01-GENESIS
01-4:23 And Lamech
said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech,
hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
01-14:24 Save only
that which the young men have eaten, and the
portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take
their portion.
01-15:9 And he
said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three
years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
01-18:7 And
Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto
a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
01-19:4 But
before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom,
compassed the house round, both old and young,
all the people from every quarter:
01-22:3 And
Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the
wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God
had told him.
01-22:5 And
Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here
with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to
you.
01-22:19 So Abraham
returned unto his young men, and they rose up
and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
01-31:38 This
twenty years have I been with thee; thy ewes and thy she goats
have not cast their young, and the rams of thy
flock have I not eaten.
01-33:13 And he
said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the
flocks and herds with young are with me:
and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
01-34:19 And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had
delight in Jacob’s daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house
of his father.
01-41:12 And there
was there with us a young man, an Hebrew,
servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us
our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.
02-10:9 And Moses
said, We will go with our young and with our
old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds
will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.
02-23:26 There
shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren,
in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
02-24:5 And he
sent young men of the children of Israel, which
offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.
02-29:1 And this is
the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me
in the priest’s office: Take one young bullock,
and two rams without blemish,
02-33:11 And the
LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he
turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
03-1:14 And if
the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall
bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young
pigeons.
03-4:3 If the
priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him
bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young
bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
03-4:14 When the
sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall
offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him
before the tabernacle of the congregation.
03-5:7 And if
he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he
hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young
pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt
offering.
03-5:11 But if he
be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young
pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an
ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither
shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
03-9:2 And he
said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a
sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them
before the LORD.
03-12:6 And when
the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she
shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering,
unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
03-12:8 And if
she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the
other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and
she shall be clean.
03-14:22 And two
turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is
able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt
offering.
03-14:30 And he
shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young
pigeons, such as he can get;
03-15:14 And on the
eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
03-15:29 And on the
eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young
pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation.
03-16:3 Thus shall
Aaron come into the holy place: with a young
bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
03-22:28 And whether
it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young
both in one day.
03-23:18 And ye
shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and
one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for
a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink
offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.
04-6:10 And on
the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young
pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
04-7:15 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:21 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:27 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:33 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:39 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:45 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:51 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:57 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:63 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:69 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:75 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-7:81 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year,
for a burnt offering:
04-8:8 Then let
them take a young bullock with his meat
offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.
04-11:27 And there
ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad
and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
04-11:28 And Joshua
the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
04-15:24 Then it
shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of
the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour
unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the
manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
04-23:24 Behold,
the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the
prey, and drink the blood of the slain.
04-28:11 And in the
beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first
year without spot;
04-28:19 But ye
shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD;
two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs
of the first year: they shall be unto you without blemish:
04-28:27 But ye
shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first
year;
04-29:2 And ye
shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the
first year without blemish:
04-29:8 But ye
shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD for a sweet savour; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the
first year; they shall be unto you without blemish:
04-29:13 And ye
shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto
the LORD; thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and
fourteen lambs of the first year; they shall be without blemish:
04-29:17 And on the
second day ye shall offer twelve young
bullocks, two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot:
05-22:6 If a bird’s
nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether
they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam
sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou
shalt not take the dam with the young:
05-22:7 But thou
shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young
to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy
days.
05-28:50 A nation
of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew
favour to the young:
05-28:57 And toward
her young one that cometh out from between her
feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for
want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine
enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.
05-32:11 As an
eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young,
spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
05-32:25 The sword
without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young
man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.
06-6:21 And they
utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the
edge of the sword.
06-6:23 And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out
Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had;
and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.
07-6:25 And it
came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years
old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the
grove that is by it:
07-8:14 And
caught a young man of the men of Succoth, and
enquired of him: and he described unto him the princes of Succoth, and the
elders thereof, even threescore and seventeen men.
07-9:54 Then he
called hastily unto the young man his
armourbearer, and said unto him, Draw thy sword, and slay me, that men say not
of me, A woman slew him. And his young man thrust
him through, and he died.
