T,264 thing
01-1:24 And
God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle,
and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after
his kind: and it was so.
01-1:25 And
God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind,
and every thing that creepeth upon the earth
after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
01-1:26 And
God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the
cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
01-1:28 And
God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea,
and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing
that moveth upon the earth.
01-1:30 And
to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is
life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
01-1:31 And
God saw every thing that he had made, and,
behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
01-6:7 And
the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the
earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing,
and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
01-6:17 And,
behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all
flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
01-6:19 And
of every living thing of all flesh, two of every
sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be
male and female.
01-6:20 Of
fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort
shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
01-7:8 Of
clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
01-7:14 They,
and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping
thing that creepeth upon the earth after his
kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
01-7:21 And
all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of
beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth, and every man:
01-8:1 And
God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and
all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over
the earth, and the waters asswaged;
01-8:17 Bring
forth with thee every living thing that is with
thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may
breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
01-8:19 Every
beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and
whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the
ark.
01-8:21 And
the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not
again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s
heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
01-9:3 Every
moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you;
even as the green herb have I given you all things.
01-14:23 That
I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take
any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest
say, I have made Abram rich:
01-18:14 Is
any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time
appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah
shall have a son.
01-18:17 And
the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing
which I do;
01-19:21 And
he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for
the which thou hast spoken.
01-19:22 Haste
thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing
till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
01-20:10 And
Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?
01-21:11 And
the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight
because of his son.
01-21:26 And
Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing:
neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.
01-22:12 And
he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God,
seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
01-22:16 And
said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
01-24:50 Then
Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing
proceedeth from the LORD: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good.
01-30:31 And
he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing
for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock.
01-34:7 And
the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were
grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in
lying with Jacob’s daughter; which thing ought
not to be done.
01-34:14 And
they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to
give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:
01-34:19 And
the young man deferred not to do the thing,
because he had delight in Jacob’s daughter: and he was more honourable than all
the house of his father.
01-38:10 And
the thing which he did displeased the LORD:
wherefore he slew him also.
01-39:9 There
is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how
then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
01-39:23 The
keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that
was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the
LORD made it to prosper.
01-41:28 This
is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh:
What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.
01-41:32 And
for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly
bring it to pass.
01-41:37 And
the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and
in the eyes of all his servants.
01-44:7 And
they said unto him, Wherefore saith my lord these words? God forbid that thy
servants should do according to this thing:
02-1:18 And
the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done
this thing, and have saved the men children
alive?
02-2:14 And
he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me,
as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.
02-2:15 Now
when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay
Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of
Midian: and he sat down by a well.
02-9:5 And
the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.
02-9:6 And
the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all
the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not
one.
02-10:15 For
they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and
they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the
hail had left: and there remained not any green thing
in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
02-12:24 And
ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to
thee and to thy sons for ever.
02-16:14 And
when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness
there lay a small round thing, as small as the
hoar frost on the ground.
02-16:16 This
is the thing which the LORD hath commanded,
Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man,
according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are
in his tents.
02-16:32 And
Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD
commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may
see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you
forth from the land of Egypt.
02-18:11 Now
I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.
02-18:14 And
when Moses’ father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is
this thing that thou doest to the people? why
sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto
even?
02-18:17 And
Moses’ father in law said unto him, The thing
that thou doest is not good.
02-18:18 Thou
wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to
perform it thyself alone.
02-18:23 If
thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee
so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to
their place in peace.
02-20:4 Thou
shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth
beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
02-20:17 Thou
shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s
wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any
thing that is thy neighbour’s.
02-22:9 For
all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment,
or for any manner of lost thing, which another
challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges;
and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.
02-22:15 But
if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.
02-29:1 And
this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to
hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: Take one young
bullock, and two rams without blemish,
02-33:17 And
the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing
also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know
thee by name.
02-34:10 And
he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels,
such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the
people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible
thing that I will do with thee.
02-35:4 And
Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This
is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
03-2:3 And
the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by
fire.
03-2:10 And
that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a
thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD
made by fire.
03-4:13 And
if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they
have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning
things which should not be done, and are guilty;
03-5:2 Or
if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be
a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase
of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be
unclean, and guilty.
03-5:5 And
it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall
confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
03-5:16 And
he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it
unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of
the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
03-6:2 If
a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour
in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his
neighbour;
03-6:4 Then
it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that
which he took violently away, or the thing which
he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the
lost thing which he found,
03-6:7 And
the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be
forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath
done in trespassing therein.
