said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox
licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king
of the Moabites at that time.
04-22:10††† And Balaam
said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, hath sent unto me, saying,
04-22:16††† And they
came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus saith Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee,
hinder thee from coming unto me:
04-23:18††† And he
took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou
son of Zippor:
Balak the son of Zippor, king
of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of
Beor to curse you:
07-11:25††† And now art thou any thing better than Balak the
son of Zippor, king
of Moab? did he ever strive against Israel, or did he ever fight against them,
Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.
Zipporah took a sharp stone, and
cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it
at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
Jethro, Mosesí father in law, took Zipporah, Mosesí wife, after he had sent her back,

after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; which bare him Abijah, and

19-78:43††† How he had
wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan:
23-19:11††† Surely the
princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise
counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of
princes of Zoan are

lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the

01-14:2†††† That these made war with Bera king of
Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber
king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
01-14:8†††† And there
went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah,
and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and
they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;
thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither.
Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
01-19:23††† The sun
was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
01-19:30††† And Lot
went up out of Zoar, and

23-15:5†††† My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting
up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they
shall raise up a cry of destruction.
24-48:34††† From the
cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, and even unto Jahaz, have they uttered
their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, as an heifer of three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim
shall be desolate.

the children of Ammon saw that they stank before David, the children of Ammon