07-14:5 Then went
Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the
vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion
roared against him.
07-14:10 So his father
went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.
07-17:7 And there
was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the
family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
07-17:11 And the
Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young
man was unto him as one of his sons.
07-17:12 And Micah
consecrated the Levite; and the young man became
his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
07-18:3 When they
were by the house of Micah, they knew the voice of the young man the Levite: and they turned in thither, and
said unto him, Who brought thee hither? and what makest thou in this place? and
what hast thou here?
07-18:15 And they
turned thitherward, and came to the house of the young
man the Levite, even unto the house of Micah, and saluted him.
07-19:19 Yet there
is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine also for
me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which
is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing.
07-21:12 And they
found among the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any
male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the
land of Canaan.
08-2:9 Let thine
eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I
not charged the young men that they shall not
touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that
which the young men have drawn.
08-2:15 And when
she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young
men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:
08-2:21 And Ruth
the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest.
08-3:10 And he
said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast
shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou
followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.
08-4:12 And let
thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed
which the LORD shall give thee of this young
woman.
09-1:24 And when
she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one
ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD
in Shiloh: and the child was young.
09-2:17 Wherefore
the sin of the young men was very great before
the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.
09-8:16 And he
will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his
work.
09-9:2 And he
had a son, whose name was Saul, a choice young
man, and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a
goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher
than any of the people.
09-9:11 And as
they went up the hill to the city, they found young
maidens going out to draw water, and said unto them, Is the seer here?
09-14:1 Now it
came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go
over to the Philistines’ garrison, that is on the other side. But he
told not his father.
09-14:6 And
Jonathan said to the young man that bare his
armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it
may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the
LORD to save by many or by few.
09-17:58 And Saul
said to him, Whose son art thou, thou young
man? And David answered, I am the son of thy servant Jesse the
Bethlehemite.
09-20:22 But if I
say thus unto the young man, Behold, the arrows are
beyond thee; go thy way: for the LORD hath sent thee away.
09-21:4 And the
priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine
hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men
have kept themselves at least from women.
09-21:5 And David
answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept
from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in a manner
common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.
09-25:5 And David
sent out ten young men, and David said unto the young men, Get you up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and
greet him in my name:
09-25:8 Ask thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour in thine eyes: for we come in a
good day: give, I pray thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand unto thy servants,
and to thy son David.
09-25:9 And when
David’s young men came, they spake to Nabal
according to all those words in the name of David, and ceased.
09-25:12 So David’s
young men turned their way, and went again, and
came and told him all those sayings.
09-25:14 But one of
the young men told Abigail, Nabal’s wife, saying,
Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to salute our master; and
he railed on them.
09-25:25 Let not my
lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his
name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with
him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men
of my lord, whom thou didst send.
09-25:27 And now
this blessing which thine handmaid hath brought unto my lord, let it even be
given unto the young men that follow my lord.
09-26:22 And David
answered and said, Behold the king’s spear! and let one of the young men come over and fetch it.
09-30:13 And David
said unto him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And
he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant
to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick.
09-30:17 And David
smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there
escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young
men, which rode upon camels, and fled.
10-1:5 And
David said unto the young man that told him, How
knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?
10-1:6 And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance
upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots
and horsemen followed hard after him.
10-1:13 And David
said unto the young man that told him, Whence art
thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.
10-1:15 And David
called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and
fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
10-2:14 And Abner
said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and
play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.
10-2:21 And Abner
said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee
hold on one of the young men, and take thee his
armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
10-4:12 And David
commanded his young men, and they slew them, and
cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in
Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried it in the
sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
10-9:12 And
Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha.
And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
10-13:32 And
Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David’s brother, answered and said, Let not my lord
suppose that they have slain all the young
men the king’s sons; for Amnon only is dead: for by the appointment of Absalom
this hath been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.
10-13:34 But
Absalom fled. And the young man that kept the
watch lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came much people by
the way of the hill side behind him.