03-7:19 And
the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall
not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be
clean shall eat thereof.
03-7:21 Moreover
the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as
the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace
offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from
his people.
03-8:5 And
Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing
which the LORD commanded to be done.
03-9:6 And
Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD
commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.
03-11:10 And
all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move
in the waters, and of any living thing which is
in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
03-11:21 Yet
these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing
that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon
the earth;
03-11:35 And
every thing whereupon any part of their carcase
falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be
broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
03-11:41 And
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the
earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
03-11:43 Ye
shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing
that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye
should be defiled thereby.
03-11:44 For
I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be
holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
03-12:4 And
she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days;
she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into
the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
03-13:48 Whether
it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in
any thing made of skin;
03-13:49 And
if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in
the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of
skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:
03-13:52 He
shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in
linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague
is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
03-13:53 And
if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment,
either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing
of skin;
03-13:54 Then
the priest shall command that they wash the thing
wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
03-13:57 And
if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in
any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague:
thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.
03-13:58 And
the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing
of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then
it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
03-13:59 This
is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in
the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to
pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
03-15:4 Every
bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
03-15:6 And
he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that
hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be
unclean until the even.
03-15:10 And
whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him
shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall
wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-15:20 And
every thing that she lieth upon in her
separation shall be unclean: every thing also
that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
03-15:22 And
whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon
shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the
even.
03-15:23 And
if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she
sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
03-17:2 Speak
unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say
unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath
commanded, saying,
03-19:8 Therefore
every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the
hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall
be cut off from among his people.
03-19:26 Ye
shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither
shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
03-20:17 And
if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s
daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their
people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
03-20:21 And
if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they
shall be childless.
03-20:25 Ye
shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between
unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast,
or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing
that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
03-21:18 For
whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man,
or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing
superfluous,
03-22:4 What
man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall
not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed
goeth from him;
03-22:5 Or
whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby
he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever
uncleanness he hath;
03-22:10 There
shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a
sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.
03-22:14 And
if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then
he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest
with the holy thing.
03-22:23 Either
a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing
superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill
offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
03-23:37 These
are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to
offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat
offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing
upon his day:
03-27:23 Then
the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the
year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.
03-27:28 Notwithstanding
no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto
the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his
possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing
is most holy unto the LORD.
04-4:15 And
when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the
vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons
of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of
the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-16:9 Seemeth
it but a small thing unto you, that the God of
Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to
himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before
the congregation to minister unto them?
04-16:13 Is
it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out
of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness,
except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
04-16:30 But
if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open
her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go
down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked
the LORD.
04-17:13 Whosoever
cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the
LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
04-18:7 Therefore
thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest’s office for every thing of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall
serve: I have given your priest’s office unto you as a service of gift: and the
stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
04-18:15 Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.
04-20:19 And
the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and
my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without
doing any thing else, go through on my feet.
04-22:38 And
Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power at all to
say any thing? the word that God putteth in my
mouth, that shall I speak.
04-30:1 And
Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel,
saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath
commanded.
04-31:23 Every
thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it
go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified
with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make
go through the water.
04-32:20 And
Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing,
if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,
04-35:22 But
if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait,
04-36:6 This
is the thing which the LORD doth command
concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they
think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.
05-1:14 And
ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou
hast spoken is good for us to do.
05-1:32 Yet
in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your
God,
05-4:18 The
likeness of any thing that creepeth on the
ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:
05-4:23 Take
heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which
he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.
05-4:25 When
thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have remained
long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the
likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the
sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:
05-4:32 For
ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that
God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the
other, whether there hath been any such thing as
this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?
05-5:8 Thou
shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth
beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
05-5:21 Neither
shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy
neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or
his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
05-7:26 Neither
shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and
thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.
05-8:9 A
land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of
whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
05-12:32 What
thing soever I command you, observe to do it:
thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
05-13:14 Then
shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be
truth, and the thing certain, that such
abomination is wrought among you;
05-13:17 And
there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to
thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew
thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn
unto thy fathers;
05-14:3 Thou
shalt not eat any abominable thing.
05-14:19 And
every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto
you: they shall not be eaten.
05-14:21 Ye
shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself:
thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it;
or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD
thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
05-15:10 Thou
shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest
unto him: because that for this thing the LORD
thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine
hand unto.
05-15:15 And
thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD
thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing
to day.
05-16:4 And
there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days;
neither shall there any thing of the flesh,
which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the
morning.
05-17:4 And
it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and,
behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that
such abomination is wrought in Israel:
05-17:5 Then
shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked
thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that
woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.
05-18:22 When
a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing
follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing
which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously:
thou shalt not be afraid of him.
05-22:3 In
like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment;
and with all lost thing of thy brother’s, which
he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide
thyself.
05-22:20 But
if this thing be true, and the tokens of
virginity be not found for the damsel:
05-23:9 When
the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.
05-23:14 For
the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give
up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no
unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
05-23:19 Thou
shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals,
usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
05-24:10 When
thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt
not go into his house to fetch his pledge.
05-24:18 But
thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God
redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
05-24:22 And
thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I
command thee to do this thing.
05-26:11 And
thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the
LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite,
and the stranger that is among you.
05-31:13 And
that their children, which have not known any thing,
may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land
whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
05-32:47 For
it is not a vain thing for you; because it is
your life: and through this thing ye shall
prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
06-4:10 For
the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD commanded Joshua to
speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the
people hasted and passed over.
06-6:18 And
ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing,
lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and
trouble it.
06-7:1 But
the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the
son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against
the children of Israel.
06-7:11 Israel
hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded
them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing,
and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among
their own stuff.
06-7:13 Up,
sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus
saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing
in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies,
until ye take away the accursed thing from among
you.
06-7:15 And
it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing
shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed
the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.
06-9:24 And
they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how
that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and
to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were
sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.
06-14:6 Then
the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh
the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing
that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in
Kadeshbarnea.
06-21:45 There
failed not ought of any good thing which the
LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
06-22:20 Did
not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of
Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity.
06-22:24 And
if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing,
saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying,
What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?
06-22:33 And
the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the
children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up against them in
battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt.
06-23:14 And,
behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your
hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing
hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning
you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing
hath failed thereof.
07-6:29 And
they said one to another, Who hath done this thing?
And when they enquired and asked, they said, Gideon the son of Joash hath done
this thing.
07-8:27 And
Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah: and all
Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing
became a snare unto Gideon, and to his house.
07-11:25 And
now art thou any thing better than Balak the son
of Zippor, king of Moab? did he ever strive against Israel, or did he ever
fight against them,
07-11:37 And
she said unto her father, Let this thing be done
for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains,
and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows.
07-13:4 Now
therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not
any unclean thing:
07-13:7 But
he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no
wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing:
for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.
07-13:14 She
may not eat of any thing that cometh of the
vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe.
07-18:7 Then
the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein,
how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure;
and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had
no business with any man.
07-18:10 When
ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath
given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.
07-19:19 Yet
there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine
also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy
servants: there is no want of any thing.
07-19:24 Behold,
here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and
humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man
do not so vile a thing.
07-20:9 But
now this shall be the thing which we will do to
Gibeah; we will go up by lot against it;
07-21:11 And
this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall
utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.
08-3:18 Then
said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for
the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.
09-3:11 And
the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing
in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
09-3:17 And
he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath
said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also,
if thou hide any thing from me of all the things
that he said unto thee.
09-4:7 And
the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they
said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing
heretofore.
09-8:6 But
the thing displeased Samuel, when they said,
Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
09-12:16 Now
therefore stand and see this great thing, which
the LORD will do before your eyes.
09-14:12 And
the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come
up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And
Jonathan said unto his armourbearer, Come up after me: for the LORD hath
delivered them into the hand of Israel.
09-15:9 But
Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen,
and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not
utterly destroy them: but every thing that was
vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
09-18:20 And
Michal Saul’s daughter loved David: and they told Saul, and the thing pleased him.
09-18:23 And
Saul’s servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth
it to you a light thing to be a king’s son in
law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed?
09-20:2 And
he said unto him, God forbid; thou shalt not die: behold, my father will do
nothing either great or small, but that he will shew it me: and why should my
father hide this thing from me? it is not so.
09-20:26 Nevertheless
Saul spake not any thing that day: for he thought,
Something hath befallen him, he is not clean; surely he is not clean.
