17-5:10 Nevertheless
Haman refrained himself: and when he came home, he sent and called for his
friends, and Zeresh his
wife.
17-5:14 Then said
Zeresh his wife and all his friends
unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou
unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with
the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the
gallows to be made.
17-6:13 And Haman
told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai
be of the seed of the Jews, before
whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt
surely fall before him.

13-3:19 And
the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the
sons of Zerubbabel;
Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister:
15-2:2 Which
came with Zerubbabel:
Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mizpar, Bigvai, Rehum,
Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
15-3:2 Then stood
up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel,
and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt
offerings thereon, as it is written
in the law of Moses the man of God.
15-3:8 Now in
the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the
second month, began Zerubbabel the
son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their
brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the
captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and
upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.
15-4:2 Then
they came to Zerubbabel,
and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for
we seek your God, as ye do; and we do
sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us
up hither.
15-4:3 But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the
rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to
do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build
unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded
us.
15-5:2 Then
rose up Zerubbabel
the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the
house of God which is at Jerusalem:
and with them were the prophets of
God helping them.
16-7:7 Who came
with Zerubbabel,
Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth,
Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say,
of the men of the people of Israel was
this;
16-12:1 Now these
are the priests and the Levites that
went up with Zerubbabel
the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
16-12:47 And all
Israel in the days of Zerubbabel,
and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters,
every day his portion: and they sanctified holy
things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.
37-1:1 In the second
year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month,
came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and
to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,
37-1:12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel,
and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the
people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the
prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the
LORD.
37-1:14 And the
LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and
the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of
all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the
LORD of hosts, their God,
37-2:2 Speak
now to Zerubbabel
the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the
high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
37-2:4 Yet now
be strong, O Zerubbabel,
saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and
be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
37-2:21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah,
saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
37-2:23 In that
day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the
LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of
hosts.
38-4:6 Then he
answered and spake unto me, saying, This is
the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by
my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
38-4:9 The
hands of Zerubbabel
have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and
thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.
38-4:10 For who
hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see
the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to
and fro through the whole earth.

09-26:6 Then
answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying,
Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down
with thee.
10-2:13 And Joab
the son of Zeruiah, and
the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and
they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other
side of the pool.
10-2:18 And there
were three sons of Zeruiah
there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.
10-3:39 And I am this day weak, though anointed king;
and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall
reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.
10-8:16 And Joab
the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the
son of Ahilud was recorder;
10-14:1 Now Joab
the son of Zeruiah perceived
that the king’s heart was toward
Absalom.
10-16:9 Then said
Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto
the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I
pray thee, and take off his head.
10-16:10 And the
king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said
unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?
10-17:25 And
Absalom made Amasa captain of the host instead of Joab: which Amasa was a man’s son, whose name was Ithra an Israelite, that went in to
Abigail the daughter of Nahash, sister to Zeruiah Joab’s mother.
10-18:2 And David
sent forth a third part of the people under the hand of Joab, and a third part
under the hand of Abishai the son of Zeruiah, Joab’s brother, and a third part under the
hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said unto the people, I will surely go
forth with you myself also.
10-19:21 But
Abishai the son of Zeruiah
answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed
the LORD’S anointed?
10-19:22 And David
said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto
me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know
that I am this day king over Israel?
10-21:17 But
Abishai the son of Zeruiah
succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David
sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou
quench not the light of Israel.
10-23:18 And
Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief among three. And he lifted up his
spear against three hundred, and slew
them, and had the name among three.
10-23:37 Zelek the Ammonite,
Nahari the Beerothite, armourbearer to Joab the son of Zeruiah,
11-1:7 And he
conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah, and with Abiathar the priest: and they
following Adonijah helped him.
11-2:5 Moreover
thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and
what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son
of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of
war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes
that were on his feet.
11-2:22 And king
Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the
Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and
for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
13-2:16 Whose
sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and
Asahel, three.
13-11:6 And
David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain.
So Joab the son of Zeruiah went
first up, and was chief.
13-11:39 Zelek
the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, the armourbearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah,
13-18:12 Moreover
Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew
of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.
13-18:15 And
Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the
son of Ahilud, recorder.
13-26:28 And
all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner,
and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had
dedicated; and whosoever had
dedicated any thing, it was under the
hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
13-27:24 Joab
the son of Zeruiah
began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against
Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king
David.