10-14:21 And the
king said unto Joab, Behold now, I have done this thing: go therefore, bring
the young man Absalom again.
10-16:2 And the
king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses be
for the king’s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the
young men to eat; and the wine, that such as be
faint in the wilderness may drink.
10-18:5 And the
king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Deal gently for my
sake with the young man, even with
Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge
concerning Absalom.
10-18:12 And the
man said unto Joab, Though I should receive a thousand shekels of silver
in mine hand, yet would I not put forth mine hand against the king’s
son: for in our hearing the king charged thee and Abishai and Ittai, saying,
Beware that none touch the young man
Absalom.
10-18:15 And ten young men that bare Joab’s armour compassed about and
smote Absalom, and slew him.
10-18:29 And the
king said, Is the young man Absalom safe? And
Ahimaaz answered, When Joab sent the king’s servant, and me thy servant,
I saw a great tumult, but I knew not what it was.
10-18:32 And the
king said unto Cushi, Is the young man Absalom
safe? And Cushi answered, The enemies of my lord the king, and all that rise
against thee to do thee hurt, be as that young
man is.
11-1:2 Wherefore
his servants said unto him, Let there be sought for my lord the king a young virgin: and let her stand before the king, and
let her cherish him, and let her lie in thy bosom, that my lord the king may
get heat.
11-11:28 And the
man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler
over all the charge of the house of Joseph.
11-12:8 But he
forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted
with the young men that were grown up with him, and
which stood before him:
11-12:10 And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying,
Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father
made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou
say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father’s loins.
11-12:14 And spake
to them after the counsel of the young men,
saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also
chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
11-20:14 And Ahab
said, By whom? And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Even by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he
said, Who shall order the battle? And he answered, Thou.
11-20:15 Then he
numbered the young men of the princes of the
provinces, and they were two hundred and thirty two: and after them he numbered
all the people, even all the children of Israel, being seven
thousand.
11-20:17 And the young men of the princes of the provinces went out
first; and Benhadad sent out, and they told him, saying, There are men come out
of Samaria.
11-20:19 So these young men of the princes of the provinces came out of
the city, and the army which followed them.
12-4:22 And she
called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the
man of God, and come again.
12-5:22 And he
said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now
there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young
men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver,
and two changes of garments.
12-6:17 And
Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And
the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and
he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of
fire round about Elisha.
12-8:12 And
Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that
thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on
fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with
the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.
12-9:4 So the young man, even the young
man the prophet, went to Ramothgilead.
13-12:28 And Zadok,
a young man mighty of valour, and of his
father’s house twenty and two captains.
13-22:5 And David
said, Solomon my son is young and tender,
and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding
magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now
make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
13-29:1 Furthermore
David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God
hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and
the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the
LORD God.
14-10:8 But he
forsook the counsel which the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that stood
before him.
14-10:10 And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto
him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying,
Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it somewhat lighter for
us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker
than my father’s loins.
14-10:14 And
answered them after the advice of the young men,
saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father
chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
14-13:7 And there
are gathered unto him vain men, the children of Belial, and have strengthened
themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tenderhearted, and could not withstand them.
14-13:9 Have ye
not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and
have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so
that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young
bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no
gods.
14-34:3 For in
the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young,
he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he
began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and
the carved images, and the molten images.
14-36:17 Therefore
he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their
sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man
or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into
his hand.
15-6:9 And that
which they have need of, both young bullocks,
and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt,
wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at
Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:
17-2:2 Then
said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king:
17-2:3 And let
the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may
gather together all the fair young virgins unto
Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hege the
king’s chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification
be given them:
17-3:13 And the
letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill,
and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and
old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day
of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil
of them for a prey.
17-8:10 And he
wrote in the king Ahasuerus’ name, and sealed it with the king’s ring,
and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and
young dromedaries:
18-1:19 And,
behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners
of the house, and it fell upon the young men,
and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-4:10 The
roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
18-19:18 Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake
against me.
18-29:8 The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged
arose, and stood up.
18-32:6 And Elihu
the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was
afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
18-38:39 Wilt thou
hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
18-38:41 Who
provideth for the raven his food? when his young
ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
18-39:3 They bow
themselves, they bring forth their young ones,
they cast out their sorrows.
18-39:4 Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn;
they go forth, and return not unto them.
18-39:16 She is
hardened against her young ones, as though they
were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;
18-39:30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are,
there is she.
19-17:12 Like as a
lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
19-29:6 He maketh
them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
19-34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that
seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
19-37:25 I have
been young, and now am old; yet have I
not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
19-58:6 Break
their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
19-78:63 The fire
consumed their young men; and their maidens were
not given to marriage.
19-78:71 From
following the ewes great with young he brought
him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.
19-84:3 Yea, the
sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may
lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD
of hosts, my King, and my God.
19-91:13 Thou shalt
tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion
and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
19-104:21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat
from God.
19-119:9 BETH.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?
by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
19-147:9 He giveth
to the beast his food, and to the young
ravens which cry.
19-148:12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
20-1:4 To give
subtilty to the simple, to the young man
knowledge and discretion.
20-7:7 And
beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
20-20:29 The glory
of young men is their strength: and the
beauty of old men is the gray head.
20-30:17 The eye that
mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the
ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young
eagles shall eat it.
21-11:9 Rejoice,
O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart
cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and
in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God
will bring thee into judgment.
22-2:9 My
beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold,
he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself
through the lattice.
22-2:17 Until the
day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe
or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
22-4:5 Thy two
breasts are like two young roes that are
twins, which feed among the lilies.
22-7:3 Thy two
breasts are like two young roes that
are twins.
22-8:14 Make
haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young
hart upon the mountains of spices.
23-5:29 Their
roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the
prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
23-7:21 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;
23-9:17 Therefore
the Lord shall have no joy in their young men,
neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an
hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his
anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
23-11:6 The wolf also
shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the
calf and the young lion and the fatling
together; and a little child shall lead them.
23-11:7 And the
cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones
shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
23-13:18 Their bows
also shall dash the young men to pieces; and
they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare
children.
23-20:4 So shall
the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians
captives, young and old, naked and barefoot,
even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
23-23:4 Be thou
ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea,
saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.
23-30:6 The
burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from
whence come the young and old lion, the
viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders
of young asses, and their treasures upon the
bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
23-30:24 The oxen
likewise and the young asses that ear the ground
shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with
the fan.
23-31:4 For thus
hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young
lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against
him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the
noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion,
and for the hill thereof.
23-31:8 Then
shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not
of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.
23-40:11 He shall
feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and
carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are
with young.
23-40:30 Even the
youths shall faint and be weary, and the young
men shall utterly fall:
23-62:5 For as
a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall
thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so
shall thy God rejoice over thee.
24-2:15 The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and
they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant.
24-6:11 Therefore
I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it
out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young
men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him
that is full of days.
24-9:21 For death
is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off
the children from without, and the young
men from the streets.
24-11:22 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their
daughters shall die by famine:
24-15:8 Their
widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them
against the mother of the young men a spoiler at
noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon
the city.
24-18:21 Therefore
deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the
force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be
widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.
24-31:12 Therefore
they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the
goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul
shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
24-31:13 Then shall
the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men
and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort
them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
24-48:15 Moab is
spoiled, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the
King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
24-49:26 Therefore
her young men shall fall in her streets, and all
the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
24-50:30 Therefore
shall her young men fall in the streets, and all
her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD.
24-51:3 Against him
that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth
himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young
men; destroy ye utterly all her host.
24-51:22 With thee
also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces
old and young; and with thee will I break in
pieces the young man and the maid;
25-1:15 The Lord hath
trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called
an assembly against me to crush my young men:
the Lord hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a
winepress.
25-1:18 The LORD
is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you,
all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young
men are gone into captivity.
25-2:19 Arise,
cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like
water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of
thy young children, that faint for hunger in the
top of every street.