09-20:39 But
the lad knew not any thing: only Jonathan and
David knew the matter.
09-21:2 And
David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business,
and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing
of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I
have appointed my servants to such and such a place.
09-22:15 Did
I then begin to enquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king
impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all
the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.
09-24:6 And
he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD’S anointed, to stretch
forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.
09-25:15 But
the men were very good unto us, and we were not hurt, neither missed we any thing, as long as we were conversant with them, when
we were in the fields:
09-26:16 This
thing is not good that thou hast done. As the
LORD liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not kept your master, the
LORD’S anointed. And now see where the king’s spear is, and the cruse of water
that was at his bolster.
09-28:10 And
Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no
punishment happen to thee for this thing.
09-28:18 Because
thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon
Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing
unto thee this day.
09-30:19 And
there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor
daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that
they had taken to them: David recovered all.
10-2:6 And
now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this
kindness, because ye have done this thing.
10-3:13 And
he said, Well; I will make a league with thee: but one thing
I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except thou first bring
Michal Saul’s daughter, when thou comest to see my face.
10-7:19 And
this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord
GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to
come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?
10-11:11 And
Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my
lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall
I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as
thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
10-11:25 Then
David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as
well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow
it: and encourage thou him.
10-11:27 And
when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she
became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing
that David had done displeased the LORD.
10-12:5 And
David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As
the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing
shall surely die:
10-12:6 And
he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
10-12:12 For
thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing
before all Israel, and before the sun.
10-12:21 Then
said his servants unto him, What thing is this
that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive;
but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
10-13:2 And
Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a
virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do any thing
to her.
10-13:12 And
she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this
folly.
10-13:20 And
Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but
hold now thy peace, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother
Absalom’s house.
10-13:33 Now
therefore let not my lord the king take the thing
to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead: for Amnon only is
dead.
10-14:13 And
the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the people of God? for the king doth speak this thing as one which is faulty, in that the king doth
not fetch home again his banished.
10-14:15 Now
therefore that I am come to speak of this thing
unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me afraid: and thy
handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will
perform the request of his handmaid.
10-14:18 Then
the king answered and said unto the woman, Hide not from me, I pray thee, the thing that I shall ask thee. And the woman said, Let
my lord the king now speak.
10-14:20 To
fetch about this form of speech hath thy servant Joab done this thing: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of
an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth.
10-14:21 And
the king said unto Joab, Behold now, I have done this thing:
go therefore, bring the young man Absalom again.
10-15:11 And
with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, that were called; and they
went in their simplicity, and they knew not any thing.
10-15:35 And
hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the priests? therefore it
shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear
out of the king’s house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.
10-15:36 Behold,
they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz Zadok’s son, and Jonathan
Abiathar’s son; and by them ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can hear.
10-17:19 And
the woman took and spread a covering over the well’s mouth, and spread ground
corn thereon; and the thing was not known.
10-24:3 And
Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many
soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it:
but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?
11-1:27 Is
this thing done by my lord the king, and thou
hast not shewed it unto thy servant, who should sit on the throne of my lord
the king after him?
11-3:10 And
the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
11-3:11 And
God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing,
and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for
thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself
understanding to discern judgment;
11-10:3 And
Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing
hid from the king, which he told her not.
11-11:10 And
had commanded him concerning this thing, that he
should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.
11-12:24 Thus
saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the
children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word
of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.
11-12:30 And
this thing became a sin: for the people went to
worship before the one, even unto Dan.
11-13:33 After
this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil
way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places:
whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the
high places.
11-13:34 And
this thing became sin unto the house of
Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
11-14:5 And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.
11-14:13 And
all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall
come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of
Jeroboam.
11-15:5 Because
David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside
from any thing that he commanded him all the
days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
11-16:31 And
it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing
for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife
Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served
Baal, and worshipped him.
11-20:9 Wherefore
he said unto the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou
didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do: but this thing I may not do. And the messengers departed, and
brought him word again.
11-20:24 And
do this thing, Take the kings away, every man
out of his place, and put captains in their rooms:
11-20:33 Now
the men did diligently observe whether any thing
would come from him, and did hastily catch it: and they said, Thy brother
Benhadad. Then he said, Go ye, bring him. Then Benhadad came forth to him; and
he caused him to come up into the chariot.
12-2:10 And
he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing:
nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto
thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
12-3:18 And
this is but a light thing in the sight of the
LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.