10-9:2 And there was of the house of Saul a servant

10-9:3 And the
king said, Is there not yet any of

10-9:4 And the
king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he

10-9:9 Then the
king called to Ziba, Saul’s

pertained to Saul and to all his house.
10-9:10 Thou
therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and
thou shalt bring in the fruits, that
thy master’s son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master’s son shall
eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
10-9:11 Then said
Ziba unto the king, According to
all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do.
As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he
shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons.
10-9:12 And
Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was
Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants
unto Mephibosheth.
10-16:1 And when
David was a little past the top of the
hill, behold, Ziba the
servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them
two hundred loaves of bread, and an
hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of
wine.
10-16:2 And the
king said unto Ziba, What
meanest thou by these? And Ziba said,
The asses be for the king’s household
to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the
wine, that such as be faint in the wilderness may drink.
10-16:3 And the
king said, And where is thy master’s
son? And Ziba said
unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem: for he said, To day shall the
house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.
10-16:4 Then said
the king to Ziba,
Behold, thine are all that pertained unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I humbly beseech thee that I may find grace in thy sight, my
lord, O king.
10-19:17 And there were a thousand men of Benjamin
with him, and Ziba the
servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with
him; and they went over Jordan before the king.
10-19:29 And the
king said unto him, Why speakest thou any more of thy matters? I have said,
Thou and Ziba divide
the land.

10-4:10 When one
told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I
took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who thought
that I would have given him a reward for his tidings:
13-4:30 And
at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
13-12:1 Now
these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself
close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war.
13-12:20 As
he went to Ziklag,
there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael,
and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.
16-11:28 And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages
thereof,

01-4:19 And Lamech
took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
01-4:22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an
instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
01-4:23 And
Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto
my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.

01-29:24 And Laban
gave unto his daughter Leah Zilpah his
maid for an handmaid.
01-30:9 When Leah
saw that she had left bearing, she took Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife.
01-30:10 And Zilpah Leah’s maid bare Jacob a
son.
01-30:12 And Zilpah Leah’s maid bare Jacob a
second son.
01-35:26 And the
sons of Zilpah, Leah’s
handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these are the
sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram.
01-37:2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding
the flock with his brethren; and the lad was
with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his
father their evil report.
01-46:18 These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and these
she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen
souls.

13-8:20 And
Elienai, and Zilthai, and
Eliel,
13-12:20 As
he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and
Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.

13-6:20 Of
Gershom; Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,
13-6:42 The
son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the
son of Shimei,
14-29:12 Then
the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of
the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi,
and Azariah the son of Jehalelel: and of the Gershonites; Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:

01-25:2 And she
bare him Zimran, and
Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
13-1:32 Now
the sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak,
and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.

04-25:14 Now the
name of the Israelite that was slain, even
that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the
son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.
11-16:9 And his
servant Zimri,
captain of half his chariots,
conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house
of Arza steward of his house in
Tirzah.
11-16:10 And Zimri went in and smote him, and
killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in
his stead.
11-16:12 Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of
Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by
Jehu the prophet,
11-16:15 In the
twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.
11-16:16 And the
people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also
slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king
over Israel that day in the camp.
11-16:18 And it
came to pass, when Zimri saw
that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king’s house, and
burnt the king’s house over him with fire, and died,
11-16:20 Now the
rest of the acts of Zimri, and
his treason that he wrought, are they
not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
12-9:31 And as
Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had
Zimri peace,
who slew his master?
13-2:6 And
the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and
Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
13-8:36 And
Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
13-9:42 And
Ahaz begat Jarah; and Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
24-25:25 And all
the kings of Zimri, and
all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes,

04-13:21 So they
went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.
04-20:1 Then came
the children of Israel, even the
whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh;
and Miriam died there, and was buried there.
04-27:14 For ye
rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me
at the water before their eyes: that is the
water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.
04-33:36 And they
removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
04-34:3 Then your
south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border
shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
04-34:4 And your
border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof
shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and
pass on to Azmon:
05-32:51 Because ye
trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of
Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the
children of Israel.
06-15:1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the
children of Judah by their families; even
to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was
the uttermost part of the south coast.
06-15:3 And it
went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south
side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and
fetched a compass to Karkaa:
