brook Kidron, thou shalt know for certain that
thou shalt surely die: thy blood shall be upon thine
own head.
11-2:44 The
king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickedness which thine heart is privy to, that thou didst to David my
father: therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness upon thine own head;
11-3:11 And
God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for
thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the
life of thine enemies; but hast asked for
thyself understanding to discern judgment;
11-3:20 And
she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and
laid her dead child in my bosom.
11-3:26 Then
spake the woman whose the living child was
unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my
lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said,
Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
11-8:18 And
the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine
heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.
11-8:24 Who
hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou
spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
11-8:29 That
thine eyes may be open toward this house night
and day, even toward the place of
which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the
prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
11-8:31 If
any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause
him to swear, and the oath come before thine
altar in this house:
11-8:51 For
they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of
Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:
11-8:52 That
thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of
thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto
them in all that they call for unto thee.
11-8:53 For
thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine
inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou
broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.
11-11:22 Then
Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou
seekest to go to thine own country? And he
answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise.
11-12:16 So
when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered
the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel:
now see to thine own house, David. So Israel
departed unto their tents.
11-13:8 And
the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will
I eat bread nor drink water in this place:
11-13:18 He
said unto him, I am a prophet also as
thou art; and an angel spake unto me
by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
11-14:12 Arise
thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city,
the child shall die.
11-17:11 And
as she was going to fetch it, he
called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
11-19:10 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children
of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine
altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
11-19:14 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children
of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine
altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
11-20:4 And
the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying,
I am thine,
and all that I have.
11-20:6 Yet
I will send my servants unto thee to morrow about this time, and they shall
search thine house, and the houses of thy
servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever
is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.
11-20:13 And,
behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the
LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
11-20:28 And
there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus
saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is
not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude
into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
11-21:7 And
Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel?
arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of
Naboth the Jezreelite.
11-21:19 And
thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and
also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the
LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy
blood, even thine.
11-21:22 And
will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam
the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the
provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me
to anger, and made Israel to sin.
11-22:34 And
a certain man drew a bow at a
venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness:
wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine
hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
12-4:2 And
Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the
house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any
thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
12-4:16 And
he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a
son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man
of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.
12-4:29 Then
he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man,
salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff
upon the face of the child.
12-7:2 Then
a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold,
if the LORD would make windows in
heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine
eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
12-7:19 And
that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be?
And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine
eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
12-8:1 Then
spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise,
and go thou and thine household, and sojourn
wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it
shall also come upon the land seven years.
12-8:8 And
the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine
hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying,
Shall I recover of this disease?
12-9:1 And
Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto
him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine
hand, and go to Ramothgilead:
12-10:5 And
he that was over the house, and he
that was over the city, the elders
also, and the bringers up of the
children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are
thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any
king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
12-10:15 And
when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him,
and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my
heart is with thy heart? And
Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me
thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.
12-13:16 And
he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand
upon the bow. And he put his hand upon
it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands.
12-14:10 Thou
hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath
lifted thee up: glory of this, and
tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
12-19:16 LORD,
bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of
Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.
12-19:22 Whom
hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of
Israel.
12-20:1 In
those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz
came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not
live.
12-20:15 And
he said, What have they seen in thine house? And
Hezekiah answered, All the things that
are in mine house have they seen:
there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
12-20:17 Behold,
the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up
in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left,
saith the LORD.
12-22:19 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled
thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place,
and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a
curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.
12-22:20 Behold
therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into
thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see
all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word
again.
13-4:10 And
Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me
indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine
hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that
which he requested.
13-12:18 Then
the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief
of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David,
and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to
thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then
David received them, and made them captains of the band.
13-14:10 And
David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt
thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will
deliver them into thine hand.
13-17:2 Then
Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in
thine heart; for God is with thee.
13-17:8 And
I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a
name like the name of the great men that are
in the earth.
13-17:10 And
since the time that I commanded judges to
be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD
will build thee an house.
13-17:17 And
yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, and
hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.
13-17:19 O
LORD, for thy servant’s sake, and according to thine
own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
13-17:22 For
thy people Israel didst thou make thine own
people for ever; and thou, LORD, becamest their God.
13-21:12 Either
three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while
that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of
the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD
destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself
what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
13-21:15 And
God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the
LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that
destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand.
And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
13-21:17 And
David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered?
even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and
on my father’s house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued.