12-4:2 And
Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the
house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing
in the house, save a pot of oil.
12-5:13 And
his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet
had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou
not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be
clean?
12-5:18 In
this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that
when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth
on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in
the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.
12-6:11 Therefore
the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them,
Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?
12-7:2 Then
a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold,
if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing
be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat
thereof.
12-7:19 And
that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should
make windows in heaven, might such a thing be?
And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat
thereof.
12-8:9 So
Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and came and
stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to
thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
12-8:13 And
Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me
that thou shalt be king over Syria.
12-11:5 And
he commanded them, saying, This is the thing
that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be
keepers of the watch of the king’s house;
12-17:12 For
they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.
12-20:9 And
Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward
ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
12-20:10 And
Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the
shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten
degrees.
13-2:7 And
the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
13-11:19 And
said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing:
shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for
with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink
it. These things did these three mightiest.
13-13:4 And
all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.
13-17:17 And
yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God;
for thou hast also spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, and
hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.
13-17:23 Therefore
now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken
concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do
as thou hast said.
13-21:3 And
Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they
be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why then doth my
lord require this thing? why will he be a cause
of trespass to Israel?
13-21:7 And
God was displeased with this thing; therefore he
smote Israel.
13-21:8 And
David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity
of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
13-26:28 And
all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner,
and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his
brethren.
14-9:20 And
all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of
the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it
was not any thing accounted of in the days of
Solomon.
14-11:4 Thus
saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return
every man to his house: for this thing is done
of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against
Jeroboam.
14-16:10 Then
Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a
rage with him because of this thing. And Asa
oppressed some of the people the same time.
14-23:4 This
is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of
you entering on the sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be
porters of the doors;
14-23:19 And
he set the porters at the gates of the house of the LORD, that none which was
unclean in any thing should enter in.
14-29:36 And
Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for
the thing was done suddenly.
14-30:4 And
the thing pleased the king and all the
congregation.
15-7:27 Blessed
be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing
as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in
Jerusalem:
15-9:3 And
when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and
my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down
astonied.
15-10:2 And
Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto
Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the
people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
15-10:13 But
the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to
stand without, neither is this a work of one day or two: for we are many that
have transgressed in this thing.
16-2:19 But
when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem
the Arabian, heard it, they laughed
us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye
rebel against the king?
16-13:17 Then
I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this
that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
17-2:4 And
let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so.
17-2:22 And
the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther
certified the king thereof in
Mordecai’s name.
17-5:14 Then
said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of
fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be
hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the
thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows
to be made.
17-6:13 And
Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said
his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall,
thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.
17-8:5 And
said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right
before the king, and I be pleasing in
his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of
Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king’s provinces:
18-3:25 For
the thing which I greatly feared is come upon
me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
18-4:12 Now
a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear
received a little thereof.
18-6:8 Oh
that I might have my request; and that God would grant me the thing that I long for!
18-9:22 This
is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the
wicked.
18-12:10 In
whose hand is the soul of every
living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
18-13:28 And
he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment
that is moth eaten.
18-14:4 Who
can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
18-15:11 Are the consolations of God small with
thee? is there any secret thing with thee?
18-22:28 Thou
shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be
established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
18-23:14 For
he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
18-26:3 How
hast thou counselled him that hath no
wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully
declared the thing as it is?
18-28:10 He
cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.
18-28:11 He
bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the
thing that is hid bringeth he forth to
light.
18-33:32 If
thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak,
for I desire to justify thee.
18-39:8 The
range of the mountains is his
pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.
18-42:2 I
know that thou canst do every thing, and that
no thought can be withholden from thee.
18-42:7 And
it was so, that after the LORD had
spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is
kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me
the thing
that is right, as my servant Job hath.
18-42:8 Therefore
take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and
offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for
you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing
which is right, like my servant Job.
19-2:1 Why
do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
19-27:4 One
thing have
I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of
the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to
enquire in his temple.
19-33:17 An
horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
19-34:10 The
young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not
want any good thing.
19-38:20 They
also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing
that good is.
19-69:34 Let
the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing
that moveth therein.
19-84:11 For
the LORD God is a sun and shield: the
LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk
uprightly.
19-89:34 My
covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that
is gone out of my lips.
19-92:1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD,
and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
19-101:3 I
will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I
hate the work of them that turn aside; it
shall not cleave to me.
19-141:4 Incline
not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work
iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
19-145:16 Thou
openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
19-150:6 Let
every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.
Praise ye the LORD.
20-4:7 Wisdom
is the principal thing; therefore
get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
20-18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and
obtaineth favour of the LORD.
20-22:18 For
it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee; they shall withal
be fitted in thy lips.
20-25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
20-27:7 The
full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
21-1:9 The
thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
21-1:10 Is
there any thing
whereof it may be said, See, this is new?
it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
21-3:1 To
every thing
there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
21-3:11 He
hath made every thing
beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that
no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
21-3:14 I
know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to
it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
21-3:19 For
that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other;
yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast:
for all is vanity.
21-5:2 Be
not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing
before God: for God is in heaven, and
thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
21-6:5 Moreover
he hath not seen the sun, nor known any thing: this hath more rest than the other.
21-7:8 Better
is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better
than the proud in spirit.
21-8:1 Who
is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and
the boldness of his face shall be changed.
21-8:3 Be
not hasty to go out of his sight: stand not in an evil thing;
for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.
21-8:5 Whoso
keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing:
and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.
21-8:15 Then
I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing
under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide
with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the
sun.
21-9:5 For
the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the
memory of them is forgotten.
21-9:6 Also
their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have
they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.
21-11:7 Truly
the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for
the eyes to behold the sun:
21-12:14 For
God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it
be good, or whether it be evil.
23-7:13 And
he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is
it a small thing for you to weary men, but
will ye weary my God also?
23-15:6 For
the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass
faileth, there is no green thing.
23-17:13 The
nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be
chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.
23-19:7 The
paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven
away, and be no more.
23-29:16 Surely
your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for
shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no
understanding?
23-29:21 That
make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in
the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of
nought.
23-38:7 And
this shall be a sign unto thee from
the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that
he hath spoken;
23-40:15 Behold,
the nations are as a drop of a
bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up
the isles as a very little thing.
23-41:12 Thou
shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even
them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as
nothing, and as a thing of nought.
23-43:19 Behold,
I will do a new thing; now it shall spring
forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
23-49:6 And
he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest
be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of
Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be
my salvation unto the end of the earth.
23-52:11 Depart
ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of
her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
23-55:11 So
shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto
I sent it.
23-64:6 But
we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade
as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
23-66:8 Who
hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such
things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed,
she brought forth her children.
24-2:10 For
pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider
diligently, and see if there be such a thing.
24-2:19 Thine
own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee:
know therefore and see that it is an
evil thing
and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of
hosts.
24-5:30 A
wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the
land;
24-7:23 But
this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice,
and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways
that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
24-11:13 For
according to the number of thy cities
were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the
number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing,
even altars to burn incense unto
Baal.
24-14:14 Then
the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither
have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false
vision and divination, and a thing of nought,
and the deceit of their heart.
24-18:13 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things:
the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing.
24-22:4 For
if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there
enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David,
riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
24-23:14 I
have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also
the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all
of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
24-31:22 How
long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created
a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass
a man.
24-32:27 Behold,
I am the LORD, the God of all flesh:
is there any thing too hard for me?
24-33:14 Behold,
the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel
and to the house of Judah.
24-38:5 Then
Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in
your hand: for the king is not he that can do any thing against you.
24-38:14 Then
Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third
entry that is in the house of the
LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me.
24-40:3 Now
the LORD hath brought it, and done
according as he hath said: because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have
not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is
come upon you.
24-40:16 But
Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not
do this thing: for thou speakest falsely of
Ishmael.
24-42:3 That
the LORD thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.
24-42:4 Then
Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your
words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever
thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back
from you.
24-42:21 And
now I have this day declared it to you; but ye have not obeyed the
voice of the LORD your God, nor any thing for the which he hath sent me unto you.
24-44:4 Howbeit
I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable
thing that I hate.
24-44:17 But
we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth
forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to
pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our
kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of
Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of
victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
25-2:13 What
thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem?
what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion?
for thy breach is great like the sea:
who can heal thee?
26-8:17 Then
he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O
son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of
Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have
filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and,
lo, they put the branch to their nose.
26-14:9 And
if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing,
I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him,
and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
26-16:47 Yet
hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but,
as if that were a very little thing, thou
wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.
26-34:18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but
ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have
drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?
26-44:18 They
shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon
their loins; they shall not gird themselves
with any thing that causeth sweat.
26-44:29 They
shall eat the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering:
and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be
theirs.
26-44:31 The
priests shall not eat of any thing that is dead
of itself, or torn, whether it be fowl or beast.
26-47:9 And
it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the
rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of
fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and
every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
26-48:12 And
this oblation of the land that is
offered shall be unto them a thing most holy by
the border of the Levites.
27-2:5 The
king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing
is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the
interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be
made a dunghill.
27-2:8 The
king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time,
because ye see the thing is gone from me.
27-2:11 And
it is a rare thing
that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the
king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
27-2:15 He
answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, Why is the decree so hasty
from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known
to Daniel.
27-2:17 Then
Daniel went to his house, and made the thing
known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:
27-3:29 Therefore
I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill:
because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
27-4:33 The
same hour was the thing fulfilled upon
Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his
body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.
27-5:15 And
now the wise men, the astrologers,
have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make
known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the
interpretation of the thing:
27-5:26 This
is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and
finished it.
27-6:12 Then
they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast
thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O
king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true,
according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
27-10:1 In
the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing
was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true,
but the time appointed was long: and
he understood the thing, and had understanding
of the vision.
28-6:10 I
have seen an horrible thing in the house of
Israel: there is the whoredom of
Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
28-8:3 Israel
hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.
28-8:12 I
have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
30-6:13 Ye
which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say,
Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?
32-3:7 And
he caused it to be proclaimed and
published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let
neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing:
let them not feed, nor drink water:
39-1:14 But
cursed be the deceiver, which hath in
his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a
great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
40-8:33 And
they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the
devils.
40-18:19 Again
I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them
of my Father which is in heaven.
40-19:16 And,
behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
40-20:20 Then
came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
40-21:24 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell
you by what authority I do these things.
40-24:17 Let
him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing
out of his house:
41-1:27 And
they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying,
What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth
he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
41-4:22 For
there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
41-5:32 And
he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
41-7:18 And
he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive,
that whatsoever thing from without entereth into
the man, it cannot defile him;
41-9:22 And
ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him:
but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion
on us, and help us.
41-10:21 Then
Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing
thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and
thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
41-11:13 And
seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing
but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
41-13:15 And
let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
41-16:8 And
they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were
amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
41-16:18 They
shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing,
it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover.
42-1:35 And
the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and
the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the
Son of God.
42-2:15 And
it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the
shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made
known unto us.
42-6:9 Then
said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing;
Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to
destroy it?
42-8:17 For
nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid,
that shall not be known and come abroad.
42-9:21 And
he straitly charged them, and commanded them
to tell no man that thing;
42-10:42 But
one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that
good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
42-12:11 And
when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
42-12:26 If
ye then be not able to do that thing which is
least, why take ye thought for the rest?
42-18:22 Now
when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto
the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
42-19:8 And
Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I
give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing
from any man by false accusation, I restore him
fourfold.
42-20:3 And
he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
42-22:23 And
they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do
this thing.
42-22:35 And
he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked
ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
43-1:3 All
things were made by him; and without him was not any thing
made that was made.
43-1:46 And
Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing
come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
43-5:14 Afterward
Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made
whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto
thee.
43-7:4 For
there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and
he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to
the world.
43-9:25 He
answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or
no, I know not: one thing I know, that,
whereas I was blind, now I see.
43-9:30 The
man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
43-14:14 If
ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
43-18:34 Jesus
answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself,
or did others tell it thee of me?
44-5:4 Whiles
it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine
own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in
thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
44-10:14 But
Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing
that is common or unclean.
44-10:28 And
he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing
for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation;
but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
44-12:12 And
when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John,
whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.
44-17:21 (For
all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing
else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)
44-17:25 Neither
is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
44-19:32 Some
therefore cried one thing, and some another: for
the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come
together.
44-19:39 But
if ye enquire any thing concerning other
matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly.
44-21:25 As
touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing,
save only that they keep themselves from things
offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.
44-21:34 And
some cried one thing, some another, among the
multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he
commanded him to be carried into the castle.
44-23:17 Then
Paul called one of the centurions unto him,
and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a
certain thing to tell him.
44-25:8 While
he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against
the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I offended any thing at all.
44-25:11 For
if I be an offender, or have committed any thing
worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof
these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
44-25:26 Of
whom I have no certain thing to write unto my
lord. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee,
O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.
