01-GENESIS
01-1:7 And God
made the firmament, and divided the waters which
were under the firmament from the waters which
were above the firmament: and it was so.
01-1:21 And God
created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their
kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
01-1:29 And God
said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in
the which is the fruit of a tree yielding
seed; to you it shall be for meat.
01-2:2 And on
the seventh day God ended his work which he had
made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
01-2:3 And God
blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested
from all his work which God created and made.
01-2:11 The name
of the first is Pison: that is it which
compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
01-2:14 And the
name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth
river is Euphrates.
01-2:22 And the
rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made
he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
01-3:1 Now the
serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which
the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall
not eat of every tree of the garden?
01-3:3 But of
the fruit of the tree which is in the
midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye
touch it, lest ye die.
01-3:17 And unto
Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast
eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee,
saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in
sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
01-3:24 So he
drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims,
and a flaming sword which turned every way, to
keep the way of the tree of life.
01-4:11 And now art
thou cursed from the earth, which hath
opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;
01-5:29 And he
called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our
work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which
the LORD hath cursed.
01-6:2 That the
sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took
them wives of all which they chose.
01-6:4 There
were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of
God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them,
the same became mighty men which were of
old, men of renown.
01-6:15 And this is
the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The
length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty
cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
01-7:23 And every
living substance was destroyed which was upon
the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the
fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only
remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
01-8:6 And it
came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
01-8:7 And he
sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro,
until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
01-8:12 And he
stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which
returned not again unto him any more.
01-9:4 But
flesh with the life thereof, which is the
blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
01-9:12 And God
said, This is the token of the covenant which
I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you,
for perpetual generations:
01-9:15 And I
will remember my covenant, which is between
me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more
become a flood to destroy all flesh.
01-9:17 And God
said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that
is upon the earth.
01-11:5 And the LORD
came down to see the city and the tower, which
the children of men builded.
01-11:6 And the
LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language;
and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
01-13:4 Unto the
place of the altar, which he had made there at
the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD.
01-13:5 And Lot
also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and
herds, and tents.
01-13:15 For all
the land which thou seest, to thee will I give
it, and to thy seed for ever.
01-13:18 Then Abram
removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar
unto the LORD.
01-14:2 That
these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah,
Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
01-14:3 All these
were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which
is the salt sea.
01-14:6 And the
Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan, which
is by the wilderness.
01-14:7 And they
returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh,
and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt
in Hazezontamar.
01-14:15 And he
divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them,
and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on
the left hand of Damascus.
01-14:17 And the
king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of
Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of
Shaveh, which is the king’s dale.
01-14:20 And
blessed be the most high God, which hath
delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
01-14:24 Save only
that which the young men have eaten, and the
portion of the men which went with me, Aner,
Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
01-16:15 And Hagar
bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son’s name, which
Hagar bare, Ishmael.
01-17:10 This is
my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me
and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be
circumcised.
01-17:12 And he
that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your
generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any
stranger, which is not of thy seed.
01-17:21 But my
covenant will I establish with Isaac, which
Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
01-18:8 And he
took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had
dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree,
and they did eat.
01-18:10 And he
said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo,
Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
01-18:13 And the LORD
said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear
a child, which am old?
01-18:17 And the
LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which
I do;
01-18:19 For I know
him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they
shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may
bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of
him.
01-18:21 I will go
down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it,
which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
01-18:27 And
Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the
Lord, which am but dust and ashes:
01-19:5 And they
called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto
us, that we may know them.
01-19:8 Behold
now, I have two daughters which have not known
man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good
in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the
shadow of my roof.
01-19:14 And Lot
went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which
married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD
will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
01-19:15 And when
the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife,
and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou
be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
01-19:19 Behold
now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy
mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving
my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I
die:
01-19:21 And he said
unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not
overthrow this city, for the which thou hast
spoken.
01-19:25 And he
overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the
cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
01-19:29 And it
came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered
Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the
cities in the which Lot dwelt.
01-20:3 But God
came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but
a dead man, for the woman which thou hast
taken; for she is a man’s wife.
01-20:13 And it
came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I said
unto her, This is thy kindness which thou
shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my
brother.
01-21:2 For Sarah
conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
01-21:9 And Sarah
saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had
born unto Abraham, mocking.
01-21:25 And
Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which
Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.
01-21:29 And
Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?
01-22:2 And he
said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get
thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one
of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
01-22:3 And
Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his
young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt
offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which
God had told him.
01-22:9 And they came
to the place which God had told him of; and
Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his
son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
01-22:17 That in
blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the
stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is
upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
01-23:9 That he
may give me the cave of Machpelah, which he
hath, which is in the end of his field;
for as much money as it is worth he shall give it me for a possession of a
buryingplace amongst you.
01-23:16 And
Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth,
four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.
01-23:17 And the
field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave
which was therein, and all the trees that
were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were
made sure
01-24:7 The LORD
God of heaven, which took me from my father’s
house, and from the land of my kindred, and which
spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this
land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my
son from thence.
01-24:24 And she
said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.
01-24:42 And I came
this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou
do prosper my way which I go:
01-24:48 And I
bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my
master Abraham, which had led me in the right
way to take my master’s brother’s daughter unto his son.
01-24:60 And they
blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the
mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those
which hate them.
01-25:6 But unto
the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had,
Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived,
eastward, unto the east country.
01-25:7 And these
are the days of the years of Abraham’s life which
he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.
01-25:9 And his
sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of
Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is
before Mamre;
01-25:10 The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was
Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
01-26:2 And the
LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
01-26:3 Sojourn
in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and
unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
01-26:15 For all
the wells which his father’s servants had digged
in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled
them with earth.
01-26:18 And Isaac digged
again the wells of water, which they had digged
in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after
the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.
01-26:32 And it
came to pass the same day, that Isaac’s servants came, and told him concerning
the well which they had digged, and said unto
him, We have found water.
01-26:35 Which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah.
01-27:8 Now
therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which
I command thee.
01-27:15 And
Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which
were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:
01-27:17 And she
gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she
had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.
01-27:27 And he
came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed
him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:
01-27:45 Until thy
brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and
fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?
01-27:46 And
Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth:
if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good
shall my life do me?
01-28:4 And give
thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou
mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which
God gave unto Abraham.
01-28:9 Then went
Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which
he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebajoth,
to be his wife.
01-28:15 And,
behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither
thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave
thee, until I have done that which I have
spoken to thee of.
01-28:22 And this
stone, which I have set for a pillar,
shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the
tenth unto thee.
01-29:27 Fulfil her
week, and we will give thee this also for the service which
thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.
01-30:26 Give me
my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for
thou knowest my service which I have done thee.
01-30:30 For it
was little which thou hadst before I came,
and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the LORD hath blessed
thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?
01-30:37 And Jacob
took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled
white strakes in them, and made the white appear which
was in the rods.
01-30:38 And he set
the rods which he had pilled before the flocks
in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they
should conceive when they came to drink.
01-31:1 And he
heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our
father’s; and of that which was our
father’s hath he gotten all this glory.
01-31:10 And it
came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes,
and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which
leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled.
01-31:12 And he
said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which
leap upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have
seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.
01-31:16 For all
the riches which God hath taken from our father,
that is ours, and our children’s: now then, whatsoever God hath said
unto thee, do.
01-31:18 And he
carried away all his cattle, and all his goods which
he had gotten, the cattle of his getting, which
he had gotten in Padanaram, for to go to Isaac his father in the land of
Canaan.
01-31:39 That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto
thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether stolen
by day, or stolen by night.
01-31:43 And Laban
answered and said unto Jacob, These daughters are my daughters,
and these children are my children, and these cattle are
my cattle, and all that thou seest is mine: and what can I do this
day unto these my daughters, or unto their children which
they have born?
01-31:51 And Laban
said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and behold this pillar, which I have cast betwixt me and thee;
01-32:8 And said,
If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape.
01-32:9 And Jacob
said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to
thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:
01-32:10 I am not worthy
of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which
thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan;
and now I am become two bands.
01-32:12 And thou
saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.
01-32:13 And he
lodged there that same night; and took of that which
came to his hand a present for Esau his brother;
01-32:32 Therefore
the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which
shrank, which is upon the hollow of the
thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh in the
sinew that shrank.
01-33:5 And he
lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those
with thee? And he said, The children which God
hath graciously given thy servant.
01-33:8 And he
said, What meanest thou by all this drove which
I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
01-33:18 And Jacob
came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in
the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before
the city.
01-34:1 And Dinah
the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob,
went out to see the daughters of the land.
01-34:7 And the
sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were
grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in
lying with Jacob’s daughter; which thing ought
not to be done.
01-34:28 They took
their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which
was in the city, and that which was in
the field,
01-35:3 And let
us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who
answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
01-35:4 And they gave
unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in
their hand, and all their earrings which were
in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which
was by Shechem.
01-35:6 So Jacob
came to Luz, which is in the land of
Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with
him.
01-35:12 And the
land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I
will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.
01-35:19 And Rachel
died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which
is Bethlehem.
01-35:26 And the
sons of Zilpah, Leah’s handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of
Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram.
01-35:27 And Jacob
came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac
sojourned.
01-36:5 And
Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of
Esau, which were born unto him in the land of
Canaan.
01-36:6 And Esau
took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his
house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into
the country from the face of his brother Jacob.
01-37:6 And he
said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which
I have dreamed:
01-38:10 And the
thing which he did displeased the LORD:
wherefore he slew him also.
01-38:14 And she
put her widow’s garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped
herself, and sat in an open place, which is by
the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given
unto him to wife.
01-39:1 And
Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain
of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.
01-39:6 And he left
all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person,
and well favoured.
01-39:17 And she
spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to
mock me:
01-39:19 And it
came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner
did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.
01-39:23 The keeper
of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because
the LORD was with him, and that which he
did, the LORD made it to prosper.
01-40:5 And they
dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man
according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the
king of Egypt, which were bound in the
prison.
01-40:20 And it
came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s
birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head
of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.
01-41:28 This is
the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh:
What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.
01-41:36 And that food
shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land
perish not through the famine.
01-41:43 And he
made him to ride in the second chariot which he
had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over
all the land of Egypt.
01-41:48 And he
gathered up all the food of the seven years, which
were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the
field, which was round about every city,
laid he up in the same.
01-41:50 And unto
Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On
bare unto him.
01-42:9 And
Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of
them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land
ye are come.
01-42:38 And he
said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is
left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which
ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.
01-43:2 And it
came to pass, when they had eaten up the corn which
they had brought out of Egypt, their father said unto them, Go again, buy us a
little food.
01-43:26 And when
Joseph came home, they brought him the present which
was in their hand into the house, and bowed themselves to him to the
earth.
01-43:32 And they
set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the
Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an
abomination unto the Egyptians.
01-44:5 Is not
this it in which my lord drinketh, and
whereby indeed he divineth? ye have done evil in so doing.
01-44:8 Behold,
the money, which we found in our sacks’ mouths, we
brought again unto thee out of the land of Canaan: how then should we steal out
of thy lord’s house silver or gold?
01-45:6 For these
two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five
years, in the which there shall neither be
earing nor harvest.
01-45:27 And they
told him all the words of Joseph, which he had
said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which
Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:
01-46:5 And Jacob
rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and
their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which
Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
01-46:6 And they
took their cattle, and their goods, which they
had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed
with him:
01-46:8 And these
are the names of the children of Israel, which
came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.
01-46:15 These be