13-21:24 And
king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for
I will not take that which is thine
for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
13-29:11 Thine, O LORD, is
the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the
majesty: for all that is in the
heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art
exalted as head above all.
13-29:12 Both
riches and honour come of thee, and
thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is
to make great, and to give strength unto all.
13-29:14 But
who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to
offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have
we given thee.
13-29:16 O
LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh
of thine hand, and is all thine own.
14-1:11 And
God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart,
and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but
hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people,
over whom I have made thee king:
14-6:8 But
the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst
well in that it was in thine heart:
14-6:15 Thou
which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised
him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
14-6:20 That
thine eyes may be open upon this house day and
night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there;
to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place.
14-6:22 If
a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him
swear, and the oath come before thine altar in
this house;
14-6:40 Now,
my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open,
and let thine
ears be attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
14-6:42 O
LORD God, turn not away the face of thine
anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant.
14-9:5 And
she said to the king, It was a true
report which I heard in mine own land of thine
acts, and of thy wisdom:
14-10:16 And
when all Israel saw that the king
would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion
have we in David? and we have none inheritance
in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own
house. So all Israel went to their tents.
14-16:7 And
at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him,
Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy
God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.
14-16:8 Were
not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and
horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand.
14-18:33 And
a certain man drew a bow at a
venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness:
therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine
hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
14-19:3 Nevertheless
there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves
out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart
to seek God.
14-20:6 And
said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not
thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou
over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine
hand is there not power and might, so
that none is able to withstand thee?
14-25:15 Wherefore
the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a
prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the
people, which could not deliver their own people out of thine hand?
14-25:19 Thou
sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine
heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to
thine hurt,
that thou shouldest fall, even thou,
and Judah with thee?
14-26:18 And
they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the
LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn
incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine
honour from the LORD God.
14-34:27 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself
before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the
inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy
clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD.
14-34:28 Behold,
I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in
peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil
that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So
they brought the king word again.
15-7:14 Forasmuch
as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire
concerning Judah and Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine
hand;
15-7:25 And
thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and
judges, which may judge all the people that are
beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them
that know them not.
16-1:6 Let
thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of
thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of
Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we
have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.
16-1:11 O
Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be
attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who
desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and
grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.
16-6:8 Then
I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou
feignest them out of thine own heart.
18-1:11 But
put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he
hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
18-1:12 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of
the LORD.
18-2:5 But
put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and
his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
18-2:6 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in
thine hand; but save his life.
18-2:9 Then
said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine
integrity? curse God, and die.
18-5:25 Thou
shalt know also that thy seed shall be great,
and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
18-7:8 The
eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
18-7:17 What
is man, that thou shouldest magnify
him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart
upon him?
18-10:3 Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest
oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine
hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
18-10:7 Thou
knowest that I am not wicked; and there
is none that can deliver out of thine hand.
18-10:8 Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together
round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
18-10:13 And
these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.
18-10:17 Thou
renewest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thine
indignation upon me; changes and war are against
me.
18-11:4 For
thou hast said, My doctrine is pure,
and I am clean in thine eyes.
18-11:6 And
that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth
of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
18-11:13 If
thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
18-11:14 If
iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness
dwell in thy tabernacles.
18-11:17 And
thine age
shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the
morning.
18-13:21 Withdraw
thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread
make me afraid.
18-13:24 Wherefore
hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine
enemy?
18-14:3 And
dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and
bringest me into judgment with thee?
18-14:15 Thou
shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.
18-15:5 For
thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest
the tongue of the crafty.
18-15:6 Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee.
18-15:12 Why
doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do
thy eyes wink at,
18-22:5 Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite?
18-22:22 Receive,
I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
18-22:30 He
shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness
of thine hands.
18-35:7 If
thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
18-40:14 Then
will I also confess unto thee that thine own
right hand can save thee.
18-41:8 Lay
thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no
more.
19-2:8 Ask
of me, and I shall give thee the
heathen for thine
inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
19-6:1 O
LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither
chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
19-7:6 Arise,
O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of
the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to
the judgment that thou hast
commanded.
19-8:2 Out
of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and
the avenger.
19-10:12 Arise,
O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not
the humble.
19-10:17 LORD,
thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou
wilt cause thine ear to hear:
19-16:10 For
thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
19-17:2 Let
my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine
eyes behold the things that are equal.
19-17:6 I
have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and
hear my speech.
19-20:4 Grant
thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil
all thy counsel.
