01-GENESIS
01-49:6 O my soul,
come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou
united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged
down a wall.
01-49:22 Joseph is
a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches
run over the wall:
02-EXODUS
02-14:22 And the
children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and
the waters were a wall unto them on their
right hand, and on their left.
02-14:29 But the
children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the
waters were a wall unto them on their
right hand, and on their left.
03-14:37 And he
shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls
of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower
than the wall;
03-25:31 But the
houses of the villages which have no wall round
about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed,
and they shall go out in the jubile.
04-22:24 But the
angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall
being on this side, and a wall on that
side.
04-22:25 And when
the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall: and he smote her again.
04-35:4 And the
suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from
the wall of the city and outward a thousand
cubits round about.
06-2:15 Then she
let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the
town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.
06-6:5 And it
shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s
horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall
shout with a great shout; and the wall of the
city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight
before him.
06-6:20 So the
people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to
pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted
with a great shout, that the wall fell down
flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him,
and they took the city.
09-18:11 And Saul cast
the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his
presence twice.
09-19:10 And Saul
sought to smite David even to the wall with the
javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin
into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that
night.
09-20:25 And the
king sat upon his seat, as at other times, even upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul’s
side, and David’s place was empty.
09-25:16 They were
a wall unto us both by night and day, all the
while we were with them keeping the sheep.
09-25:22 So and
more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to
him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
09-25:34 For in
very deed, as the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back
from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there
had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
09-31:10 And they
put his armour in the house of Ashtaroth: and they fastened his body to the wall of Bethshan.
09-31:12 All the
valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies
of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came
to Jabesh, and burnt them there.
10-11:20 And if so
be that the king’s wrath arise, and he say unto thee, Wherefore approached ye
so nigh unto the city when ye did fight? knew ye not that they would shoot from
the wall?
10-11:21 Who smote Abimelech
the son of Jerubbesheth? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him
from the wall, that he died in Thebez? why went
ye nigh the wall? then say thou, Thy servant
Uriah the Hittite is dead also.
10-11:24 And the
shooters shot from off the wall upon thy
servants; and some of the king’s servants be dead, and thy servant Uriah
the Hittite is dead also.
10-18:24 And David
sat between the two gates: and the watchman went up to the roof over the gate
unto the wall, and lifted up his eyes, and looked,
and behold a man running alone.
10-20:15 And they
came and besieged him in Abel of Bethmaachah, and they cast up a bank against
the city, and it stood in the trench: and all the people that were with
Joab battered the wall, to throw it down.
10-20:21 The matter
is not so: but a man of mount Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name,
hath lifted up his hand against the king, even against David: deliver
him only, and I will depart from the city. And the woman said unto Joab,
Behold, his head shall be thrown to thee over the wall.
10-22:30 For by
thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
11-3:1 And
Solomon made affinity with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and took Pharaoh’s daughter,
and brought her into the city of David, until he had made an end of building
his own house, and the house of the LORD, and the wall
of Jerusalem round about.
11-4:33 And he
spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the
hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake
also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
11-6:5 And
against the wall of the house he built chambers
round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of
the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
11-6:6 The
nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six
cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in
the wall of the house he made narrowed rests
round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the
house.
11-6:27 And he
set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of
the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the
other wall; and their wings touched one another
in the midst of the house.
11-6:31 And for
the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and
side posts were a fifth part of the wall.
11-6:33 So also
made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of
the wall.
11-9:15 And this is
the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised; for to build the house of
the LORD, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall
of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
11-14:10 Therefore,
behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from
Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and
him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of
the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.
11-16:11 And it
came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he
slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
11-20:30 But the rest
fled to Aphek, into the city; and there a wall
fell upon twenty and seven thousand of the men that were left. And
Benhadad fled, and came into the city, into an inner chamber.
11-21:21 Behold, I
will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off
from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and
him that is shut up and left in Israel,
11-21:23 And of
Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.
12-3:27 Then he
took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for
a burnt offering upon the wall. And there
was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned
to their own land.
12-4:10 Let us
make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall;
and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a
candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in
thither.
12-6:26 And as
the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall,
there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king.
12-6:30 And it
came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his
clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the
people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth within upon his flesh.
12-9:8 For the
whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth
against the wall, and him that is shut up and
left in Israel:
12-9:33 And he
said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was
sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he
trode her under foot.