made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should

let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and

02-1:15 And the
king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which

02-3:7 And the
LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by
reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
02-3:16 Go, and
gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your
fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying,
I have surely visited you, and seen that which
is done to you in Egypt:
02-3:20 And I
will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that
he will let you go.
02-4:9 And it
shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither

pour it upon the dry land: and the water which
thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.

in peace.

LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead
which sought thy life.
02-4:21 And the

all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have
put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the
people go.
02-4:28 And Moses
told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.

God.

officers of the children of Israel, which
Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded,

day, as heretofore?

will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know
that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth
you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which
I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it
you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt
stand by the river’s brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.

saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I
will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be
turned to blood.
02-8:3 And the
river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which
shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy
bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine
ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
02-8:12 And Moses
and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the
frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which

the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is
in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the
oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.
02-9:19 Send
therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the
field; for upon every man and beast which
shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come
down upon them, and they shall die.
02-10:2 And that
thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I
have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have
done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.
02-10:5 And they
shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth:
and they shall eat the residue of that which is
escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail,
and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out
of the field:
02-10:6 And they
shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of
all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers,
nor thy fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth
unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh.
02-10:15 For they
covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they
did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any
green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of
Egypt.

LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which

locust in all the coasts of Egypt.

LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be
darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which
may be felt.

shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn
with fire.
02-12:16 And in the
first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day
there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in
them, save that which every man must eat,
that only may be done of you.
02-12:19 Seven days
shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off
from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
02-12:25 And it
shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which
the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this
service.
02-12:39 And they
baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they
brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust
out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any
victual.
02-13:3 And Moses
said unto the people, Remember this day, in which
ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand
the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread
be eaten.
02-13:5 And it
shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and
the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land
flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
02-13:8 And thou
shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out
of Egypt.

shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling
that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the
males shall be the LORD’S.
02-14:13 And Moses said
unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians
whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
02-14:19 And the
angel of God, which went before the camp of
Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from
before their face, and stood behind them:
02-14:31 And Israel
saw that great work which the LORD did upon the
Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his
servant Moses.
02-15:7 And in
the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up
against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which
consumed them as stubble.
02-15:13 Thou in
thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou
hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy
habitation.
02-15:16 Fear and
dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still
as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.
02-15:17 Thou shalt
bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the
place, O LORD, which thou hast made for
thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which
thy hands have established.
02-15:25 And he
cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made
sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved
them,
02-15:26 And said,
If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do
that which is right in his sight, and wilt give
ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these
diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon
the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
02-16:1 And they
took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of
Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is
between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after
their departing out of the land of Egypt.
02-16:5 And it
shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as
they gather daily.
02-16:8 And Moses
said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh
to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your
murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what
are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
02-16:15 And when
the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna:
for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the
bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
02-16:16 This is
the thing which the LORD hath commanded,
Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according
to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.
02-16:23 And he
said unto them, This is that which the
LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD:
bake that which ye will bake to day, and
seethe that ye will seethe; and that which
remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
02-16:26 Six days
ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which
is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
02-16:32 And Moses
said, This is the thing which the LORD
commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see
the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth
from the land of Egypt.
02-18:3 And her
two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom;
for he said, I have been an alien in a strange land:
02-18:9 And
Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the
LORD had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the
Egyptians.
02-19:6 And ye
shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the
words which thou shalt speak unto the children
of Israel.
02-19:7 And Moses
came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all
these words which the LORD commanded him.
02-19:22 And let
the priests also, which come near to the LORD,
sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.
02-20:2 I am the
LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the
land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
02-20:12 Honour thy
father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
02-21:1 Now these
are the judgments which thou shalt set
before them.
02-22:9 For all
manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for
raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which
another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before
the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto
his neighbour.
02-22:13 If it be
torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he
shall not make good that which was torn.
02-23:16 And the feast
of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which
thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast
gathered in thy labours out of the field.
02-23:20 Behold, I send
an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place
which I have prepared.
02-23:28 And I will
send hornets before thee, which shall drive out
the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
02-24:3 And Moses
came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and
all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
02-24:5 And he
sent young men of the children of Israel, which
offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
02-24:8 And Moses
took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the
blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made
with you concerning all these words.
02-24:12 And the
LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will
give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which
I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
02-25:3 And this is
the offering which ye shall take of them;
gold, and silver, and brass,
02-25:16 And thou
shalt put into the ark the testimony which I
shall give thee.
02-25:22 And there
I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat,
from between the two cherubims which are upon
the ark of the testimony, of all things which
I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
02-25:40 And look
that thou make them after their pattern, which
was shewed thee in the mount.
02-26:10 And thou
shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in
the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
02-26:13 And a
cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the
tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that
side, to cover it.
02-26:30 And thou
shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.
02-27:21 In the
tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which
is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening
to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute for ever unto their
generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
02-28:4 And these
are the garments which they shall make; a
breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a
girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons,
that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.
02-28:8 And the
curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon
it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of
blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
02-28:24 And thou
shalt put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.
02-28:26 And thou
shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the
breastplate in the border thereof, which is in
the side of the ephod inward.
02-28:38 And it shall
be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their
holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted
before the LORD.
02-29:27 And thou shalt
sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave
offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, even
of that which is for Aaron,
and of that which is for his sons:
02-29:35 And thus
shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou
consecrate them.
02-29:38 Now this is
that which thou shalt offer upon the altar;
two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
02-30:37 And as
for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye
shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be
unto thee holy for the LORD.
02-32:1 And when
the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people
gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this
Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is
become of him.
02-32:2 And Aaron
said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which
are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and
bring them unto me.
02-32:3 And all
the people brake off the golden earrings which were
in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
02-32:4 And he
received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after
he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O
Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of
Egypt.
02-32:7 And the
LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have
corrupted themselves:
02-32:8 They have
turned aside quickly out of the way which I
commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have
sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-32:11 And Moses
besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against
thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of
the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
02-32:14 And the
LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do
unto his people.
02-32:20 And he
took the calf which they had made, and burnt it
in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the
water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
02-32:23 For they
said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go
before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the
land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
02-32:32 Yet now,
if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy
book which thou hast written.
02-32:34 Therefore
now go, lead the people unto the place of which
I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless
in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
02-32:35 And the
LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which
Aaron made.
02-33:1 And the
LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt,
unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to
Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:
02-33:7 And Moses
took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp,
and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every
one which sought the LORD went out unto the
tabernacle of the congregation, which was without
the camp.
02-34:1 And the LORD
said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will
write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.
02-34:10 And he
said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such
as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people
among which thou art shall see the work
of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
02-34:11 Observe
thou that which I command thee this day: behold,
I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and
the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
02-34:34 But when
Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he
came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
02-35:1 And Moses
gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto
them, These are the words which the LORD
hath commanded, that ye should do them.
02-35:4 And Moses
spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the
thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
02-35:25 And all
the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of
purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
02-35:29 The
children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and
woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of
Moses.
02-36:3 And they
received of Moses all the offering, which the
children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to
make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every
morning.
02-36:4 And all the
wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his
work which they made;
02-36:5 And they
spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the
service of the work, which the LORD commanded to
make.
02-36:12 Fifty
loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the
curtain which was in the coupling of the
second: the loops held one curtain to another.
02-36:17 And he
made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and
fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which
coupleth the second.
02-36:25 And for
the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward
the north corner, he made twenty boards,
02-37:16 And he
made the vessels which were upon the table,
his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of
pure gold.
02-38:8 And he
made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the
lookingglasses of the women assembling, which
assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate,
upon the border of it, which was on the
side of the ephod inward.