19-21:8 Thine hand shall find out all thine
enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
19-21:9 Thou
shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine
anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour
them.
19-21:12 Therefore
shalt thou make them turn their back, when
thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of
them.
19-21:13 Be
thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
19-26:6 I
will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine
altar, O LORD:
19-26:8 LORD,
I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
19-27:14 Wait
on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
19-28:9 Save
thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed
them also, and lift them up for ever.
19-31:2 Bow
down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be
thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
19-31:5 Into
thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast
redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
19-31:22 For
I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine
eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried
unto thee.
19-37:4 Delight
thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
19-38:2 For
thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand
presseth me sore.
19-38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh
because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of
my sin.
19-39:10 Remove
thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine
hand.
19-44:3 For
they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own
arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine
arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
19-45:5 Thine arrows are
sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
19-45:10 Hearken,
O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear;
forget also thine own people, and thy father’s
house;
19-50:20 Thou
sittest and speakest against thy
brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.
19-50:21 These
things hast thou done, and I kept
silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I
will reprove thee, and set them in
order before thine eyes.
19-51:19 Then
shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering
and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
19-56:7 Shall
they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.
19-66:3 Say
unto God, How terrible art thou in thy
works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine
enemies submit themselves unto thee.
19-68:9 Thou,
O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
19-68:23 That
thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and
the tongue of thy dogs in the same.
19-69:9 For
the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and
the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
19-69:24 Pour
out thine indignation upon them, and let thy
wrathful anger take hold of them.
19-71:2 Deliver
me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
19-71:16 I
will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy
righteousness, even of thine only.
19-74:1 O
God, why hast thou cast us off for
ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
19-74:2 Remember
thy congregation, which thou hast
purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion,
wherein thou hast dwelt.
19-74:4 Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations;
they set up their ensigns for signs.
19-74:16 The
day is thine,
the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
19-74:22 Arise,
O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the
foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
19-74:23 Forget
not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of
those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
19-77:15 Thou
hast with thine
arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
19-77:17 The
clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine
arrows also went abroad.
19-79:1 O
God, the heathen are come into thine
inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on
heaps.
19-83:2 For,
lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that
hate thee have lifted up the head.
19-84:3 Yea,
the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she
may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
19-84:9 Behold,
O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine
anointed.
19-85:3 Thou
hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine
anger.
19-85:4 Turn
us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine
anger toward us to cease.
19-85:5 Wilt
thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine
anger to all generations?
19-86:1 Bow
down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
19-86:16 O
turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and
save the son of thine handmaid.
19-88:2 Let
my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear
unto my cry;
19-89:10 Thou
hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
19-89:11 The
heavens are thine,
the earth also is thine: as for the
world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
19-89:38 But
thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
19-89:51 Wherewith
thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith
they have reproached the footsteps of thine
anointed.
19-90:7 For
we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath
are we troubled.
19-90:11 Who
knoweth the power of thine anger? even according
to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
19-91:8 Only
with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the
reward of the wicked.
19-92:9 For,
lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of
iniquity shall be scattered.
19-93:5 Thy
testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine
house, O LORD, for ever.
19-94:5 They
break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine
heritage.
19-102:2 Hide
not thy face from me in the day when I
am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the
day when I call answer me speedily.
19-102:10 Because
of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou
hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
19-103:3 Who
forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all
thy diseases;
19-104:28 That thou givest them they gather: thou
openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
19-106:5 That
I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy
nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
19-110:1 The
LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
19-110:2 The
LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
19-116:16 O
LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou
hast loosed my bonds.
19-119:91 They
continue this day according to thine ordinances:
for all are thy servants.
19-119:94 I
am thine,
save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
19-119:173 Let
thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy
precepts.
19-128:2 For
thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well
with thee.
19-128:3 Thy
wife shall be as a fruitful vine by
the sides of thine house: thy children like
olive plants round about thy table.
19-130:2 Lord,
hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to
the voice of my supplications.
19-132:10 For
thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine
anointed.
19-138:7 Though
I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy
right hand shall save me.
19-138:8 The
LORD will perfect that which concerneth
me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for
ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
19-139:5 Thou
hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine
hand upon me.
19-139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect;
and in thy book all my members were
written, which in continuance were
fashioned, when as yet there was none
of them.
19-139:20 For
they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy
name in vain.
19-144:6 Cast
forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine
arrows, and destroy them.
