01-GENESIS
01-42:21 And they
said one to another, We are verily guilty
concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he
besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us.
02-EXODUS
02-31:13 Speak thou
also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily
my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you
throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD
that doth sanctify you.
07-15:2 And her
father said, I verily thought that thou hadst
utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her
younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her.
11-1:43 And
Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah, Verily
our lord king David hath made Solomon king.
12-4:14 And he
said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old.
13-21:24 And king
David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy
it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine
for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
18-19:13 He hath
put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily
estranged from me.
19-37:3 Trust in
the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
19-39:5 Behold,
thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as
nothing before thee: verily every man at his
best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
19-58:11 So that a
man shall say, Verily there is a reward
for the righteous: verily he is a God that
judgeth in the earth.
19-66:19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to
the voice of my prayer.
19-73:13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and
washed my hands in innocency.
23-45:15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O
God of Israel, the Saviour.
24-15:11 The LORD
said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in
the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
40-5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one
jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
40-5:26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come
out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
40-6:2 Therefore
when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the
hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of
men. Verily I say unto you, They have their
reward.
40-6:5 And when
thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to
pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they
may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They
have their reward.
40-6:16 Moreover
when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they
disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
40-8:10 When
Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great
faith, no, not in Israel.
40-10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for
the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
40-10:23 But when
they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the
cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
40-10:42 And
whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water
only in the name of a disciple, verily I say
unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
40-11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of
women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he
that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
40-13:17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and
righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and
have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and
have not heard them.
40-16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here,
which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his
kingdom.
40-17:20 And Jesus
said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily
I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto
this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing
shall be impossible unto you.
40-18:3 And said,
Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted,
and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
40-18:13 And if so be
that he find it, verily I say unto you, he
rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not
astray.
40-18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on
earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be
loosed in heaven.
40-19:23 Then said
Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you,
That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
40-19:28 And Jesus
said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye
which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in
the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the
twelve tribes of Israel.
40-21:21 Jesus
answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto
you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is
done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
40-21:31 Whether of
them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first.
Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you,
That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
40-23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come
upon this generation.
40-24:2 And Jesus
said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily
I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall
not be thrown down.
40-24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass,
till all these things be fulfilled.

over all his goods.

answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know
you not.
40-25:40 And the
King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I
say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these
my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
40-25:45 Then shall
he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not
to me.
40-26:13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall
be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman
hath done, be told for a memorial of her.

they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you,
that one of you shall betray me.
40-26:34 Jesus said
unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this
night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
41-3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto
the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
41-6:11 And
whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off
the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily
I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of
judgment, than for that city.
41-8:12 And he
sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a
sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign
be given unto this generation.

said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That
there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till
they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
41-9:12 And he
answered and told them, Elias verily cometh
first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that
he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.

whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong
to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not
lose his reward.
41-10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the
kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
41-10:29 And Jesus
answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There
is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother,
or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
41-11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not
doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall
come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
41-12:43 And he
called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast
more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
41-13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not
pass, till all these things be done.
41-14:9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall
be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done
shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
41-14:18 And as
they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say
unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.

fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt
deny me thrice.

said, Verily, I say unto you, No prophet is
accepted in his own country.

blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and
the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be
required of this generation.

those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and
make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

your house is left unto you desolate: and verily
I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall
say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye
receive not our witness.

these also doeth the Son likewise.

unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath
everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from
death unto life.

the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread
from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but
if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent
greater than he that sent him.

unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that
receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the
Father in my name, he will give it you.
43-21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou
wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and
another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

pleased them verily; and their debtors they are.

duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so
done this deed,

my reward then? Verily that, when I
preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse
not my power in the gospel.