12-14:13 And
Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son
of Ahaziah, at Bethshemesh, and came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the
corner gate, four hundred cubits.
12-18:26 Then said
Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray
thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and
talk not with us in the Jews’ language in the ears of the people that are on
the wall.
12-18:27 But
Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to
speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on
the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and
drink their own piss with you?
12-20:2 Then he
turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the
LORD, saying,
14-3:11 And the
wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one
cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall
of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to
the wing of the other cherub.
14-3:12 And one
wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five
cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
14-25:23 And Joash
the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of
Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the
corner gate, four hundred cubits.
14-26:6 And he
went forth and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall
of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built
cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines.
14-26:9 Moreover
Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate,
and at the turning of the wall, and
fortified them.
14-27:3 He built
the high gate of the house of the LORD, and on the wall
of Ophel he built much.
14-32:5 Also he
strengthened himself, and built up all the wall
that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of
David, and made darts and shields in abundance.
14-32:18 Then they
cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ speech unto the people of Jerusalem that were
on the wall, to affright them, and to
trouble them; that they might take the city.
14-33:14 Now after
this he built a wall without the city of David,
on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish
gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put
captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
14-36:19 And they
burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall
of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all
the goodly vessels thereof.
15-5:3 At the
same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and
Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath
commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?
15-9:9 For we were
bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended
mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to
set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give
us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
16-1:3 And they
said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are
in great affliction and reproach: the wall
of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with
fire.
16-2:8 And a
letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber
to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the
house, and for the wall of the city, and for the
house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good
hand of my God upon me.
16-2:15 Then went
I up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall,
and turned back, and entered by the gate of the valley, and so returned.
16-2:17 Then said
I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste,
and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
16-3:8 Next
unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him
also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they
fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.
16-3:13 The
valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set
up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand
cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
16-3:15 But the
gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of
Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks
thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of
the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and unto the stairs that go down from
the city of David.
16-3:19 And next to
him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over
against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.
16-3:20 After him
Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of
the wall unto the door of the house of
Eliashib the high priest.
16-3:24 After him
repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah
unto the turning of the wall, even unto
the corner.
16-3:25 Palal the
son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall,
and the tower which lieth out from the king’s high house, that was by
the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.
16-3:27 After
them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that
lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.
16-4:1 But it
came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and
mocked the Jews.
16-4:3 Now
Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build,
if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
16-4:6 So built
we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had
a mind to work.
16-4:10 And Judah
said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much
rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall.
16-4:13 Therefore
set I in the lower places behind the wall, and
on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their
swords, their spears, and their bows.
16-4:15 And it
came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had
brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
16-4:17 They
which builded on the wall, and they that bare
burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought
in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.
16-4:19 And I
said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The
work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another.
16-5:16 Yea, also
I continued in the work of this wall, neither
bought we any land: and all my servants were gathered thither unto the
work.
16-6:1 Now it came
to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of
our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall,
and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had
not set up the doors upon the gates;)
16-6:6 Wherein was
written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou
and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to
these words.
16-6:15 So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of
the month Elul, in fifty and two days.
16-7:1 Now it
came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had
set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were
appointed,
16-12:27 And at the
dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought
the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the
dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals,
psalteries, and with harps.
16-12:30 And the priests
and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates,
and the wall.
16-12:31 Then I
brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall,
and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof
one went on the right hand upon the wall
toward the dung gate:
16-12:37 And at the
fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the
city of David, at the going up of the wall,
above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.
16-12:38 And the
other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and
I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall,
from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
16-13:21 Then I
testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on
you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.
19-18:29 For by
thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
19-62:3 How long
will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a
bowing wall shall ye be, and as a
tottering fence.
20-18:11 The rich
man’s wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall
in his own conceit.
20-24:31 And, lo, it
was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face
thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken
down.
22-2:9 My
beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself
through the lattice.
22-8:9 If she be
a wall, we will build upon her a palace of
silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar.
22-8:10 I am a
wall, and my breasts like towers: then was I in
his eyes as one that found favour.
23-2:15 And upon
every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,
23-5:5 And now
go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the
hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
23-22:10 And ye
have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to
fortify the wall.
23-25:4 For thou
hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a
refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible
ones is as a storm against the wall.
23-30:13 Therefore
this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high
wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an
instant.
23-36:11 Then said
Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy
servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it; and speak not to
us in the Jews’ language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
23-36:12 But
Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these
words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink
their own piss with you?