19-144:7 Send
thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me
out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
19-145:16 Thou
openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of
every living thing.
20-2:2 So
that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine
heart to understanding;
20-2:10 When
wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge
is pleasant unto thy soul;
20-3:1 My
son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep
my commandments:
20-3:3 Let
not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the
table of thine heart:
20-3:5 Trust
in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not
unto thine own understanding.
20-3:7 Be
not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and
depart from evil.
20-3:9 Honour
the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
20-3:21 My
son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep
sound wisdom and discretion:
20-3:27 Withhold
not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
20-4:4 He
taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine
heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
20-4:9 She
shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a
crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
20-4:20 My
son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto
my sayings.
20-4:21 Let
them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in
the midst of thine heart.
20-4:25 Let
thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
20-5:1 My
son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:
20-5:9 Lest
thou give thine honour unto others, and thy
years unto the cruel:
20-5:15 Drink
waters out of thine own cistern, and running
waters out of thine own well.
20-5:17 Let
them be only thine own, and not strangers’ with
thee.
20-6:4 Give
not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.
20-6:21 Bind
them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.
20-6:25 Lust
not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let
her take thee with her eyelids.
20-7:2 Keep
my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine
eye.
20-7:3 Bind
them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine
heart.
20-7:25 Let
not thine heart decline to her ways, go not
astray in her paths.
20-20:13 Love
not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine
eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied
with bread.
20-22:17 Bow
down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise,
and apply thine heart unto my knowledge.
20-23:4 Labour
not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
20-23:5 Wilt
thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings;
they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
20-23:12 Apply
thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.
20-23:15 My
son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall
rejoice, even mine.
20-23:17 Let
not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the
day long.
20-23:18 For
surely there is an end; and thine expectation
shall not be cut off.
20-23:19 Hear
thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart
in the way.
20-23:26 My
son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
20-23:33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
20-24:17 Rejoice
not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
20-24:27 Prepare
thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards
build thine house.
20-25:7 For
better it is that it be said unto thee,
Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the
prince whom thine eyes have seen.
20-25:10 Lest
he that heareth it put thee to shame,
and thine infamy turn not away.
20-25:21 If
thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat;
and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
20-27:2 Let
another man praise thee, and not thine own
mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.
20-27:10 Thine own friend, and thy father’s friend, forsake
not; neither go into thy brother’s house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near
than a brother far off.
20-30:32 If
thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine
hand upon thy mouth.
21-5:2 Be
not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart
be hasty to utter any thing before
God: for God is in heaven, and thou
upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
21-5:6 Suffer
not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that
it was an error: wherefore should God
be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine
hands?
21-7:18 It is good that thou shouldest take hold
of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine
hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.
21-7:22 For
oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that
thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.
21-11:6 In
the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall
prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.
21-11:9 Rejoice,
O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy
youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and
in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that
for all these things God will bring
thee into judgment.
22-4:9 Thou
hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse;
thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine
eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
22-4:10 How
fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse!
how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!
22-6:5 Turn
away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome
me: thy hair is as a flock of goats
that appear from Gilead.
22-7:4 Thy
neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the
fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.
22-7:5 Thine head upon thee is like Carmel, and the hair of thine
head like purple; the king is held in
the galleries.
22-8:6 Set
me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is
cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are
coals of fire, which hath a most
vehement flame.
23-6:7 And
he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo,
this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity
is taken away, and thy sin purged.
23-12:1 And
in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry
with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou
comfortedst me.
23-14:13 For
thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend
into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also
upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
23-26:11 LORD,
when thy hand is lifted up, they will
not see: but they shall see, and be
ashamed for their envy at the people;
yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour
them.
23-30:20 And
though the Lord give you the bread of
adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed
into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see
thy teachers:
23-30:21 And
thine ears shall hear a word behind thee,
saying, This is the way, walk ye in
it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
23-33:17 Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they
shall behold the land that is very far off.
23-33:18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
23-33:20 Look
upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes
shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall
ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
23-37:17 Incline
thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of
Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.
23-37:23 Whom
hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
23-38:1 In
those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz
came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not
live.
23-39:4 Then
said he, What have they seen in thine house? And
Hezekiah answered, All that is in
mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not
shewed them.
23-39:6 Behold,
the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that
which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to
Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
23-42:6 I
the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a
covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
23-43:24 Thou
hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the
fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast
wearied me with thine iniquities.
23-44:3 For
I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I
will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
23-45:14 Thus
saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the
Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they
shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make
supplication unto thee, saying, Surely
God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.
23-47:6 I
was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into
thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon
the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
23-47:8 Therefore
hear now this, thou that art given to
pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine
heart, I am, and none else beside me;
I shall not sit as a widow, neither
shall I know the loss of children:
23-47:9 But
these two things shall come to thee
in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come
upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
23-47:10 For
thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and
thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am,
and none else beside me.
23-47:12 Stand
now with thine enchantments, and with the
multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be
thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
23-48:8 Yea,
thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine
ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and
wast called a transgressor from the womb.
23-49:18 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these
gather themselves together, and come
to thee. As I live, saith the LORD,
thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them
on thee, as a bride doeth.
23-49:20 The
children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again
in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.
23-49:21 Then
shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten
me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and
removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone;
these, where had they been?
23-51:22 Thus
saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that
pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it
again:
23-54:2 Enlarge
the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and
strengthen thy stakes;
23-54:5 For
thy Maker is thine
husband; the LORD of hosts is his
name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall
he be called.
23-57:10 Thou
art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet
saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
23-58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the
hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou
seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
23-58:8 Then
shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine
health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee;
the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
23-58:13 If
thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from
doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy
of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine
own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
23-60:4 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and see: all they
gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far,
and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
23-60:5 Then
thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine
heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be
converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
23-60:17 For
brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass,
and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
23-60:20 Thy
sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD
shall be thine everlasting light, and the days
of thy mourning shall be ended.
23-62:8 The
LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I
will no more give thy corn to be meat
for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger
shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
23-63:2 Wherefore
art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth
in the winefat?
23-63:17 O
LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways, and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’
sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
23-63:19 We
are thine:
thou never barest rule over them; they were not called by thy name.
23-64:2 As
when the melting fire burneth, the
fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that
the nations may tremble at thy presence!
24-2:2 Go
and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee,
the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine
espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
24-2:19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy
backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and
that my fear is not in thee, saith
the Lord GOD of hosts.
24-2:22 For
though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much sope, yet thine iniquity is marked before
me, saith the Lord GOD.
24-2:37 Yea,
thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands
upon thine head: for the LORD hath rejected thy
confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them.
24-3:2 Lift
up thine eyes unto the high places, and see
where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the
Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms
and with thy wickedness.
24-3:13 Only
acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast
transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the
strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the
LORD.
24-4:1 If
thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt
put away thine abominations out of my sight,
then shalt thou not remove.
24-4:14 O
Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness,
that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?
24-4:18 Thy
way and thy doings have procured these things
unto thee; this is thy
wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.
24-5:3 O
LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have
not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but
they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder
than a rock; they have refused to return.
24-5:17 And
they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should
eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine
herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy
fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.
24-6:9 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a
vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer
into the baskets.
24-7:29 Cut
off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away,
and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and
forsaken the generation of his wrath.
24-9:6 Thine habitation is
in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the
LORD.
24-10:24 O
LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine
anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
24-13:22 And
if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these
things upon me? For the greatness of thine
iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy
heels made bare.
24-13:27 I
have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings,
the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe
unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?
24-15:14 And
I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.
24-17:4 And
thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine
heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for
ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which
shall burn for ever.
24-18:23 Yet,
LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy
sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine
anger.
24-20:4 For
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all
thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon,
and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the
sword.
24-20:6 And
thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house
shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt
die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast
prophesied lies.
24-22:17 But
thine eyes and thine
heart are not but for thy
covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for
violence, to do it.
24-25:28 And
it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine
hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye
shall certainly drink.
24-28:7 Nevertheless
hear thou now this word that I speak in thine
ears, and in the ears of all the people;
24-30:14 All
thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee
with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the
multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
24-30:15 Why
criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because
thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.
24-30:16 Therefore
all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine
adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil
thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
24-31:16 Thus
saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine
eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall
come again from the land of the enemy.
24-31:17 And
there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that
thy children shall come again to their own border.
24-31:21 Set
thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine
heart toward the highway, even the
way which thou wentest: turn again, O
virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
24-32:7 Behold,
Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall
come unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is thine to buy it.
24-32:8 So
Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to
the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the
right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.
24-32:19 Great
in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons
of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of
his doings:
24-34:3 And
thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered
into his hand; and thine eyes shall behold the
eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and
thou shalt go to Babylon.
