01-GENESIS
01-42:23 And they
knew not that Joseph understood them; for
he spake unto them by an interpreter.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-32:29 O that
they were wise, that they understood
this, that they would consider their latter end!
09-1 SAMUEL
09-4:6 And when
the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What meaneth the
noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of the LORD was come into the
camp.
09-26:4 David
therefore sent out spies, and understood that
Saul was come in very deed.
10-3:37 For all
the people and all Israel understood that day
that it was not of the king to slay Abner the son of Ner.
16-8:12 And all
the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to
make great mirth, because they had understood
the words that were declared unto them.
16-13:7 And I
came to Jerusalem, and understood of the evil
that Eliashib did for Tobiah, in preparing him a chamber in the courts of the
house of God.
18-13:1 Lo, mine
eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood
it.
18-42:3 Who is
he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I
knew not.
19-73:17 Until I
went into the sanctuary of God; then understood
I their end.
19-81:5 This he
ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of
Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood
not.
19-106:7 Our
fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt;
they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at
the sea, even at the Red sea.
23-40:21 Have ye
not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning?
have ye not understood from the foundations of
the earth?
23-44:18 They have
not known nor understood: for he hath shut their
eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot
understand.
27-8:27 And I
Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did
the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
27-9:2 In the
first year of his reign I Daniel understood by
books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the
prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of
Jerusalem.
27-10:1 In the
third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name
was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was
long: and he understood the thing, and had
understanding of the vision.
27-12:8 And I
heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my
Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
40-13:51 Jesus
saith unto them, Have ye understood all these
things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
40-16:12 Then understood they how that he bade them not
beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the
Sadducees.
40-17:13 Then the
disciples understood that he spake unto them of
John the Baptist.
40-26:10 When Jesus
understood it, he said unto them, Why
trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
41-9:32 But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask
him.
42-2:50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
42-9:45 But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them,
that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.
42-18:34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid
from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
43-8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
43-10:6 This
parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood
not what things they were which he spake unto them.
43-12:16 These
things understood not his disciples at the
first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things
were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
44-7:25 For he
supposed his brethren would have understood how
that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood
not.
44-23:27 This man
was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an
army, and rescued him, having understood that he
was a Roman.
44-23:34 And when
the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And
when he understood that he was of
Cilicia;
45-1:20 For the
invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his
eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
46-13:11 When I was
a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a
child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish
things.
46-14:9 So
likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for
ye shall speak into the air.
61-3:16 As also
in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some
things hard to be understood, which they that
are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures,
unto their own destruction.

23-ISAIAH
23-38:14 Like a
crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes
fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.

17-ESTHER
17-9:23 And the
Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as
Mordecai had written unto them;

23-ISAIAH
23-58:6 Is not
this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go
free, and that ye break every yoke?
36-ZEPHANIAH
36-3:19 Behold,
at that time I will undo all that afflict thee:
and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I
will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

04-NUMBERS
04-21:29 Woe to
thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of
Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity
unto Sihon king of the Amorites.
06-JOSHUA
06-11:15 As the LORD
commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he
left nothing undone of all that the LORD
commanded Moses.
23-ISAIAH
23-6:5 Then
said I, Woe is me! for I am undone;
because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people
of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
40-MATTHEW
40-23:23 Woe unto
you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and
cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment,
mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
42-LUKE
42-11:42 But woe
unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and
pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to
leave the other undone.

03-LEVITICUS
03-25:5 That
which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather
the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it
is a year of rest unto the land.
03-25:11 A jubile
shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which
groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

26-EZEKIEL
26-18:25 Yet ye

house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not
my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good
conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
55-2 TIMOTHY
55-1:5 When I

thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I
am persuaded that in thee also.
60-1 PETER
60-1:22 Seeing ye
have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love
one another with a pure heart fervently:

41-MARK
41-4:19 And the
cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other
things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
46-1 CORINTHIANS
46-14:14 For if I
pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
49-EPHESIANS

56-TITUS
56-3:14 And let ours
also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
61-2 PETER
61-1:8 For if

our Lord Jesus Christ.

45-ROMANS
45-1:18 For the
wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness
and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the
Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from
Jacob:
55-2 TIMOTHY
55-2:16 But shun
profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
56-TITUS
56-2:12 Teaching

