44-ACTS
44-2:28 Thou
hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
44-2:35 Until
I make thy foes thy
footstool.
44-3:25 Ye
are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our
fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed
shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
44-4:25 Who
by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why
did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
44-4:27 For
of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom
thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the
people of Israel, were gathered together,
44-4:28 For
to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
44-4:29 And
now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy
servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy
word,
44-4:30 By
stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by
the name of thy holy child Jesus.
44-5:9 Then
Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit
of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the
door, and shall carry thee out.
44-7:3 And
said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and
from thy kindred, and come into the land which I
shall shew thee.
44-7:32 Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God
of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled,
and durst not behold.
44-7:33 Then
said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy
ground.
44-8:20 But
Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee,
because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
44-8:21 Thou
hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy
heart is not right in the sight of God.
44-8:22 Repent
therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if
perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
44-9:13 Then
Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath
done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
44-9:14 And
here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
44-9:15 But
the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a
chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the
children of Israel:
44-9:17 And
Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him
said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus,
that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou
mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with
the Holy Ghost.
44-9:34 And
Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
44-10:4 And
when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said
unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up
for a memorial before God.
44-10:31 And
said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine
alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
44-11:14 Who
shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy
house shall be saved.
44-12:8 And
the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy
sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy
garment about thee, and follow me.
44-14:10 Said
with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet.
And he leaped and walked.
44-16:31 And
they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
44-18:9 Then
spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and
hold not thy peace:
44-22:13 Came
unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.
44-22:16 And
now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
44-22:18 And
saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for
they will not receive thy testimony concerning
me.
44-22:20 And
when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I
also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of
them that slew him.
44-23:5 Then
said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is
written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy
people.
44-24:2 And
when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that
very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy
providence,
44-24:4 Notwithstanding,
that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us
of thy clemency a few words.
44-24:25 And
as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix
trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this
time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
44-26:16 But
rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have
appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both
of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will
appear unto thee;
45-ROMANS
45-2:5 But
after thy hardness and impenitent heart
treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the
righteous judgment of God;
45-2:17 Behold,
thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
45-2:23 Thou
that makest thy boast of the law, through
breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
45-2:25 For
circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker
of the law, thy circumcision is made
uncircumcision.
45-3:4 God
forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou
mightest be justified in thy sayings, and
mightest overcome when thou art judged.
45-4:18 Who
against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations,
according to that which was spoken, So shall thy
seed be.
45-8:36 As
it is written, For thy sake we are killed all
the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
45-9:7 Neither,
because they are the seed of Abraham, are
they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy
seed be called.
45-10:8 But
what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even
in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
45-10:9 That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
45-11:3 Lord,
they have killed thy prophets, and digged down
thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
45-13:9 For
this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not
steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is
briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
45-14:10 But
why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost
thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all
stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
45-14:15 But
if thy brother be grieved with thy meat,
now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy
meat, for whom Christ died.
45-14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to
drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made
weak.
45-15:9 And
that the Gentiles might glorify God for his
mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the
Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
46-1 CORINTHIANS
46-7:16 For
what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O
man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
46-8:11 And
through thy knowledge shall the weak brother
perish, for whom Christ died?
46-14:16 Else
when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of
the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks,
seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
46-15:55 O
death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
48-GALATIANS
48-3:16 Now
to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as
of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which
is Christ.
48-5:14 For
all the law is fulfilled in one word, even
in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself.
49-EPHESIANS
49-6:2 Honour
thy father and mother; which is the first
commandment with promise;
54-1 TIMOTHY
54-4:12 Let
no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example
of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in
purity.
54-4:15 Meditate
upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy
profiting may appear to all.
54-5:23 Drink
no longer water, but use a little wine for thy
stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.
54-6:20 O
Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy
trust, avoiding profane and vain
babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
55-2 TIMOTHY
55-1:4 Greatly
desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy
tears, that I may be filled with joy;
55-1:5 When
I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in
thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee
also.
55-4:5 But
watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist,
make full proof of thy ministry.
55-4:9 Do
thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
55-4:21 Do
thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus
greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
55-4:22 The
Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be
with you. Amen.
57-PHILEMON
57-1:2 And
to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus
our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy
house:
57-1:5 Hearing
of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward
the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
57-1:6 That
the communication of thy faith may become effectual
by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
57-1:7 For
we have great joy and consolation in thy love,
because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
57-1:13 Whom
I would have retained with me, that in thy stead
he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
57-1:14 But
without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but
willingly.
57-1:21 Having
confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee,
knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
58-HEBREWS
58-1:8 But
unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is
for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
58-1:9 Thou
hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy
God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy
fellows.
58-1:12 And
as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art
the same, and thy years shall not fail.
58-1:13 But
to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make
thine enemies thy footstool?
58-2:7 Thou
madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and
honour, and didst set him over the works of thy
hands:
58-2:12 Saying,
I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the
midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
58-10:7 Then
said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
58-10:9 Then
said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He
taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
58-11:18 Of
whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed
be called:
59-JAMES
59-2:8 If
ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
59-2:18 Yea,
a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy
works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
63-2 JOHN
63-1:4 I
rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children
walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
63-1:13 The
children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.
64-3 JOHN
64-1:2 Beloved,
I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
64-1:6 Which
have borne witness of thy charity before the church:
whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do
well:
66-REVELATION
66-2:2 I
know thy works, and thy
labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not
bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles,
and are not, and hast found them liars:
66-2:4 Nevertheless
I have somewhat against thee, because
thou hast left thy first love.
66-2:5 Remember
therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or
else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy
candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
66-2:9 I
know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but
thou art rich) and I know the
blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
66-2:13 I
know thy works and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and
hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain
among you, where Satan dwelleth.
66-2:19 I
know thy works, and charity, and service, and
faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
66-3:1 And
unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath
the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy
works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
66-3:2 Be
watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I
have not found thy works perfect before God.
66-3:8 I
know thy works: behold, I have set before thee
an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast
kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
66-3:9 Behold,
I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are
not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
66-3:11 Behold,
I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
66-3:15 I
know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor
hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
66-3:18 I
counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and
white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do
not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
66-4:11 Thou
art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast
created all things, and for thy pleasure they
are and were created.
66-5:9 And
they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the
seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and
people, and nation;
66-10:9 And
I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said
unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and
it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be
in thy mouth sweet as honey.
66-11:17 Saying,
We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come;
because thou hast taken to thee thy great power,
and hast reigned.
66-11:18 And
the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come,
and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest
give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and
to the saints, and them that fear thy name,
small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
66-14:15 And
another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat
on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap:
for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
66-14:18 And
another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried
with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine
of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
66-15:3 And
they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb,
saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy
ways, thou King of saints.
66-15:4 Who
shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy
name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and
worship before thee; for thy judgments are made
manifest.
66-16:7 And
I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and
righteous are thy judgments.
66-18:10 Standing
afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon,
that mighty city! for in one hour is thy
judgment come.
66-18:14 And
the fruits that thy soul lusted after are
departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed
from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
66-18:23 And
the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the
bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
66-19:10 And
I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy
brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of
Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
66-22:9 Then
saith he unto me, See thou do it not:
for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the
sayings of this book: worship God.