24-36:14 Therefore
all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son
of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine
hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So
Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
24-38:12 And
Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now these old cast clouts and rotten rags under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
24-38:17 Then
said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of
Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon’s princes,
then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou
shalt live, and thine house:
24-40:4 And
now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem
good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto
thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear:
behold, all the land is before thee:
whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.
24-42:2 And
said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be
accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the LORD thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are
left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)
24-43:9 Take
great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the
clay in the brickkiln, which is at
the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
24-49:16 Thy
terribleness hath deceived thee, and the
pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in
the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou
shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from
thence, saith the LORD.
24-51:13 O
thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and
the measure of thy covetousness.
25-2:14 Thy
prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not
discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy
captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.
25-2:16 All
thine enemies have opened their mouth against
thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have
found, we have seen it.
25-2:17 The
LORD hath done that which he had
devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old:
he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy
to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine
adversaries.
25-2:18 Their
heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down
like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.
25-2:19 Arise,
cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord:
lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for
hunger in the top of every street.
25-2:21 The
young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men
are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them
in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed,
and not pitied.
25-3:56 Thou
hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my
breathing, at my cry.
25-4:22 The
punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O
daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit
thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will
discover thy sins.
26-3:10 Moreover
he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive
in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.
26-3:18 When
I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning,
nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same
wicked man shall die in his iniquity;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-3:20 Again,
When a righteous man doth turn from
his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him,
he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin,
and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood
will I require at thine hand.
26-3:24 Then
the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and
said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine
house.
26-4:7 Therefore
thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall
be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
26-5:1 And
thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and
cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances
to weigh, and divide the hair.
26-5:9 And
I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any
more the like, because of all thine abominations.
26-5:11 Wherefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD;
Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things,
and with all thine abominations, therefore will
I also diminish thee; neither shall mine
eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
26-6:11 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and
stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house
of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
26-7:3 Now
is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will
judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
26-7:4 And
mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense
thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall
be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-7:8 Now
will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee:
and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
26-7:9 And
mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee
according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye
shall know that I am the LORD that
smiteth.
26-8:5 Then
said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes
now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the
north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in
the entry.
26-10:2 And
he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the
cherubims, and scatter them over the
city. And he went in in my sight.
26-16:6 And
when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine
own blood, I said unto thee when thou
wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.
26-16:7 I
have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased
and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine
hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked
and bare.
26-16:12 And
I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine
ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.
26-16:15 But
thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and
playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on
every one that passed by; his it was.
26-16:22 And
in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou
hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.
26-16:27 Behold,
therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food,
and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of
the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.
26-16:30 How
weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing
thou doest all these things, the work
of an imperious whorish woman;
26-16:31 In
that thou buildest thine eminent place in the
head of every way, and makest thine high place
in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;
26-16:39 And
I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high
places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair
jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.
26-16:41 And
they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute
judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease
from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.
26-16:43 Because
thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all
these things; behold, therefore I
also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not
commit this lewdness above all thine
abominations.
26-16:46 And
thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and
thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
26-16:51 Neither
hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified
thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou
hast done.
26-16:52 Thou
also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine
own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they
are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame,
in that thou hast justified thy sisters.
26-16:54 That
thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be
confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.
26-16:58 Thou
hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations,
saith the LORD.
26-16:61 Then
thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy
sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will
give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.
26-21:14 Thou
therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be doubled
the third time, the sword of the slain: it is
the sword of the great men that are slain,
which entereth into their privy chambers.
26-22:4 Thou
art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in
thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast
caused thy days to draw near, and art come even
unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and
a mocking to all countries.
26-22:14 Can
thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal
with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and
will do it.
26-22:16 And
thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the
sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
26-23:25 And
I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee:
they shall take away thy nose and thine ears;
and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy
daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
26-23:27 Thus
will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that
thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor
remember Egypt any more.
26-23:31 Thou
hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.
26-23:34 Thou
shalt even drink it and suck it out,
and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine
own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-24:16 Son
of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine
eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy
tears run down.
26-24:17 Forbear
to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover
not thy lips, and eat not the bread
of men.
26-24:26 That he that escapeth in that day shall
come unto thee, to cause thee to hear
it with thine ears?
26-25:6 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the
feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;
26-27:6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy
benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
26-27:10 They
of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine
army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth
thy comeliness.
26-27:11 The
men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the
Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round
about; they have made thy beauty perfect.
