01-2:22 And the
rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman,
and brought her unto the man.
01-2:23 And Adam
said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be
called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
01-3:1 Now the
serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had
made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God
said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
01-3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit
of the trees of the garden:
01-3:4 And the
serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely
die:
01-3:6 And when
the woman saw that the tree was good for
food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to
make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also
unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
01-3:12 And the
man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with
me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
01-3:13 And the
LORD God said unto the woman, What is this
that thou hast done? And the woman said,
The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
01-3:15 And I
will put enmity between thee and the woman, and
between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise
his heel.
01-3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and
thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall
be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
01-12:11 And it
came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto
Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:

is unclean.
03-18:17 Thou shalt
not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her
daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s
daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near
kinswomen: it is wickedness.
03-18:19 Also thou
shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her
nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
03-18:23 Neither
shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is
confusion.
03-19:20 And
whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is
a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom
given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she

04-5:6 Speak
unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman
shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and

priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and
uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is
the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter
water that causeth the curse:
04-5:19 And the
priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman,
If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with
another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that
causeth the curse:
04-5:21 Then the
priest shall charge the woman with an oath of
cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman,
The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth
make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
04-5:22 And this
water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly
to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman
shall say, Amen, amen.
04-5:24 And he
shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water
that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into
her, and become bitter.
04-5:26 And the
priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof,
and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
04-5:27 And when
he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if
she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that
causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly
shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman
shall be a curse among her people.
04-5:28 And if
the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she
shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
04-5:30 Or when
the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and
shall set the woman before the LORD, and the
priest shall execute upon her all this law.
04-5:31 Then
shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman
shall bear her iniquity.
04-6:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of
a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
04-12:1 And
Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an

which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

earth.

troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and

and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning

word unto my lord the king. And he said, Say on.
10-14:13 And the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a
thing against the people of God? for the king doth speak this thing as one
which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his banished.
10-14:18 Then the
king answered and said unto the woman, Hide not
from me, I pray thee, the thing that I shall ask thee. And the woman said, Let my lord the king now speak.
10-14:19 And the
king said, Is not the hand of Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my
lord the king, none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that
my lord the king hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade me, and he put all
these words in the mouth of thine handmaid:
10-14:27 And unto
Absalom there were born three sons, and one daughter, whose name was Tamar:
she was a woman of a fair countenance.

is not so: but a man of mount Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name,
hath lifted up his hand against the king, even against David: deliver
him only, and I will depart from the city. And the woman
said unto Joab, Behold, his head shall be thrown to thee over the wall.
10-20:22 Then the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they
cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out to Joab.
And he blew a trumpet, and they retired from the city, every man to his tent.
And Joab returned to Jerusalem unto the king.
11-3:17 And the
one woman said, O my lord, I and this woman dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a
child with her in the house.
11-3:18 And it
came to pass the third day after that I was delivered, that this woman was delivered also: and we were together;
there was no stranger with us in the house, save we two in the house.
11-3:22 And the
other woman said, Nay; but the living is my
son, and the dead is thy son. And this said, No; but the dead is thy
son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the king.
11-3:26 Then
spake the woman whose the living child was unto
the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give
her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be
neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
11-11:26 And
Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon’s servant, whose
mother’s name was Zeruah, a widow woman,
even he lifted up his hand against the king.

LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of
thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her:
for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another
woman.

get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there:
behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to
sustain thee.
11-17:10 So he
arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold,
the widow woman was there gathering of
sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water
in a vessel, that I may drink.

came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his
sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.
11-17:24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art
a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.
12-4:1 Now
there cried a certain woman of the wives of the
sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and
thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to
take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
12-4:8 And it
fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so
it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat
bread.
12-4:17 And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that
Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.

restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn
wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it
shall also come upon the land seven years.
12-8:2 And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of
God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the
Philistines seven years.
12-8:3 And it
came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman
returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the
king for her house and for her land.

came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to
life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had
restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi
said, My lord, O king, this is the woman,
and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers,
and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even
until now.

66-17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and
decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her
hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
66-17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with
the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great
admiration.
66-17:7 And the angel said
unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath
the seven heads and ten horns.
66-17:9 And here is the
mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
66-17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which
reigneth over the kings of the earth.