44-26:8 Why
should it be thought a thing incredible with
you, that God should raise the dead?
44-26:10 Which
thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints
did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and
when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.
44-26:26 For
the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am
persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.
45-7:18 For
I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find
not.
45-8:33 Who
shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s
elect? It is God that justifieth.
45-9:20 Nay
but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
45-13:6 For
for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending
continually upon this very thing.
45-13:8 Owe
no man any thing, but to love one another: for
he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
45-14:14 I
know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
45-14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to
drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is
offended, or is made weak.
45-14:22 Hast
thou faith? have it to thyself before
God. Happy is he that condemneth not
himself in that thing which he alloweth.
46-1:5 That
in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all
utterance, and in all knowledge;
46-1:10 Now
I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all
speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the
same judgment.
46-2:2 For
I determined not to know any thing among you,
save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
46-3:7 So
then neither is he that planteth any thing,
neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
46-4:3 But
with me it is a very small thing that I should
be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
46-8:2 And
if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he
knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
46-8:7 Howbeit
there is not in every man that
knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing
offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
46-9:11 If
we have sown unto you spiritual things, is
it a great thing if we shall reap your
carnal things?
46-9:17 For
if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward:
but if against my will, a dispensation of
the gospel is committed unto me.
46-10:19 What
say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that
which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
46-14:30 If
any thing be
revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.
46-14:35 And
if they will learn any thing, let them ask their
husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
47-2:10 To
whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I
it in the person of Christ;
47-3:5 Not
that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing
as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of
God;
47-5:5 Now
he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the
earnest of the Spirit.
47-6:3 Giving
no offence in any thing, that the ministry be
not blamed:
47-6:17 Wherefore
come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the
unclean thing;
and I will receive you,
47-7:11 For
behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed
after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what
zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be
clear in this matter.
47-7:14 For
if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am
not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting,
which I made before Titus, is found a
truth.
47-8:7 Therefore,
as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and
in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
47-9:11 Being
enriched in every thing to all bountifulness,
which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
47-10:5 Casting
down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ;
47-11:15 Therefore
it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the
ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
47-12:8 For
this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it
might depart from me.
48-4:18 But
it is good to be zealously affected
always in a good thing, and not only when I am
present with you.
48-5:6 For
in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing,
nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
48-6:15 For
in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing,
nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
49-4:28 Let
him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing
which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
49-5:24 Therefore
as the church is subject unto Christ, so let
the wives be to their own
husbands in every thing.
49-5:27 That
he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle,
or any such thing; but that it should be holy
and without blemish.
49-6:8 Knowing
that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the
same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he
be bond or free.
50-1:6 Being
confident of this very thing, that he which hath
begun a good work in you will perform it until
the day of Jesus Christ:
50-3:13 Brethren,
I count not myself to have apprehended: but this
one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth
unto those things which are before,
50-3:15 Let
us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even
this unto you.
50-3:16 Nevertheless,
whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the
same thing.
50-4:6 Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God.
52-1:8 For
from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but
also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need
not to speak any thing.
52-5:18 In
every thing give thanks: for this is the will of
God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
53-1:6 Seeing
it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that
trouble you;
54-1:10 For
whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for
liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing
that is contrary to sound doctrine;
55-1:14 That
good thing which was committed unto thee keep by
the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
56-2:8 Sound
speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be
ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
57-1:6 That
the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of
every good thing which is in you in Christ
Jesus.
58-10:29 Of
how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath
trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing,
and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
58-10:31 It is a fearful thing
to fall into the hands of the living God.
58-11:40 God
having provided some better thing for us, that
they without us should not be made perfect.
58-13:9 Be
not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be
established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have
been occupied therein.
59-1:7 For
let not that man think that he shall receive any thing
of the Lord.
60-4:12 Beloved,
think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though
some strange thing happened unto you:
61-3:8 But,
beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that
one day is with the Lord as a thousand
years, and a thousand years as one day.
62-2:8 Again,
a new commandment I write unto you, which thing
is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now
shineth.
62-5:14 And
this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
66-2:15 So hast thou
also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
66-9:4 And it
was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither
any green thing, neither any tree; but only
those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
66-21:27 And there
shall in no wise enter into it any thing that
defileth, neither whatsoever worketh
abomination, or maketh a lie: but
they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
