02-EXODUS
02-16:24 And they
laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was
there any worm therein.
18-JOB
18-17:14 I have said
to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm,
Thou art my mother, and my sister.
18-24:20 The womb
shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on
him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
18-25:6 How much
less man, that is a worm? and the son of
man, which is a worm?
19-22:6 But I am
a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and
despised of the people.
23-14:11 Thy pomp
is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
23-41:14 Fear not,
thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I
will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
23-51:8 For the
moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm
shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my
salvation from generation to generation.
23-66:24 And they
shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed
against me: for their worm shall not die,
neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all
flesh.
32-4:7 But God
prepared a worm when the morning rose the next
day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.
41-9:44 Where
their worm dieth not, and the fire is not
quenched.
41-9:46 Where
their worm dieth not, and the fire is not
quenched.
41-9:48 Where
their worm dieth not, and the fire is not
quenched.

02-EXODUS
02-16:20 Notwithstanding
they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning,
and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was
wroth with them.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-28:39 Thou shalt
plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the
wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms
shall eat them.
18-JOB
18-7:5 My flesh
is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin
is broken, and become loathsome.
18-19:26 And though
after my skin worms destroy this body,
yet in my flesh shall I see God:
18-21:26 They shall
lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall
cover them.
23-ISAIAH
23-14:11 Thy pomp
is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is
spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
33-MICAH
33-7:17 They
shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD
our God, and shall fear because of thee.
44-ACTS
44-12:23 And immediately
the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was
eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

05-DEUTERONOMY
05-29:18 Lest there
should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth
away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these
nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
20-PROVERBS
20-5:4 But her
end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged
sword.
24-JEREMIAH
24-9:15 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even
this people, with wormwood, and give them
water of gall to drink.
24-23:15 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them
with wormwood, and make them drink the water of
gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the
land.
25-LAMENTATIONS
25-3:15 He hath
filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.
25-3:19 Remembering
mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and
the gall.
30-AMOS
30-5:7 Ye who
turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off
righteousness in the earth,
66-REVELATION
66-8:11 And the name
of the star is called Wormwood: and the third
part of the waters became wormwood; and many men
died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

01-GENESIS
01-19:9 And they
said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to
sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the
man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
10-2 SAMUEL
10-19:7 Now
therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear
by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this
night: and that will be worse unto thee than all
the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.
11-16:25 But Omri
wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse
than all that were before him.
12-14:12 And Judah
was put to the worse before Israel; and they
fled every man to their tents.
13-19:16 And when
the Syrians saw that they were put to the worse
before Israel, they sent messengers, and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond
the river: and Shophach the captain of the host of Hadarezer went before
them.
13-19:19 And when
the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his
servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.
14-6:24 And if
thy people Israel be put to the worse before the
enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy
name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;
14-25:22 And Judah
was put to the worse before Israel, and they
fled every man to his tent.
14-33:9 So
Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed
before the children of Israel.
24-7:26 Yet they
hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did
worse than their fathers.
24-16:12 And ye
have done worse than your fathers; for, behold,
ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not
hearken unto me:
27-1:10 And the
prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath
appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of
your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
40-9:16 No man
putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to
fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
40-12:45 Then goeth
he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and
they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto
this wicked generation.
40-27:64 Command
therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his
disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is
risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse
than the first.
41-2:21 No man
also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that
filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.
41-5:26 And had
suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and
was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
42-11:26 Then goeth
he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they
enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
43-2:10 And saith
unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men
have well drunk, then that which is worse: but
thou hast kept the good wine until now.
43-5:14 Afterward
Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made
whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto
thee.
46-8:8 But meat
commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither,
if we eat not, are we the worse.
46-11:17 Now in
this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come
together not for the better, but for the worse.
54-5:8 But if
any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath
denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
55-3:13 But evil
men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
61-2:20 For if after
they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the
latter end is worse with them than the
beginning.