we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

10-2 SAMUEL
10-22:5 When the
waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly
men made me afraid;
14-2 CHRONICLES
14-19:2 And Jehu
the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat,
Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that
hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.
18-16:11 God hath
delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over
into the hands of the wicked.
18-34:18 Is it
fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye
are ungodly?
19-1:1 Blessed is
the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
19-1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the
chaff which the wind driveth away.
19-1:5 Therefore
the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor
sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
19-1:6 For the
LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
19-3:7 Arise, O
LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the
cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
19-18:4 The
sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly
men made me afraid.
19-43:1 Judge me,
O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly
nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
19-73:12 Behold,
these are the ungodly, who prosper in the
world; they increase in riches.
20-16:27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there
is as a burning fire.
20-19:28 An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of
the wicked devoureth iniquity.
45-4:5 But to
him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
45-5:6 For when
we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
54-1:9 Knowing
this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and
disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners,
for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for
manslayers,
60-4:18 And if
the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly
and the sinner appear?
61-2:5 And
spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of
righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
61-2:6 And
turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with
an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
61-3:7 But the
heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store,
reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
65-1:4 For
there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to
this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the
grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our
Lord Jesus Christ.
65-1:15 To
execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly
deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of
all their hard speeches which ungodly
sinners have spoken against him.
65-1:18 How that
they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after
their own ungodly lusts.

20-28:8 He that

20-29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he

36-3:5 The just

42-16:10 He that is

42-18:11 The

46-1 CORINTHIANS
46-14:2 For he

speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit
in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
46-14:4 He that

46-14:13 Wherefore

46-14:14 For if I

46-14:19 Yet in the

46-14:16 Else when

day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened
bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from
Israel.
02-12:17 And ye
shall observe the feast of unleavened
bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of
Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance
for ever.
02-12:18 In the

02-34:18 The feast
of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days
thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded
thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from
Egypt.
03-2:4 And if
thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil,
and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and
cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.
03-8:2 Take
Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a
bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;
03-8:26 And out
of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before
the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a
cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon
the right shoulder:
03-23:6 And on
the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat
unleavened bread.
04-6:15 And a
basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour
mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread
anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.
04-6:17 And he
shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD,
with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest
shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.
04-6:19 And the priest
shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened
cake out of the basket, and one unleavened
wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the
hair of his separation is shaven:
04-9:11 The
fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat
it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
04-28:17 And in the
fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.
05-16:3 Thou
shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of
affliction: for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou
mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the
days of thy life.
05-16:8 Six days
thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the
seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt
do no work therein.
05-16:16 Three
times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place
which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened
bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they
shall not appear before the LORD empty:
06-5:11 And they
did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the
selfsame day.
07-JUDGES
07-6:19 And
Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and unleavened
cakes of an ephah of flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth
in a pot, and brought it out unto him under the oak, and presented it.
07-6:20 And the
angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened
cakes, and lay them upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did
so.
07-6:21 Then the
angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand,
and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes;
and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed
out of his sight.
09-28:24 And the woman
had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took flour, and
kneaded it, and did bake unleavened bread
thereof:
12-23:9 Nevertheless
the priests of the high places came not up to the altar of the LORD in
Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened
bread among their brethren.
13-23:29 Both for
the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the
pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
14-8:13 Even
after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses,
on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in
the year, even in the feast of unleavened
bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.
14-30:13 And there
assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
14-30:21 And the
children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and
the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with
loud instruments unto the LORD.
14-35:17 And the
children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the
feast of unleavened bread seven days.
15-6:22 And kept
the feast of unleavened bread seven days with
joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of
Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God,
the God of Israel.
26-45:21 In the
first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the
passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened
bread shall be eaten.
40-26:17 Now the
first day of the feast of unleavened
bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we
prepare for thee to eat the passover?
41-14:1 After two
days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened
bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by
craft, and put him to death.
41-14:12 And the
first day of unleavened bread, when they killed
the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and
prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
42-22:1 Now the
feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is
called the Passover.
42-22:7 Then came
the day of unleavened bread, when the passover
must be killed.
44-12:3 And
because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also.
(Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
44-20:6 And we
sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened
bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
46-5:7 Purge
out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed
for us:
46-5:8 Therefore
let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice
and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread
of sincerity and truth.

03-LEVITICUS
03-22:6 The soul
which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the
holy things, unless he wash his flesh with
water.
04-NUMBERS
04-22:33 And the
ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless
she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.
10-2 SAMUEL
10-2:27 And Joab
said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst
spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from
following his brother.
19-PSALMS
19-27:13 I had
fainted, unless I had believed to see the
goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
19-94:17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had
almost dwelt in silence.
19-119:92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should
then have perished in mine affliction.
20-PROVERBS
20-4:16 For they sleep
not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
46-1 CORINTHIANS
46-15:2 By which
also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of
whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
42-LUKE
42-3:16 John answered,
saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier
than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and
with fire:
43-JOHN
43-1:27 He it is,
who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not
worthy to unloose.

46-1 CORINTHIANS
46-7:8 I say
therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good
for them if they abide even as I.
46-7:11 But and
if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be
reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
46-7:32 But I
would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried
careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
46-7:34 There is
difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be
holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things
of the world, how she may please her husband.

46-1 CORINTHIANS
46-15:58 Therefore,

always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour
