44-9:11     And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

44-9:21     But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

44-10:17    Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate,

44-10:18    And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

44-10:21    Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

44-10:36    The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

44-10:37    That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

44-10:39    And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

44-10:42    And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

44-10:44    While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

44-11:19    Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

44-11:20    And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

44-11:22    Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

44-11:28    And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

44-11:29    Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

44-11:30    Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

44-12:9     And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

44-12:10    When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

44-13:1     Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

44-13:7     Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

44-13:22    And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

44-13:27    For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

44-13:31    And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

44-13:32    And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

44-13:39    And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

44-13:40    Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

44-13:41    Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

44-13:45    But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

44-14:3     Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

44-14:13    Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

44-14:14    Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

44-14:15    And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

44-14:26    And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

44-15:1     And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

44-15:5     But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

44-15:8     And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

44-15:10    Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

44-15:16    After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

44-15:19    Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

44-15:23    And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:

44-15:24    Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

44-15:29    That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

44-15:31    Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

44-16:1     Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:

44-16:2     Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.

44-16:3     Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.

44-16:4     And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

44-16:12    And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.

44-16:13    And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

44-16:14    And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

44-16:16    And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

44-16:17    The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

44-16:21    And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

44-17:5     But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.

44-17:12    Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

44-17:21    (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

44-17:31    Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

44-17:34    Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.

44-18:27    And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

44-19:4     Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

44-19:10    And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

44-19:13    Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

44-19:14    And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

44-19:19    Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

44-19:24    For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;

44-19:26    Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

44-19:31    And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.

44-19:35    And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?

44-19:37    For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.

44-19:38    Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another.

44-20:19    Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

44-20:24    But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

44-20:28    Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

44-20:32    And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

44-20:38    Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.

44-21:8     And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

44-21:9     And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

44-21:20    And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

44-21:21    And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

44-21:23    Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;

44-21:25    As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

44-21:27    And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,

44-21:38    Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

44-21:39    But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.

44-22:1     Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you.

44-22:3     I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.

44-22:5     As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.

44-22:10    And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.

44-22:12    And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,

44-22:29    Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was afraid, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.

44-23:13    And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.

44-23:21    But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.

44-24:14    But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

44-24:15    And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

44-24:24    And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

44-25:5     Let them therefore, said he, which among you are able, go down with me, and accuse this man, if there be any wickedness in him.

44-25:7     And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.

44-25:16    To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have licence to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him.

44-25:19    But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

44-25:24    And Festus said, King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.

44-26:3     Especially because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.

44-26:4     My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;

44-26:5     Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.

44-26:7     Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope’s sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.

44-26:10    Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.

44-26:13    At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

44-26:16    But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

44-26:18    To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

44-26:22    Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

44-27:8     And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea.

44-27:11    Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

44-27:12    And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west.

44-27:16    And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:

44-27:17    Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.

44-27:39    And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.

44-27:43    But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:

44-28:9     So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:

44-28:11    And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.

44-28:24    And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

44-28:31    Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

45-ROMANS

45-1:2      (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

45-1:3      Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

45-1:19     Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

45-1:26     For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

45-1:27     And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

45-1:28     And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

45-1:32     Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

45-2:2      But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

45-2:3      And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

45-2:14     For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

45-2:15     Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

45-2:19     And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

45-2:20     An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

45-2:21     Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

45-2:27     And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

45-2:28     For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

45-2:29     But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

45-3:22     Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

45-3:26     To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

45-3:30     Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

45-4:11     And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

45-4:12     And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

45-4:14     For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

45-4:16     Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

45-4:17     (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

45-4:18     Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

45-5:5      And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

45-5:15     But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

45-5:17     For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

45-6:17     But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

45-7:2      For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

45-7:5      For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

45-7:10     And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

45-7:13     Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

45-7:15     For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

45-7:16     If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

45-7:18     For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

45-7:19     For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

45-7:23     But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

45-8:1      There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

45-8:18     For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

45-8:23     And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

45-8:26     Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

45-8:39     Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

45-9:6      Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

45-9:8      That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

45-9:23     And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

45-9:25     As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

45-9:30     What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

45-9:31     But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

45-10:5     For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

45-10:6     But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

45-10:8     But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

45-11:2     God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

45-11:7     What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

45-11:14    If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

45-11:22    Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

45-11:24    For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

45-12:1     I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

45-12:9     Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

45-12:14    Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

45-13:3     For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

45-13:4     For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

45-14:3     Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

45-14:19    Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

45-14:22    Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

45-15:17    I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.

45-15:18    For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

45-15:22    For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.

45-15:26    For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

45-15:31    That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

45-16:1     I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

45-16:10    Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus’ household.

45-16:11    Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, which are in the Lord.

45-16:12    Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord.

45-16:14    Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them.

45-16:15    Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them.

45-16:17    Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

45-16:19    For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

45-16:25    Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