01-GENESIS
01-22:5 And
Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad
will go yonder and worship, and come again to
you.
02-EXODUS
02-24:1 And he said
unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and
seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye
afar off.
02-34:14 For thou
shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose
name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
05-4:19 And lest
thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon,
and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath
divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
05-8:19 And it
shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods,
and serve them, and worship them, I testify
against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
05-11:16 Take heed
to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve
other gods, and worship them;
05-26:10 And now,
behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast
given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:
05-30:17 But if
thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and
worship other gods, and serve them;
06-5:14 And he
said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And
Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship,
and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
09-1:3 And this
man went up out of his city yearly to worship
and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli,
Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.
09-15:25 Now
therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.
09-15:30 Then he
said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders
of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.
11-9:6 But if
ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep
my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and
serve other gods, and worship them:
11-12:30 And this
thing became a sin: for the people went to worship
before the one, even unto Dan.
12-5:18 In this
thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the
house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth
on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in
the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.
12-17:36 But the
LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a
stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship,
and to him shall ye do sacrifice.
12-18:22 But if ye
say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not that he, whose high
places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and
Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in
Jerusalem?
13-16:29 Give unto
the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before
him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
14-7:19 But if ye
turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before
you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship
them;
14-32:12 Hath not the
same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah
and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before
one altar, and burn incense upon it?
19-5:7 But as
for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and
in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy
temple.
19-22:27 All the
ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds
of the nations shall worship before thee.
19-22:29 All they
that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship:
all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive
his own soul.
19-29:2 Give unto
the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship
the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
19-45:11 So shall
the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.
19-66:4 All the
earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto
thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
19-81:9 There
shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship
any strange god.
19-86:9 All nations
whom thou hast made shall come and worship
before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
19-95:6 O come,
let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before
the LORD our maker.
19-96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before
him, all the earth.
19-97:7 Confounded
be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
19-99:5 Exalt ye
the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for
he is holy.
19-99:9 Exalt the
LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for
the LORD our God is holy.
19-132:7 We will go
into his tabernacles: we will worship at his
footstool.
19-138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name
for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word
above all thy name.
23-2:8 Their
land also is full of idols; they worship the
work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
23-2:20 In that
day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they
made each one for himself to worship, to
the moles and to the bats;
23-27:13 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown,
and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts
in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD
in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
23-36:7 But if
thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it not he, whose high
places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem,
Ye shall worship before this altar?
23-46:6 They
lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a
goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.
23-49:7 Thus
saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom
man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings
shall see and arise, princes also shall worship,
because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he
shall choose thee.
23-66:23 And it
shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one
sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship
before me, saith the LORD.
24-7:2 Stand in
the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the
word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.
24-13:10 This evil
people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their
heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for
nothing.
24-25:6 And go
not after other gods to serve them, and to worship
them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do
you no hurt.
24-26:2 Thus saith
the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’S house, and speak unto all the cities
of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’S
house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a
word:
24-44:19 And when
we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto
her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and
pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?
26-46:2 And the
prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and
shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt
offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship
at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be
shut until the evening.
26-46:3 Likewise
the people of the land shall worship at the door
of this gate before the LORD in the sabbaths and in the new moons.
26-46:9 But when
the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that
entereth in by the way of the north gate to worship
shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of
the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return
by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it.
27-3:5 That at
what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery,
dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship
the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
27-3:10 Thou, O king,
hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet,
flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall
fall down and worship the golden image:
27-3:12 There are
certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon,
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee:
they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden
image which thou hast set up.
27-3:14 Nebuchadnezzar
spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden
image which I have set up?
27-3:15 Now if ye
be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp,
sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but
if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same
hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that
shall deliver you out of my hands?
27-3:18 But if not,
be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
27-3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar
spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and
have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not
serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
33-5:13 Thy
graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of
thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of
thine hands.
36-1:5 And them
that worship the host of heaven upon the
housetops; and them that worship and that
swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;
36-2:11 The LORD will
be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men
shall worship him, every one from his place,
even all the isles of the heathen.
38-14:16 And it
shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which
came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the
feast of tabernacles.
38-14:17 And it
shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the
earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the
LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
40-2:2 Saying,
Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the
east, and are come to worship him.
40-2:8 And he sent
them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and
when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
40-4:9 And
saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
40-4:10 Then
saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou
serve.
40-15:9 But in
vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines
the commandments of men.
41-7:7 Howbeit
in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines
the commandments of men.
42-4:7 If thou
therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
42-4:8 And
Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written,
Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him
only shalt thou serve.
42-14:10 But when
thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade
thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with
thee.
43-4:20 Our
fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place
where men ought to worship.
43-4:21 Jesus
saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in
this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the
Father.
43-4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
43-4:23 But the
hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the
Father seeketh such to worship him.
43-4:24 God is
a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
43-12:20 And there
were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship
at the feast:
44-7:42 Then God
turned, and gave them up to worship the host of
heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel,
have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty
years in the wilderness?
44-7:43 Yea, ye
took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures
which ye made to worship them: and I will carry
you away beyond Babylon.
44-8:27 And he
arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority
under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure,
and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
44-17:23 For as I
passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription,
TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship,
him declare I unto you.
44-18:13 Saying,
This fellow persuadeth men to worship God
contrary to the law.
44-24:11 Because
that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up
to Jerusalem for to worship.
44-24:14 But this I
confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things
which are written in the law and in the prophets:
46-14:25 And thus
are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face
he will worship God, and report that God is in
you of a truth.
50-3:3 For we
are the circumcision, which worship God in the
spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
51-2:23 Which
things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship,
and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying
of the flesh.
58-1:6 And again,
when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the
angels of God worship him.
66-3:9 Behold,
I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are
not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship
before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
66-4:10 The four
and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast
their crowns before the throne, saying,
66-9:20 And the
rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the
works of their hands, that they should not worship
devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which
neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
66-11:1 And there
was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and
measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
66-13:8 And all
that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,
whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the
foundation of the world.
66-13:12 And he
exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth
and them which dwell therein to worship the
first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
66-13:15 And he had
power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast
should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship
the image of the beast should be killed.
66-14:7 Saying
with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his
judgment is come: and worship him that made
heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
66-14:9 And the
third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark
in his forehead, or in his hand,
66-14:11 And the
smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest
day nor night, who worship the beast and his
image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
66-15:4 Who shall
not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy:
for all nations shall come and worship before
thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
66-19:10 And I fell
at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me,
See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that
have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for
the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
66-22:8 And I
John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I
fell down to worship before the feet of the
angel which shewed me these things.
66-22:9 Then
saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of
thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

01-24:26 And the
man bowed down his head, and worshipped the
LORD.
01-24:48 And I
bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and

ever.

thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and