23-38:2 Then
Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and
prayed unto the LORD,
23-59:10 We grope
for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we
had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in
desolate places as dead men.
24-15:20 And I will
make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall:
and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for
I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
24-49:27 And I will
kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it
shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
24-51:44 And I will
punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he
hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him:
yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.
25-2:8 The LORD
hath purposed to destroy the wall of the
daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand
from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall
to lament; they languished together.
25-2:18 Their
heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the
daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself
no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.
26-4:3 Moreover
take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy
face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it.
This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
26-8:7 And he
brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
26-8:8 Then said
he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and
when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
26-8:10 So I went
in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts,
and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
26-12:5 Dig thou
through the wall in their sight, and carry out
thereby.
26-12:7 And I did
so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity,
and in the even I digged through the wall with
mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon
my shoulder in their sight.
26-12:12 And the
prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the
twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face,
that he see not the ground with his eyes.
26-13:10 Because,
even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no
peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others
daubed it with untempered morter:
26-13:12 Lo, when
the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto
you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
26-13:14 So will I
break down the wall that ye have daubed with
untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the
foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be
consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-13:15 Thus will
I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon
them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you,
The wall is no more, neither they
that daubed it;
26-23:14 And that
she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with
vermilion,
26-38:20 So that
the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the
field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are
upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains
shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
26-40:5 And
behold a wall on the outside of the house round
about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the
cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one
reed; and the height, one reed.
26-41:5 After he
measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and
the breadth of every side chamber, four cubits, round about the house on
every side.
26-41:6 And the
side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and
they entered into the wall which was of
the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but
they had not hold in the wall of the house.
26-41:9 The
thickness of the wall, which was for the
side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left
was the place of the side chambers that were within.
26-41:12 Now the
building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was
seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the
building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof
ninety cubits.
26-41:17 To that
above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about within and without, by measure.
26-41:20 From the
ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on
the wall of the temple.
26-42:7 And the wall that was without over against the
chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length
thereof was fifty cubits.
26-42:10 The chambers
were in the thickness of the wall of the
court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the
building.
26-42:12 And
according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was
a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.
26-42:20 He
measured it by the four sides: it had a wall
round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a
separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
26-43:8 In their
setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and
the wall between me and them, they have even
defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore
I have consumed them in mine anger.
27-5:5 In the
same hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the
candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the
king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.
27-9:25 Know
therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment
to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven
weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
28-2:6 Therefore,
behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths.
29-2:7 They
shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall
like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not
break their ranks:
29-2:9 They
shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall
enter in at the windows like a thief.
30-1:7 But I
will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall
devour the palaces thereof:
30-1:10 But I
will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which
shall devour the palaces thereof.
30-1:14 But I
will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it
shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a
tempest in the day of the whirlwind:
30-5:19 As if a
man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and
leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit
him.
30-7:7 Thus he
shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall
made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.
34-2:5 He shall
recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make haste
to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be
prepared.
34-3:8 Art thou
better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the
waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea?
35-2:11 For the
stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam
out of the timber shall answer it.
38-2:5 For I,
saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire
round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
44-9:25 Then the
disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.
44-23:3 Then said
Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me
to be smitten contrary to the law?
47-11:33 And
through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall,
and escaped his hands.
49-2:14 For he is
our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
66-21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and
at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of
the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
66-21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them
the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
66-21:15 And he
that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates
thereof, and the wall thereof.
66-21:17 And he
measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty
and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of
the angel.
66-21:18 And the
building of the wall of it was of jasper:
and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
66-21:19 And the
foundations of the wall of the city were garnished
with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the
second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for

upon us.

shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in
the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of
your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.

shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or
reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;
03-14:39 And the priest
shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the
plague be spread in the walls of the house;
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-3:5 All
these cities were fenced with high walls,
gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.
05-28:52 And he
shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout
all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy
land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
11-4:13 The son
of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of
Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region
of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:
11-6:5 And
against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the
walls of the house round about, both of
the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
11-6:6 The
nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits
broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of
the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not
be fastened in the walls of the house.
11-6:15 And he
built the walls of the house within with boards
of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls
of the cieling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and
covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
11-6:16 And he
built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for
it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.
11-6:29 And he
carved all the walls of the house round about
with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and
without.