26-27:15 The
men of Dedan were thy merchants; many
isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
26-28:2 Son
of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted
up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I
sit in the seat of God, in the midst
of the seas; yet thou art a man, and
not God, though thou set thine heart as the
heart of God:
26-28:4 With
thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou
hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
26-28:5 By
thy great wisdom and by thy traffick
hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart
is lifted up because of thy riches:
26-28:6 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine
heart as the heart of God;
26-28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou
hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the
ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
26-28:18 Thou
hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine
iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a
fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to
ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
26-33:8 When
I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou
shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that
wicked man shall die in his iniquity;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-35:11 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
even do according to thine anger, and according
to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy
hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have
judged thee.
26-37:17 And
join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
26-37:20 And
the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine
hand before their eyes.
26-38:4 And
I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee
forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen,
all of them clothed with all sorts of
armour, even a great company with bucklers
and shields, all of them handling swords:
26-38:12 To
take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine
hand upon the desolate places that are
now inhabited, and upon the people that
are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that
dwell in the midst of the land.
26-39:3 And
I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
26-40:4 And
the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine
eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to
the intent that I might shew them unto
thee art thou brought hither: declare
all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
26-44:5 And
the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine
ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the
LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house,
with every going forth of the sanctuary.
26-44:30 And
the first of all the firstfruits of all things,
and every oblation of all, of every sort
of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the
priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.
27-2:38 And
wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of
the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and
hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art
this head of gold.
27-3:17 If
it be so, our God whom we serve is
able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine
hand, O king.
27-4:19 Then
Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar,
was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and
said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble
thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.
27-4:27 Wherefore,
O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by
righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing
mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
27-5:22 And
thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine
heart, though thou knewest all this;
27-9:16 O
Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city
Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of
our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are
become a reproach to all that are about
us.
27-9:18 O
my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city
which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee
for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
27-9:19 O
Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people
are called by thy name.
27-10:12 Then
said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself
before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
28-9:7 The
days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know
it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is
mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity,
and the great hatred.
28-13:9 O
Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.
28-14:1 O
Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
29-2:17 Let
the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar,
and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should
rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
31-1:3 The
pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou
that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
31-1:15 For
the day of the LORD is near upon all
the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall
return upon thine own head.
32-1:8 Then
said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence
comest thou? what is thy country? and
of what people art thou?
32-2:7 When
my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto
thee, into thine holy temple.
33-4:10 Be
in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in
travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in
the field, and thou shalt go even to
Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from
the hand of thine enemies.
33-4:13 Arise
and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine
horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many
people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto
the Lord of the whole earth.
33-5:9 Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine
enemies shall be cut off.
33-5:12 And
I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand;
and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:
33-5:13 Thy
graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of
thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine
hands.
33-7:14 Feed
thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine
heritage, which dwell solitarily in the
wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in
Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
34-3:13 Behold,
thy people in the midst of thee are women:
the gates of thy land shall be set wide open unto thine
enemies: the fire shall devour thy bars.
35-3:8 Was
the LORD displeased against the rivers? was
thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou
didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
35-3:11 The
sun and moon stood still in their habitation:
at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering
spear.
35-3:13 Thou
wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine
anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering
the foundation unto the neck. Selah.
35-3:15 Thou
didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
36-3:15 The
LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine
enemy: the king of Israel, even the
LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou
shalt not see evil any more.
36-3:16 In
that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be
slack.
38-3:4 And
he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the
filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe
thee with change of raiment.
38-5:5 Then
the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
38-13:6 And
one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
40-5:25 Agree
with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in
the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and
the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
40-5:33 Again,
ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not
forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine
oaths:
40-5:43 Ye
have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
40-6:2 Therefore
when thou doest thine
alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the
synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say
unto you, They have their reward.
40-6:4 That
thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which
seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
40-6:13 And
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever. Amen.
40-6:17 But
thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and
wash thy face;
40-6:22 The
light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine
eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
40-6:23 But
if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be

saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand.
And he stretched it forth; and it was
restored whole, like as the other.

then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.

If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now
they are hid from thine eyes.
42-19:43 For

in on every side,

I make thine enemies thy footstool.

43-9:17 They
say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
43-9:26 Then
said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?
43-17:5 And
now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
43-17:6 I
have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they
have kept thy word.

pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me;
for they are thine.

it remained, was it not thine own? and after it
was sold, was it not in thine own power? why