25-2:21 The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my
virgins and my young men are fallen by the
sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed,
and not pitied.
25-4:3 Even the
sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel,
like the ostriches in the wilderness.
25-4:4 The
tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it
unto them.
25-5:13 They took
the young men to grind, and the children fell
under the wood.
25-5:14 The
elders have ceased from the gate, the young men
from their musick.
26-9:6 Slay
utterly old and young, both maids, and
little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the
mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were
before the house.
26-17:4 He
cropped off the top of his young twigs, and
carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants.
26-17:22 Thus saith
the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and
will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high
mountain and eminent:
26-19:2 And say,
What is thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished
her whelps among young lions.
26-19:3 And she
brought up one of her whelps: it became a young
lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.
26-19:5 Now when
she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another
of her whelps, and made him a young lion.
26-19:6 And he
went up and down among the lions, he became a young
lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men.
26-23:6 Which
were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.
26-23:12 She doted
upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most
gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.
26-23:23 The
Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all
the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young
men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon
horses.
26-30:17 The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the
sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.
26-31:6 All the
fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all
the beasts of the field bring forth their young,
and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
26-32:2 Son of
man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou
art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art
as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and
troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
26-38:13 Sheba, and
Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young
lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou
gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take
away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
26-41:19 So that
the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face
of a young lion toward the palm tree on the
other side: it was made through all the house round about.
26-43:19 And thou
shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which
approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
26-43:23 When thou
hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the
flock without blemish.
26-43:25 Seven days
shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also
prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the
flock, without blemish.
26-45:18 Thus saith
the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month,
thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish,
and cleanse the sanctuary:
26-46:6 And in
the day of the new moon it shall be a young
bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without
blemish.
28-5:14 For I will
be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young
lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will
take away, and none shall rescue him.
29-2:28 And it
shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all
flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall
dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
30-2:11 And I
raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young
men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith
the LORD.
30-3:4 Will a
lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young
lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
30-4:10 I have
sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken
away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your
nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
30-8:13 In that
day shall the fair virgins and young men faint
for thirst.
33-5:8 And the
remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a
lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young
lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and
teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
34-2:11 Where is
the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion,
walked, and the lion’s whelp, and none made them afraid?
34-2:13 Behold, I
am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots
in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young
lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy
messengers shall no more be heard.
34-3:10 Yet was
she carried away, she went into captivity: her young
children also were dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets: and they
cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains.
38-2:4 And said
unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying,
Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of
men and cattle therein:
38-9:17 For how
great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall
make the young men cheerful, and new wine the
maids.
38-11:3 There
is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a
voice of the roaring of young lions; for the
pride of Jordan is spoiled.
38-11:16 For, lo, I
will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that
be cut off, neither shall seek the young one,
nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall
eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
40-2:8 And he
sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring
me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
40-2:9 When
they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in
the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
40-2:11 And when
they were come into the house, they saw the young
child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they
had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and
frankincense, and myrrh.
40-2:13 And when
they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a
dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child
and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word:
for Herod will seek the young child to destroy
him.
40-2:14 When he
arose, he took the young child and his mother by
night, and departed into Egypt:
40-2:20 Saying,
Arise, and take the young child and his mother,
and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.
40-2:21 And he
arose, and took the young child and his mother,
and came into the land of Israel.
40-19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept
from my youth up: what lack I yet?

the young man heard that saying, he went away
sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
43-12:14 And Jesus,
when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as
it is written,
43-21:18 Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young,
thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt
be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and
carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
44-2:17 And it
shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit
upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall
dream dreams:
44-5:6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out,
and buried him.

brought the young man alive, and were not a
little comforted.
44-23:17 Then Paul
called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a
certain thing to tell him.
44-23:18 So he took
him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner
called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young
man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.

chief captain then let the young man
depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed
these things to me.

unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning.

known the Father.
62-2:14 I have
written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the
beginning. I have written unto you, young men,
because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome
the wicked one.
